Add a star after tonight! Everything was excellent but honestly the service could have been better. Considering the current staffing situation I have become more tolerant so that gets a baby pass.. The bacon bread! Crusty.. cheesy.. perfect saltiness.. just enough bacon.. Great! Kofte Kebap with that hunkar!! Tender clean flavored meatballs.. deep flavorful hunkar that accented the meat in the best way.. both dips were fresh and added an amazing layer to the dish! The pizza was simple and had an amazing crispy crust with the perfect amount of chew! The restaurant really has a nice feel to it as well. No tables were available so we asked to sit at the bar. They hostess asked the manager about bar availability and told us there was no seating at the bar. We happily agreed to wait but then the manager sat the people in line behind us at the bar seat we requested immediately after. Very disappointing. read more

Let's face it. We are in a pizza wasteland over here. And it's bot much better in New Orleans either. Duman brings it, however. Their Supreme is IMO the best pizza on the northshore, hands down, undisputed. If you want an app, get the garlic knots. After driving around Mandeville aimlessly on a Friday night, my husband and I stumbled into this little restaurant. We were excited about pizza but he was disappointed that their draft beers weren't available due to the weather and they were out of a few bottled beers. I settled for a glass of wine! Food wise it was decent not great. We got the mozzarella appetizer and it was nothing to write home about except the sauce was better than anywhere else. The pizza was really good and enough to share. Dessert wise we were disappointed and don't get anything. Overall a good experience! read more

One of my favorite pizza places. Their is crust is thin enough to where it's slightly crispy, but soft enough to not be over done. They have a goat goat cheese pizza with walnuts on it, which is an interesting topping, but we really enjoyed it. I also really like the vibe of the restaurant, it's got an industrial/ vintage decor and the string lights hanging from the raptors are very cool. I don't live in the Mandeville area, but I like to frequent this place when I'm in town. read more

First time at Duncan. Love the decor. Came on a Thursday night and they were running light on staff. We ordered the shrimp Florentine casserole as a starter. It was amazing. Next we had the meatball calzone. Nice sized portion and great flavor. They serve wine and beer, no full bar. Great place for the money. The staff worked hard despite running a little short. Great food! Great service! Our family of four had cauliflower steak appetizer, small pepperoni pizza, arugula salad, shrimp Florentine, a calzone and cauliflower crust arugula pizza. My wife had a martini and I had a glass of Natura organic red wine. Everything thing was spectacular. The only reason it doesn't get 4-5 stars is that the music was way too loud and everyone at the table was freezing cold. Fix those two things and I'm thinking there might be a 25-30 minute wait 5 nights a week. read more

Nice atmosphere, food was pretty good, all was going fairly well till we got the check for our lunch. My husband had ordered a cauliflower crust pizza. When placing the order he asked the waitress how many toppings were included, she said he could choose as many as he wanted. He got all of the vegetable topping options. When the bill came, each topping was a $2 charge and turned a $12 pizza into a $30 pizza. We called the waitress over and said we would pay the bill, but a $30 pizza-before we could say more, she cut us off and said it says the price on the menu (obviously we missed that when we asked how many toppings were included). She was so quick to cut us off and come back with it's your own fault that I had the distinct feeling we were just two of many people who have had this issue. I still don't see where it clearly says $2/topping when looking at the online menu. Very disappointing. This place is close to home and we were envisioning making it a routine lunch stop. $64 lunches are a bit steep and we'd prefer a meal without attitude on the side read more

(had a few extra ingredients in a normal pepperoni pizza but was great) Enjoyed the decor and colors of the place and it has a great location. Though the decor is nice, the environment wasn't to our liking. We never felt very comparable, especially when the background music stopped playing (we were there with only one other occupied table). It's very open...pretty much just tables in a rectangular room. The entire meal we were cognizant that we were sitting in a room eating...not sure if that makes sense. I usually get lost in conversations and enjoy the food in front of us. But that night, I felt out of my element and awkward. Nevertheless, it's definitely worth the try based on the food. I love this restaurant! The food was superb! I brought my 3 young children with me and they also loved the food. I ordered a cheese and charcuterie plate for the adults and some cheese bread for the kids. I had the arugula salad and the prosciutto pizza. The crust was so delicious! This is not American style pizza, but is more in keeping with old world pizza with fresh water mozzarella, pancetta, prosciutto, kalamata olives, etc. and a thin crispy crust that is delicious.
