Multiple issues with catering order. Vegan items were not vegan. They charged full price despite not delivering what was ordered.

Simply excellent. I am so glad it is just in front of my building. Dumplings are just at a different level and the noodles delicious. I took food to go but the place seems quite friendly and definitely clean. read more

Came here for lunch with my boyfriend since it was really close to his place and he was curious. We ordered the wonton soup, braised pork belly Taiwanese bun, and three different dumpling dishes (pork and cabbage, pork and chives, chicken with Sichuan sauce). I thought the service was very friendly and the food came quickly. One potential problem is that they don't have wi-fi and I couldn't get data so that could be bad if you're in the habit of being on your phone while eating I guess? Food: Braised pork belly Taiwanese bun: My boyfriend and I thought this was pretty good. The meat was quite thick, and the taste I think is similar to others I've had in the past. Wonton soup: We liked the soup more. The wontons were a bit dry even with the soup and didn't have much meat. Pork and cabbage: I can't remember what exactly the called it on the menu but it was a potsticker. Had the least dry meat out of all the dumpling dishes. Pork and chive dumpling: Our favorite, in my case because I love chives. Not the best I've had, but it still tasted good. A bit dry, but I was okay with it because I usually prefer less oil. Chicken with sichuan sauce: A petite dumpling. The sauce tasted sweet to me and the chicken meat was really dry. To be fair, chicken is usually dry I think. Especially if there's a chunk of it all together. My least favorite of what we ordered. Overall, I think it was a decent dumping place. My boyfriend said 3 stars and I said 4, so compromise to 3.5 and round up to 4. read more

Posting again so everyone can see the glorious fillings of everything AND talk about the secret menu item... Chicken Kimchi Bun! This might be my favorite item from DD so far. Followed right behind with the pork belly bun. Be warned though, as the kimchi is spicy and for the average person might be too much for you! But it is amazing. read more

Dan Dan noodles is terrible, while Beef noodles soup is fine. Everything served in plastic containers, which is terrible.

The one star here is for their Bao which I thought was good. However this place has the word dumpling in its name and really the dumplings was not good. The first reason the filling of these dumpling is just OK and very mild in flavor but seem good quality ingredients and lastly the dumpling dough or wrap outside was just not good way too thick for me. Dumpling dough should be thin and feel like comfort food it did not feel like that. read more

Dumpling Daughter Weston should not have 4 Yelp stars. It is literally 50/50 on delicious vs just don't. Every steam bun(we tried every flavor option) is a globe of dough with a morsel of flavorless filling. Not well seasoned. Not worth it. The crispy noodles were definitely stale. The flavor of the donuts should be listed simply as grease. We took one bite and tossed the rest unfortunately. The wonton soup was just okay, but Lipton Ringos are better. The vegetable sides are all wonderful. Loved the sprouts. Green beans were fresh and not over cooked as was the bok choy. Scallion pancake was good. The Thai chicken bun was so delicious- chicken crispy and well cooked, tasty sauce. Dumplings were good, not the best, but worth saving for leftovers at least. Great staff who are definitely working their butts off to provide good service. I wish the food had more flavor overall. Glad we tried it, but I'll be sticking with the Trader Joe's frozen section. read more

Amazing amazing amazing. So yummy and filling, they use great ingredients (farm raised chicken) and the service is wonderful. You may have to wait a few minutes this place is popular. I got the chicken ramen and crab rangoons one day and scallion pancakes and pork belly the next. Immaculate, the rangoons are made with real crab and are sooooo good. everything is fantastic. read more

Cute spot in Weston. It was pretty consistently busy when we went around brunch time on a weekend. It's self seating so it's best if you have one person grab a table while the other orders. They didn't have soup dumplings when we went which was a pretty big bummer since that was once of the main things we wanted to try. Instead we got the pan fried dumplings. They're bigger than your average dumpling but they were a bit thick skinned for my taste. If the soup dumplings had thick skin, I wouldn't have liked it. We also tried the pork ramen and dan dan mien. They were just okay. I don't think I'd order them again actually. It definitely is Americanized and not so authentic which isn't a shocker given the location. The dan dan mien was too sesame flavored if that makes sense. I can't quite put my finger on what was wrong but I've had better. The condensed milk buns were good but is there anything in the world with condensed milk that isn't yummy? read more

