Soup dumplings and wonton soup
Kevin W.

Edgewater has a new dumpling spot and for a quick bite I highly recommend it! It may not be the best in town but boy it's close! 8 pieces for 12 bucks also hits that sweet spot and is cheaper than most places in the area. The filling is piping hot and umami filled. Each bite is filled with succulent pork and a bit of soy sauce and chili adds to the whole experience. The wonton soup is pretty one dimensional but also reminds me of my childhood where you would order a cheap bowl of wonton soup with your meal. Im not sure how long they will last here, but please support them while you can!

Service was immediate and friendly, we needed a Dumpling place in Edgewater, especially in the Public Market One is not able to see the kitchen or view how food is cooked, mostly containers in their "Dumpling Spot Kiosk." Menu is full exposed with pricing very clear and aside is a cold fridge with drinks. As to the Dumpling, I ordered the shrimp, it was a bit cold, not warm, the texture was not palpable, the shrimp truly appeared to be processed and molded. I can say my Service dog enjoyed the shrimp, possibly some would enjoy the various cooked meat dumplings, this was not a place I would return. Unfortunately, for I love the Edgewater Public Market Please review the menu for yourself given there are several choices which might fit others' sense of taste

The cucumber salad was absolutely delicious and a really good size portion for the cost! I also got the dumplings with chili oil on top and they were very tasty. The sauce was yum af! Anytime I'm in this area, I will pop back in for sure!

Soup dumplings have arrived at the food hall! Was very excited to see this open at Edgewater Market. I loooooove soup dumplings. I would say their quality is good but not din tai fung great- skin and soup are tasty. It lacks the traditional vinegar/chili oil, but they do have packets and a to-go sauce. Pig Bao buns were cute! Overall- a little pricey, and given it's a food hall, it's all packaged for takeout. Will be back next time I'm in the food hall though!

This little gem is located within the Edgewater marketplace where you can find an assortment of goods in theirfood hall. This particular spot has homemade dumplings, which are absolutely phenomenal and screamed of fresh ingredients. My son and I shared three different dishes, and all of them were exceptional. The standout were the shrimp and pork dumplings. The portions are right for the price, great value which is becoming rare.

Came for dumplings after working outside in snowy weather. I decided multiple wontons were needed. I got the wonton in chili oil (8 pieces). Their chili oil had a little heat, so I added a packet to enhance it. I also got 10 pieces of chicken wontons with mushroom, corn and ginger and a bowl of wonton soup. The soup was piping hot. I added an unsweetened oat milk matcha latte from another food concept, Saints & Sinners. Each kiosk at EPM uses the same ordering platform where you make your selections and pay for it. You provide your phone number so they can text you when your order is ready. It took about 10 minutes to get my order. Very fresh wontons. I joined their rewards program.

Beef scallion dumplings, pork and shrimp dumplings, and those cutie piggie egg custard things!

I found the dumplings here to be delicious! The beef scallion dumplings and chashu bao were the best. Friendly service and the pictures on the iPad menu were very helpful. My family and I love the ambiance of Edgewater Public Marketplace. It's nice to be able to mix and match food items. But this time it was all about Dumpling Spot and it was really good!

Frozen dumplings

Was both excited and disappointed when I found their dumpling sampler at my local Asian grocery store in the frozen section. Not sure about the other dumplings, but those are 100% frozen prepackaged.

Veggie bao buns were filled with bland cooked frozen spinach, I didn't see any other vegetable in it. Got my money back, but vegetarians beware.

We got the veggie bao. They were very bland. Liked the texture though. Service was fast, used the tablet to order on.

Chashu bao

I always visit Edgewater marketplace after pandemic, this place is fully with different types and choices, but as a Asian background you sometimes just want dumpling and bao, luckily Dumpling Spot opened! I'm so glad they opened a dumpling shop in the marketplace. If you never have dumplings, you must check this place out, no matter you like chicken or beef or pork, even veggie, they have all kind dumplings. Also the bao is definitely another good choice to have, Chashu bao is fabulous, the pork is mix with sweet BBQ sauce.

