The customer service that my wife received from the cashier Cecilia is very appreciative. My wife had placed an order through DoorDash for a birria plate with consome . She has gotten this before, but it was not made correctly and she wanted to make sure that they added the correct Items compared to last time. Cecilia was very proactive and she made sure that the order was correct this time. My wife wanted me to leave a review because she felt that her opinion mattered and she felt that she was listened to. She emphasized that Cecilia thanked her for bringing this to her attention and that she would let the owner know. The only reason why it's not five stars is because her staff doesn't know the correct items that are supposed to be on the plates as they are different from the DoorDash app compared to in person. Delicious tacos!! I ordered a crispy chicken taco and it was so good! Crisp shell, abundant toppings and perfectly cooked chicken. I also ordered a super steak taco, which while it was good, it was also very messy. The shell broke immediately and all of the toppings fell out. They put beans in it which compromised the integrity of the taco shell, so I had to eat it with a fork. I am not a fan of beans on tacos for that exact reason, tacos should be handheld not eaten with a fork (in my opinion). Still it was good, but the crispy chicken taco was my favorite. My husband ordered a ceviche tostada and he was a bit disappointed with it. I'd suggest sticking to the tacos. read more

I tried their Al pastor, chicken and asada tacos and all were great! I love how they also have ice cream on top of the other antojitos. Side note: We were by their other location in WC on a Tuesday, and after reading they have $1.50 taco Tuesdays we wanted to stop by. We figured they would be super busy but still decided to stop by. This location is in a very busy plaza so parking was hard to find. The environment overall was just different from the Bay Point location. I hadn't read many comments until after leaving, but I agree that the salsa bar placement is very confusing when trying to make line to simply order. I doubt we will try going there again and just stick to the Bay Point location. read more

I love this place and have been coming for years. But their chips taste like Fabuloso- the cleaning solution. I thought it was a fluke a month ago when I ordered but I noticed it again last night and had my whole family taste to make sure I'm not insane. I'm not sure if they clean the chip bin with Fabuloso or if the chips are just porous and soak up the smell but it was pretty bad. 2 stars just for the chips. 5 stars for everything else read more

i meant to order 4 quesabirrias and instead they gave me 4 birria tacos. then when i came back to exchange them and pay the $4 difference, they did not want to throw the food out or help us out with our order. when we finally convinced them we paid the difference and they took the food back. when we received the new bag of food and got home, we realized they just took the old tacos and fried them without adding consomé or making a whole new order. will not be eating here again. also the mango smoothie was ass and the strawberry smoothie was warm AF. read more

So, on a good day their tacos are really good but my issue with them is 1) their inconsistency with the quality food. One day it's fresh and another day the meat is hard/stale. 2) their tortilla chips taste like cleaning solution. This has happened almost every time I've ordered food from here. The boyfriend and I had a delicious affordable dinner here. Can't believe they're still doing $1 tacos in 2021! They offer Carnitas, Al Pastor, Chile Verde, Pollo Deshebrado, Chicharrón and Buche for their meats. They're all pretty solid, especially considering what you're paying. door dashed this place for some nachos and a burrito. the nachos plate was huge and came with plenty of toppings. of course with any nacho, after a while it gets soggy from the toppings so thats expected. came with guac sour cream pico beans cheese and we chose al pastor. luckily the burrito came with chips so we used the fresh chips to finish off the toppings because the remaining chips were just too soggy. the burrito was a pretty good size too. very standard in filling with bean cheese rice sour cream pico. chose lengua which was tender. big portions and flavors were decent. it satisfies the craving when you want something more authentic than taco bell. food came within 35 minutes. read more

Love coming to this place and the food is great HOWEVER, there is some serious management and help needed. Each time I go the ladies in the front looked like they have been worked to the max. Only about 2 know English and a few help out. Today I saw this poor lady (had glasses) running around back and forth helping customers and taking orders in person and over the phone and giving out orders while the other lady was sitting back looking confused. This is one of my favorite places to go to for a quick, nearby stop for Mexican food. Their shrimp and grilled chicken quesadillas are so good. Filled, flavorful, cheesy with a slight char on the tortilla. I also love their juices, they make it fresh there. Sometimes I come in for taco Tuesday, which is a solid deal, tasty and they offer a lot of options for meat. The ambience is simple and inviting. I've always been served with a lot of hospitality and warmth. They are also pretty quick with getting orders out. Every time I go in, people are eating the plates, so I wanna try that next. The other day, I DoorDash something to my friend and they did a great job with packaging the meal. They even added a few types of salsa. My friends said the shrimp quesadilla and the churro con cajeta were amazing. That made me happy! read more

