26. Red Curry

Sooooo delicious! Surprised how slow it was despite being so good! Service was great since it was just my wife & I, but still appreciate the staff being so attentive! The place is super clean and bright. I forgot to take pictures so this is what was leftover after we ate. Curry was sweet (pretty spicy) and soooo delicious, and one of my favorite See Ew dishes yet!!! So happy to have found such a yummy thai restaurant in Denver!

Drunken noodles

Yay more Thai choices in the hood. This joint is family owned and very clearly is run by the whole family. We got take out a green curry and drunken noodles. I'd say it's on par. Nothing super stellar where I'd crave food from here but of all the Thai places in the hood they definitely do a good job of balance heat, sweet, sour and sweet. It tastes a lot more East Asian (saltier) than southeast Asian flavors. It's been a hot minute since I've been to Thailand so I don't remember what the flavors are like. Let's be real, every family cooks a little differently. I'm no in no place to be a food critic so I say give it a try! They're more homey cooking with your traditional idea of Thai American flavor profile. The curry was really runny into comparison to what I'm used to. Their heat levels are on fireeee. Not as spicy as US THAI. Would I go out of my way? No. If I was right by the Target and wanted some Thai? Absolutely this would be my place.

Terrible customer service.

There was chicken mixed in with the scrambled egg in my tofu pad see ew. When I called the restaurant, I was asked to text a picture to prove it, to an unknown number. When I asked for a credit on my credit card she told me she was so busy. Then hung up on me. I'm not texting my credit card to a strange number. This was my first and last time at this restaurant. ZERO STARS DON'T GO THERE.

Beyond thai serves my favorite somewhat hard to find dish and I had to try it! The flavor was on point! The noodle to chicken ratio was a slight let down. This place had a fair amount of take out orders on a Friday during lunch time. They were admittedly understaffed and overheard conversations regarding the staffing challenges with another customer while we were waiting to pay the bill. I'll be back sometime soon!

So amazing!!! I always get the Thai hot drunken noodles with shrimp and Thai iced tea. So good especially if you like spicy. Love the atmosphere and the vibe it gives. This is the best Thai place in town!!!

Pad Thai with crab/cream cheese wontons

I came here back in January 2022 to order takeout! There was only about a 15 minute wait and the restaurant wasn't very busy with dine in customers. The pad Thai was delicious, hot, and easily could've been 2-3 meals. They also threw in extra crab wontons for me that I didn't order :) I would definitely recommend and can't wait to try them again.

Not very good Pad Thai. Drenched in sauce and lacking complexity. Very spicy even though I ordered mild-medium.

Kao soi sauce was ok, but the noodles were so uncooked you can't even eat them. Really bad. Won't be back.

What is up with this place? This is the second time in a row I've been here when they're supposed to open and they're closed. The first time was around Christmas so I just figured they were closed for the holidays.

I was delightfully surprised when I…read morehad walked in early to wait for a friend was greeted by the girl running the clothing swap. Feels like this spot may always have something jiving! My friend and I arrived with laptops and left them closed. The whole place has an Elle Woods sleepover energy: pink-adjacent, unapologetically cozy, a little magical. We enjoyed our treats, caught up and people watched. And yes these are treats. There may be alcohol at other times; we were just there for coffee and tea, and the specials leaned floral. I had something built around orange blossom that drifted between citrus and honeysuckle, delicate enough to feel like a mood rather than a flavor. Lovely, if not exactly life-changing. But that's the point: Hello Darling pulls you in with its aesthetic and keeps you with its comfy, cozy seats. Definitely equally suited to a solo work session or a two-hour gossip spiral that was supposed to be a work session! Come for the drinks, stay because you forgot you had somewhere else to be.

Baked goods selection looked super yummy but I didn't give any a try this time! Even on a rainy weekday morning, the shop was quite busy. An empty table would be hard to find but patrons are also quite conscious of there being limited seating and kept visits short.

Even on a weekday morning, there was a gentle buzz of activity, yet we were pleasantly surprised to find a couple of open tables and no line at the counter. The friendly barista greeted us right away, and we were able to order our coffee drinks without any wait. While waiting, we took a moment to admire the pastry case and decided to share a beautiful pineapple Danish that looked too good to pass up. We settled into a cozy table by the window (the only small downside being the lack of outlets for working), and before we knew it, our drinks were ready. The coffees were served in the most charming handmade crockery cups, complete with lovely latte art. And I have to say--the latte itself was just as delightful as it looked: smooth, balanced, and perfectly crafted. The atmosphere immediately draws you in with its eco-conscious, Scandinavian hygge-inspired aesthetic. Think warm wood tones, soft natural light streaming through the windows, and thoughtfully curated, cozy decor that invites you to linger. It feels intentional and welcoming without being overdone. I also couldn't help but notice how dog-friendly the café is--from adorable bread-shaped dog toys available for purchase to water bowls set out for thirsty pups. It's clear they've considered every guest, furry ones included. One of my favorite features is the large garage-style front door that can open fully on warm days, seamlessly blending the indoor space with the front patio and making the café feel even more spacious and airy. For an intimate neighborhood café, there's a generous number of tables and seating options, along with a sizable menu offering plenty of food and beverage choices. I can easily imagine Hearth becoming a go-to spot for locals--whether for a quiet morning coffee, a casual meeting, or a slow start to the day. It's warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. I would happily return for another coffee (and maybe another pastry) again soon.

My sister used to go regularly when she was in school and let me know that the hours were super awesome for that routine - open at 6am, closed at midnight. Perfect for an early morning study session or late night cram. Or if you're just in the mood for all-hours coffee! Parking is admittedly a bit cramped in the front and pretty awkward to get out of if it's busy, but there is a lot behind the building with more space. There are a surprising number of tables and comfy chairs inside, and the vibe is kinda retro which my sister and I both really love. Their menu is pretty big and they also had a ton of holiday drinks to choose from. My sister has raved about the coffee they use (kaladi), so I got a drip coffee and since I wanted a little festive treat, I also got "the grinch" lol, which was a matcha latte with oat milk and pistachio. Take a wild guess which cup was mine in the photo. My sister got a hazelnut latte, which also came out really pretty. The coffees were ready very quickly, and we were able to find a little table near the back of the shop. Our three drinks (all 12oz) came out to about $16 which I think is pretty on par with specialty coffee drinks, so I felt it was worth the price. The one girl we interacted with at the counter was super friendly, too! It seems to be a very popular spot, which doesn't surprise me even a little bit, and I cannot wait to come back again to try other drinks!