Ummmm I cannot believe it took me so long to go here. I am sitting in the restaurant writing my review. That's how impressed I am. I ordered the 3 day pork ramen and the chicken and cabbage dumplings. A lot of food just for me but looking at the menu I just couldn't try one thing. I also got a mango bubble tea. Starting with the dumpling I ordered them steamed. So soft and flavorful. I honestly haven't had dumplings like this in forever. The ramen was beyond yummy. They added a few ribbons of ginger to the broth and it just takes the flavor up a notch. I really don't usually eat pork but the pork belly was so thick and soft. I had to take a couple of bites. I am so impressed I can't wait to come back and try the rest of the food. I don't usually drink milk bubble tea and so I was a little disappointed when mine came out and I hadn't realized it was milk tea but again it was extremely tasty not too sweet and the bubbles were just the right consistency. Super impressed!!! read more

So disappointed in this place! My husband and I got here after hearing rave reviews about it. The restaurant looks nice, clean, bright and promising. Unfortunately, the food was such a let down. We ordered the steamed chicken and cabbage dumplings, the petit dumplings, dan dan mein, organic chicken ramen and the mango bubble tea. The bubble tea was the only good thing we had here. The dumplings had too much dough, the filling wasn't tasty either. The petit dumplings tasted weird. The dan dan mein was too sweet and didn't have much flavor. The ramen was tasteless, neither the broth nor the noodles had any flavor. It's hard to leave a bad review about a place but we were super let down. read more

Food was amazing and great for sharing! Highly recommend the Braised Beef Beijing Noodle Soup. Very flavorful and savory. Dumplings aren't a bad choice either, but pretty pricy for a plate. Staff attentive, place was clean. Will definitely be back again read more

Cool little place to have in Weston! Right next to Brothers supermarket, it's a modern restaurant that is easy enough to get take out from, but intimate enough to dine in. They had some good tunes going as well, which is key when you're trying to keep upbeat in the winter. Good atmosphere, even though it wasn't that busy. Wish I could get a few drinks going here. Go on Weston, sort it out! I had a late lunch; wonton soup, followed by the pork dumplings. Good portions and it was perfectly filling. Washed down with a Honeydew bubble tea, and I'm a happy man. I'll be bringing a few people here and no doubt getting a lot of take out. Bon appetit! read more

Went for takeout today No problem with placing order or service-order was ready when promised and they are taking COVID precautions seriously. The food itself was just ok. We have been here before and it was much better-so not sure what was going on. The dumplings were super doughy and pale-almost uncooked in texture. Usually they have a nice golden color-these did not. The scallion bread was really hard and chewy. The vegetable spring rolls were very tasty and the Brussel sprouts are good but 12.00?? For such a tiny portion seems unreasonable. We try to support local businesses-but they are quite pricey for so so food. read more

I was excited to order from here because I have always had a good experience with them. I had never tried the Dan Dan Mein and the description looked like something I would like. My mother had snuck in a bite of my food however none of us realized it would be covered in peanut butter since it was not advertised anywhere on the menu and there was no option to put in nut allergy but there were places to check off if you had a dairy or seafood allergy. My mother is allergic to peanuts but luckily she only had a tiny bit and was fine. The beef Lo Mein had microscopic amounts of beef. The dumplings were fantastic!! They also give you a large amount of food!! :) read more

The restaurant is takeout only. The scallion pancake tofu roll is good, texture of the pancake is just right and the roll has a nice kick to it. The cucumber salad is too sweet. The pork and chive dumplings has a non-detectable chive flavor which is disappointing as Chinese chive is known for its bold flavor to offset the pork. read more

Dan Dan mien was eh. Beef noodle soup by far the best dish we had. Can make better fried pork and cabbage dumplings from a frozen package. Taiwanese baos were terrible. read more

Food was okay tasty but the portions were small and the prices were high. It looked like they were taking the bao bread out of a bag (not made in house). The dumplings had white flour skins like they had not been steamed and then fried-- just fried. You would need like 4 dishes for 2 people. So for a counter service type place you are paying $24 per person. It's too much. read more