Harbor Dim Sum & Cuisine - braised pigeon

Harbor Dim Sum & Cuisine

Glad the dim sum carts were still around, so also ordered a few items since it has been a while since having dim sum last time. The braised pigeon here was of the Guangdong Zhongshan style, with crispy skin and tender and juicy meat, even the bones were kind of crunchy, bringing back the memory of the taste from yesteryears. For dim sum, ordered the shrimp rice noodle rolls, XO sauce turnip cake, steamed chicken feet in brown sauce and beef offal in stew. The rice noodle rolls were fresh from the steamer, with a soft, tender and slippery texture, not overly thick to be floury and not overly thin to lose its chewiness. Certainly one of the better rice noodles in town. The XO sauce turnip cake, steamed chicken feet and stewed beef offal were all a little spicy. With the signature taste of the XO sauce, the turnip cake did not need additional dipping sauce. The turnip cake was served in small cubes, with crispy and earthly exterior and soft interior, matching the savory taste of the XO sauce well. The chicken feet were tender, meaty and flavorful. Beef offal was aromatic, tender and chewy. A very satisfying lunch and no wonder it was quite packed in late afternoon.

Service is prompt and attentive which is not typically the came in Chinese restaurants. The servers are very fast and efficient. They pay close attention to details. We came here for the Dim Sum and ordered an assortment of dishes that satisfied my daughter's cravings for dumplings and noodles. They couldn't get enough of them so they must be good! The beef balls have great flavors but have stringy parts in the middle, which made it hard to chew. The beef noodles hit the spot with tender beef sliced and flavorful broth. Other customers ordered food from the main menu which looked so delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant if you want to impress someone with authentic Chinese food. In comparison to LA Chinese food, I give an 8/10 which is a high mark.

Uncle makes me want to move to Denver! To start the ambiance is really chill and inviting with warm lighting and offers countertop as well as table seating. Our server was amazing and explained the menu well and made some recommendations that did not disappoint. We ordered way to much food but I do not regret that because I got to try so many amazing dishes. Despite ordering so many options they even brought us a chilled tofu dish complimentary (no clue why but not complaining) and it was lovely! We shared the uncle salad (amazing!), thai shrimp, eggplant buns, several different nigiri/aburi nigiri and sashimi and the toro toro and spicy tuna roll. All of the sushi was fresh and had excellent pairing of accompaniments. The only dish that I remember being a miss was the soft shell crab buns. The proportion of bun to interior was off and there was way too much mayo. Everyone got their own ramen which they seemed to love. I ordered the Veggie Khao Soi per our servers recommendation and I am still thinking about it weeks later. It was a curry/ramen mix and had big chunks of trumpet mushrooms in it and the perfect amount of spice that I love. Denverites I am jealous you have Uncle and anyone visiting make sure to add it to your list!

If you're looking for a spot with undeniable vibe, Linger absolutely delivers. The ambience is…read moreeasily the star of the show--dim, moody lighting paired with some of the best views in Denver. On a beautiful evening, the open-air setup makes it feel like you've stumbled into one of the city's coolest rooftop escapes. It's the kind of place that makes you want to linger (no pun intended) over drinks and soak it all in. The staff also deserves credit--friendly, attentive, and clearly dialed into creating a great guest experience. Where things start to fall apart, unfortunately, is the food. The concept is ambitious: a globally inspired menu pulling flavors from all over the world. In theory, it should be exciting. In execution, it feels like too much of a good thing. Nearly every dish we tried leaned heavy--over-seasoned, overly sauced, and lacking balance. The most consistent note across the board? Salt. Not just a touch too much, but enough to overpower the actual ingredients. Instead of distinct, thoughtful flavors, many dishes felt like they were competing with themselves--bold sauces layered on top of already strong components, resulting in bites that were more overwhelming than enjoyable. It's the kind of menu that seems designed to impress, but ends up exhausting your palate. Linger nails the atmosphere and hospitality, making it a fantastic place for drinks, a date night, or to show off Denver's scenery. But if you're coming primarily for the food, it may leave you wishing for a bit more restraint and refinement. Great setting, great service--but the kitchen could benefit from remembering that sometimes, less really is more.