Super excited to try a new area that I haven't even to before. I tried the super nachos with carne asada. They were really good and came with sour cream and guacamole. This place is a hidden gem right on the cusp of unincorporated Bay Point and Pittsburg. Let me start by saying their pozole ($10.99 for 32 oz.) on a cold winter day is so fulfilling and satisfying, I want to relive the moment all over again. Their menu does not disappoint. Last night I order food through DoorDash, my husband went in to grab the food, when he told the two ladies in the front that he was picking up a order under my name "Ariana" they proceed to ask him over and over again if he was saying the right name, which he proceed to say my name over and over again, at this point he's getting frustrated cause why do they have to ask so many times if the name is right, they proceed to talk about him in Spanish assuming he didn't understand them, they also were staring at him and laughing at him cause of the way he pronounced my name ! Another thing the food was at least a 4.5 the rice & beans were alright & the pupusas were good just really greasy, the only reason why I'm giving it a one star is because of the staff that decided to be rude for no reason all because my husband pronounce my name different then them. A Mexican juice bar, taqueria, and snack shop right next door to Safeway. I like that the juices are fresh squeezed and are literally just the fruits and veggies, not watered down with ice, no sugar added. Breakfast is served all day. I wanted to try their chilaquiles but got a burrito instead. I have been here twice and both times they got the order right. I wanted black beans in my burrito instead of refried and Mr. Jenbert doesn't like beans in his burritos, and that was exactly the way our burritos came. They were also good at explaining the menu to me and answering my questions. It's a good, diverse menu, though not as extensive as some other places, but that's also because they serve juices and snacks. Flavors are spot on and great customer service to boot! read more

Have visited this place twice and both times this place has been filthy, from the tables, food station, bathrooms, floor, windows, and door. I decided to take photos , on both occasions the place wasn't busy and the two employees have seem to grown immune to the filth. There was dried up juice on the floors not a single table clean and just overall filth throughout the whole restaurant. Had a good experience with this place. Walked in with a buddy of mine on a Tuesday which they serve Tacos for 1 dollar which i thought was awesome. Greeted by friendly staff cannot complain at all i felt welcome and to be fair i took longer than usual wheb i order because well i wanted to try something different other than what i always order which is your usual street tacos or a super burrito or Quesso Birra tacos. I ordered 5 chicken tacos because they were our of Carne Asada tacos. Also i got the fajita shrip dish which comes with rice and beans and just fresh vegetables very delicious. NOW.... the tacos seemed small but hey for 1 dollar im not going to complain just warning you dont expect them to be big. Ill tell you what is big though was that Fajitas dish holy moly i thought i ordered too much while my friend only had 2 tacos he ordered. Seating is not that bad just imagine a walk in business size plenty of room and what i like is they bring your food to your table. Got a burrito and while I was waiting, the person handling the to-go food orders was sweeping and wiping up dirty surfaces, while grabbing food and putting napkins and utensils in the bags without switching out her dirty gloves from cleaning. Not only did she not switch out her dirty gloves, she wasn't handling food well. She punctured a hole in my burrito with her dirty gloves. I didn't see it until I got home and ended up throwing it away. What a waste. Scary to think about how they might be handling food in back of the kitchen when people aren't watching. read more

My first impression of this place when we got here: Wow! So many people.....it must be good. As we got seated and looked around closely, i was like.............cleanliness questionable. There was a lot of tables not clean. Ordering was easy cuz we already know what to order based on what we saw on Yelp. After we ordered.......25 minutes later, still no food yet. I'm thinking to myself, what's taking so long. Another 10 minutes later, we see our food ready on the counter and no one available to serve it to us. I really think they can use more help. When we finally got our food on the table, there was no plates, spoons, forks available. When I got up to ask for an extra plate, the lady went in the back and disappeared. I didn't want them to forget about us so I remained standing and patiently waiting until she returned 5 minutes later. By this time I wasn't sure if I should be mad or feel sorry for them. Mangonada: Way too much Tamarind sauce and mangoes are not fresh they are frozen. Mangoes are not sweet, they are sour. I love Mangonada and ordered them at other locations many times before. Nachos: Stale and soggy chips. We are completely disappointed. Super Chicken Burrito: Big in portion but Tortilla/wrap is too hard and burrito not wrapped tightly, has no flavor......majority beans. No guacamole or sour creme, yet we paid for it. (Sigh) no use complaining at this point. It's up to you to try this place, others had great experience eating here. I have ordered here a few times off grub hub and they never seem to disappoint me. The first time I ordered I got 1 fish taco and the shrimp cocktail. They delivered withing 30 minutes which was really quick considering it's through GrubHub. When I got my food the taco was still hot and the shrimp cocktail cold like it should be. I've had some good mexican food but since moving to Concord I haven't found a place that has the flavor I've been use to getting back in San Jose. Let me tell you the shrimp cocktail is still by far the best here I've had in the area. They were not stingy with their portions it had a lot of avocado, cucumbers and lots of shrimp. The flavor was just right, it came with crackers but I usually like it with their chips instead. As for the fish taco it was so good, lots of flavor and the fish tasted fresh.