Happy to see a decent Chinese place out in the 'burbs of Weston! The kids loves the chicken ramen and fried buns with condenses milk. The dumplings were pretty good and the buns were yummy. I've eaten here once before for a work lunch and eaten the takeout several times, also for work. The staff are helpful and courteous and the food is amazing! At my recent visit they didn't have a dish that I wanted, so they apologized and served my wife and me a complimentary order of one of their shrimp dumplings. Our favorite menu item: Coco's beef sandwich (fried scallion pancakes as the bread). Amazing! read more

Was in the mood for some dumplings, took yelp on an adventure and this location came up. The location wasn't hard to find off 95. There is a ton of parking spaces. The decor was very nice. We ordered the braised pork belly buns, steamed mixed vegetables dumplings, steamed petit chicken dumplings, steamed traditional beef buns and the grandmas Beijing meat sauce over spaghetti. The grandmas spaghetti is a must have! It has a very unique flavor and well seasoned. Meat sauce on top of spaghetti, you can't beat that. The pork belly buns are delicious too. The pork belly had so much flavor to it and it's so tender and thick! The buns were very soft like a sponge. The dumplings were ok. It needed more flavor and tasted frozen. The steamed traditional beef buns are good. The meat had lots of flavor to it. Their Thai iced tea was very good. Wasn't too sweet, it tasted perfect. Overall experience, decor was nice. Great customer service. Everyone was very friendly. Very clean restaurant. Kinda pricey. Would definitely come back to try the rest of the menu. read more

First time here. Brought the wife and two young kids. I really wanted to like this place based on the reviews, but had high expectations. Bubble teas (watermelon, taro, mango, lychee) were ok but you could taste the powder. It's hard to find a place that makes fresh bubble tea (e.g. with real strawberries or fruit). Fried rice was the best dish we had here, just a tad too salty. Butter Miso Noodles were the second best thing we ordered. Temperature just right, noodles were the right toughness and flavor good and not overpowering. Steamed roasted BBQ Bun was borderline bad, tasteless and dry both inside and out. Braised Pork Belly sandwich was ok. The pork could have been warmer when served. Three Day pork ramen was disappointing. Soup was good, noodles too soft, sides were decent . But to be fair, this isn't a ramen focused place. I'll give it another try with different items but won't rush to return. read more

The dan dan mein was bland. The pork shainghanese bun, though tasty, had just a little meat filling. The green tea matcha bubble tea was watered down. read more

Really enjoy this place. The ramen isn't as good as restaurants that focus on ramen, but it's still very good nonetheless. I used to come about once or twice a month. But, I'm a Newton residence and now that Weston has decided to ban non-residents from Cat Rock Park, I will no longer come to this, nor any, Weston restaurant or business. Since Weston doesn't want me coming to their town, I don't see any need to to support their local businesses. I'll boycott all Weston businesses, and let them know of my decision, until the ban is lifted. read more

When I heard about this place opening, I was mostly thrilled at the possibility of bubble tea 10 minutes from my house, so the food was just a nice bonus. Ramen and buns are two types of Asian food that I wish were better represented in suburbia, and I'm very happy with both at Dumpling Daughter. I'm no ramen expert, but I did just watch Tampopo and visit Japan for the first time so I at least feel qualified to say that the Three Day Pork Ramen was pretty good. And I enjoyed the pork bun and the five-spice tofu bun, although the golden fried buns (which are basically dessert) were too heavy for me. The dan dan mien was pretty good if a little plain, but I haven't had that anywhere else for comparison. The bubble tea was fine and $4 is an OK price. I also think their menu has good graphic design. read more

Not too psyched about this place- was really excited to spot it driving by because I've heard so many good things, however, my sister and I were disappointed and I'm out about $40 on a subpar meal... I first ordered a coconut bobba tea- which was legit the best thing I had here. I'd probably come back JUST for that. I asked the front lady what was the most popular items and decided on her response- that ended up being the pan fried dumplings and the 3 day Pork ramen.... the dumplings were good. Not anything I would go out of my way for- maybe like a minor step up above peeking raviolis that you'd get at a regular Chinese food joint. The 3 pork ramen was gross. I've had better ramen and was turned off. I took 4 bites and put it away. My sister got the petite dumplings and the steamed ones- steamed were good, petite were ok... once again- nothing I would take a trip for. Didn't make us want more than 1... and that's saying a lot for dumpling lovers... The spring rolls were really good but tasted very similar to ones that you get in the frozen box section at a Trader Joe's... over priced and a baby 3 star for me -- would have been 2 but that Bobba Tea is damn good. I'd go back just for that! read more

