I was referred to this auto repair business by my wife's coworker. She said she had been going to them for years and was extremely happy. So I thought I'd give them a try and I was very satisfied with the service. They did my front and back brakes on my 2000 4WD Tahoe. The work was described clearly to me and the quote clear also. The final cost was slightly higher then the quote but I knew ahead of time that it might be as they indicated the back rotors may need to be replaced if they could not be smoothed out. But to keep the cost down they charged me their cost for the back rotors. Your don't hear of many auto repair places doing that for big ticket items. Anyhow, I would definitely give Duncan's a try as they are fast, reliable and honest and offer good value in their service. read more

Our family has been going to Duncan Auto for over 7 years. Duane, Gregg, and Chris are an amazing team. Reasonable prices. Honest work and they treat you like family. When I purchased a used sports car I took it to Gregg and he looked it over, gave it an ok mechanical bill of health then had me find a specialist for it as he wasn't comfortable working on its electronics. A less honest mechanic would have taken the free paychecks to learn things but not Gregg. read more

I've taken my car to these guys over the last two years. They do an excellent job and don't try to sell unnecessary services. Today on my way to work I got a screw in my tire. I took it over to Duncan and Greg took out the screw and patched it in 10 minutes. Charged me 10 bucks. I gave him 20 bucks for his excellent service! So being a victim of shitty service from a ford dealership .. Finding a place to help on such short notice was kind of impossible ,until I came across this place . The staff where not only super nice and helpful . They didn't take advantage of you and make u pay for a bunch of bs your car didn't need . I felt like they went up and beyond to help me . I also liked that they were so thorough and if I had any other issues that would be able to help me. It was also cool for them to give me mini lesson about my car as well :) since I like to know everything that's going on :p .. So if You want honest mechanics..I would highly recommend this place .. My family and I were driving to Orange County from Sacramento when we ran over some rubber from a big rig tire. All of a sudden the car started making a terrible metal-on-metal grinding noise. Panicking we looked up Duncan's Auto on yelp and called them to explain the issue. They told us to come right on in and they would immediately take a look. Within 15 minutes they had diagnosed and fixed the issue, all for a minimal charge. Everyone was professional and courteous, as well as sincerely sympathetic to our situation. Since we don't live in Southern California, I doubt we will ever patron their shop again, but I highly recommend them to anyone that does live out there. Thanks again Duncan's Auto!!! read more

This was, by far, my greatest experience with an auto shop. Brian was friendly, knowledgable, and fixed my car in warp speed. It hasn't run this well since I've had it. I never do Yelp reviews, but I felt compelled to do one here, just because they are so amazing. I cannot give Duncan's a higher recommendation. This place was highly recommended by the Facebook page ORANGE BUZZ, I took my car there yesterday and I had the opportunity to meet the owner, I only had an oil change but they informed me of other issues with the car, but they did not over sold me or pressure me to get it done. I also did not have a ride to my office and Brian, the son gladly gave me a ride to my office in Orange. Went to Duncan to have a fan belt replaced, work was performed with no issues. When my daughter brought the car home, there was a big scrape and dent down the drivers side door, she did not see it while there as one of Greg's employees opened the car door for her when she got in. There is only 2 places this could have happened, work or at Duncan. We had security go over the parking lot video at work, and it did not happen there. Called Greg and he said it was parked near a wall and chain link fence. I know Greg is an honest man, but I'm not sold on other people that work there. I believe this happened at Duncan by of his employees. read more

I trust these guys with every car I have. When my family moved to LA, they drove the extra hours to bring their cars here My girlfriend's family recommended them to me and I have since recommended them to everyone I know. These are good people that remember you and your car and they care about how you specifically treat it (Whether that be cheap like me, or expensive like my dad) I tend to do most of the preventative maintenance on my vehicles but I know that when something goes wrong on my girlfriend's car I can send her in and all she has to do is let them know what's going on, they look at it, fix it and give us a fair price and a reason for all of the work. WE HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM HERE FOR 6 YEARS!!! One time, my girlfriend mentioned that I like to do the routine work on her car when they changed the fuel filter or something without asking first (it needed it real bad) so they took off $10 and they have always been so good about calling us ever since. I have never been more happy with a mechanic and will go here as long as I live in Southern California. read more

Like most, I normally hate dealing with auto mechanics, and I try to avoid them as much as possible. It's not easy to find a shop you can trust. Yesterday, however, I found this place on Yelp, and they have already made a loyal customer out of me. I needed an idler pulley replaced, and Brian quoted me a fair price, but I assumed they would inevitably find something else to charge me hundreds of dollars for, as most mechanics tend to do. Not at all. Duane replaced the pulley, told me everything else looked good, and charged me HALF of the original quote. Seriously. I rarely leave reviews, and I wish this didn't sound like an ad for them, but this was the best experience I've ever had with an auto mechanic.