THEY SERVE FROZEN FOOD TO YOU. NOTHING IS FRESH!! I'm Chinese and I've been to hundreds of Chinese restaurants and this place is terrible and a scam. Their food is definitely bought in bulk in Chinatown then put in the freezer and microwaved for you and then overcharge you 10x the price. I ordered their "homemade" bbq pork bun for $6 and when it came out, I couldn't believe how terrible it was. It tasted like the frozen buns I bought from The supermarket at Chinatown. I am 100% certain that It is. I do not understand how this place has a four star rating on Yelp. I am almost certain most of these reviews are from family or friends of the owners. Please do not go. They obviously do not care about their customers with the quality they serve. Please do not give them your hard earn money. read more

Good texture for the pork buns. The dumpling soup was tasty, but I'm unsure what the goji berries were supposed to add. A fair number of vegetarian options available. read more

This is the most overpriced place I've been. Frankly, it's highway robbery that they charge $11 for a small bowl of noodles.

3 Star seems low it's really 3 1/2 but that's not an option lol. Fried dumplings are terrific and highly recommend them. The rice bowl I had in this day was not high enough for anything about a 3 Star. The rice was clumped up like it was old , (maybe sat around to long ?) it was supposed to be spicy and I didn't get any spicy what so ever. I will come back and hope the next dish is better , solid place to stop just not a 5 Star so far. Very clean dinning area and friendly staff! read more

I came here for lunch with my family. We ordered pork belly ramen, chicken soup, and dumplings. When I tasted the dumplings I was not sure if they were made in-house or bought at a mass supplier. My wife spotted the dough-rolling station on her way to the restroom, and removed my doubts. Now, I am not sure whether this is a testament to the high quality and fantastic taste of the dumplings I've bought from various Asian grocery stores, or an indication that this place needs a new chef. If your food's taste is indistinguishable from store-bought food, you just lost the right to sell it at restaurant prices. The pork belly ramen was seasoned only with star anise. That is all I could taste in any case. I know that star anise is usually paired with pork in Chinese cuisine, but I want to taste something other than liquorice. Please remove the word "ramen" from the menu in reference to this dish. This soup is not bad, but it has nothing to do with ramen. The chicken soup was bland. Please start seasoning the broth with something. In the age of slow-cookers were whole chickens can simmer for days with different spices, there is no excuse for bland broth. I really want to come back here and find flavorful food. Unfortunately, this was not what I found during my last visit. read more

We needed a quick dinner for two boys a couple weeks ago. Both got one of their chicken bowls and an order of dumplings (should have ordered 3). Delicious they said. Food took a little longer to get out than we would have liked but i am still Giving it five stars. read more

Overhyped and distasteful literally. The dumplings are more of the heavy dough kind. When you get dumplings with thicker dough you should expect 2 things: a very fluffy air space between the filling and the dough as well as the juices from the filling, especially if it is a meat flavored dumpling. I went here with my boyfriend and we got the panseared chicken and cabbage dumplings. This was an utter abomination to me. These were not tasteful but left a weird taste on my mouth. The 3 day pork ramen was nothing special. 3 days is far longer than 10 hours but you can tell the broth was using pork meat instead of pork bone since the color is brown and not milky white. The ramen was okay. The broth was light and the noodles were of good consistency by the pork it self was bland and had a steange odor to it. We had also gotten the five spice tofu baos. Which were supposed to be the braised pork buns. They placed the order in incorrectly but repeated the item that we requested. Which came out okay. Nothing special. Bland and flavorless. Everything aside from the cucumber being the only uncooked component was mushy. Lastly we got the glass noodles with cilantro and beef. This wasn't your traditional noodle salad. It came with clear rice noodles instead of typical sweet potato noodles. Theres a bit of spice but theres no flavor in there aside from vinegar. Thats the only place i could taste. And bubble tea, lychee and honey dew, were fails since they had a weird sour milk taste to it. not coming back. If you want authentic dumplings and snacks dumpling daughter should be the girl you avoid. read more
