    Refreshing michelada

Ideal location away from it all and nice staff. Server was very welcoming and bartender took great care of us. The michelada was great, tacos came out quick and tasted good. Lots of space and I'm looking forward to coming back when I'm in town.

So the restaurant is actually pretty nice looking inside. The service was pretty good too to be honest. It took a very long time to get any drinks after we ordered them. The food was good portions, but a lot of of it was very greasy, and the shrimp we ordered that were supposed to be lightly breaded or heavily breaded and super overcooked. They had a pretty good deal for two people. I would probably try this again with maybe just my wife, but I don't know if I would bring a larger party there again. There was only seven of us. The tip was included in the bill. I'm glad we checked that.

We wanted something local. Hadn't had Latin cuisine in a while so La Piñata it was. Excellent service, greeted with a smile and seated quickly. Chips n Salsa 4.8outta5 I liked it, chips could've used a dash more salt & a little more heat in the salsa would've been perfect. Good overall Mariscada/Grilled Seafood -Prawns, octopus, calamari, scallops, fish filet, green mussels, crab legs & clams served with fresh fruit, garlic & hot sauce. 3.8outta5 It was good but I didn't care for the presentation. The filet covered the plate causing the avocado to melt. I'd also prefer whole crab legs instead of the chopped pieces. Everything was cooked nicely. The garlic & hot sauces are always delicious. The chimichanga was a hit! It was thoroughly enjoyed. After a long week it was the perfect wind-down meal. Nice atmosphere, music just right & perfect margaritas!

this amazing Mexican restaurant serves fine dine Mexican, and it has its its own small parking lot. it is best for inside dining, to get the whole vibe of this spot, but i also do takeouts all da time even though this review is specifically about my tacos, the whole meni is solid, from the burritos, to traditional mexican dishes, to its beer and alcohol selection. customer service is great all the way throughout as well

Food delicious. Great waiters. Ambience fits the theme. But.....if you're 5ft 3 in. tall. DO NOT!!! I REPEAT DO NOT even try to make your way to the bar. You gotta be 6ft 5 in. tall to sit on them bar stools!!! lol Cause you gonna need a parachute to get down from them joints!

Burnt up 2nd order of over cooked pescado! WTF!!

I must admit I was jealous of her tacos as they were still unbroken after removing them from the wrap they're served in because it seems every time I've ordered their crispy tacos the shell always breaks open and splits at the bottom. Very disappointing. The taco salad was very tasty with all of my favorites included. We enjoy eating here and my only real complaint is their carne asada soft taco that comes filled with whole pinto beans besides the meat. I don't understand this and to me it really doesn't add to the taco. I didn't know they served them like this or I would have requested no to the beans and I love whole and refried beans, but not in my tacos! Their restaurant is colorful with wonderfully painted or printed images of Mexican life. The staff always seem quite friendly and they are usually very busy. Plus they serve carveza! Their salsa bar doesn't do it for me though, whats supposed to be their mild, Pico de Gallo is too liquidity and as much as I use to enjoy spicy food my 68 y/o body just cannot tolerate it anymore, especially on the way out one day I hope to order their anaconda burrito to share with some friends

The food? Bam! Nailed it. Carne Asada Super Burrito was a gut bomb but soo good. The green salsa had a great kick to iy and the red sauce was super flavorful. I love this place, but this visit absolutely sealed the deal all over again…read more We ordered the carne asada super burrito and it was perfection. It was packed with flavorful, juicy meat and had the ideal ratio of beans, rice, and cheese -- every bite was balanced and satisfying. No skimpy filling here. Just a beautifully built burrito done right. The chips and guacamole were just as impressive. The chips came out hot, thin, and perfectly fresh -- that light crisp that shatters just right. The guacamole tasted bright and fresh, clearly made with care and real ingredients. We also tried the pastor torta, and wow. It was loaded with tender, well-seasoned meat, and the bread was soft, fresh, and toasted perfectly. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside -- exactly how a torta should be. Every component worked together so well. And the piña agua fresca? Super fresh and refreshing -- the perfect complement to everything we ordered. We come here often, but this time we switched it up and tried the burrito -- and it did not disappoint. This is easily one of the best taquerias in town. Consistently delicious, generous portions, and clearly made with pride. We'll definitely be back (soon!) to try the quesabirria. So grateful to have a spot like this in town.

This is an update to my previous review. I really wanted to continue supporting this establishment…read morebecause it's conveniently located and the food is good, but unfortunately the last few visits have been disappointing. I usually call my order in ahead of time, but yesterday a gentleman answered, put me on hold, and never came back to the phone. I ended up driving there and ordering three super carne asada burritos with no pico. The order was simple, and I paid $52. When I got home, all three burritos turned out to be regular burritos with only rice, beans, and meat. They were missing the ingredients that make them "super." I immediately called the restaurant, and the girl at the front--who already knows me because we're regular customers and we've had previous issues with incorrect orders and her attitude--answered the phone. Instead of apologizing or trying to resolve the issue, she became defensive. She told me to bring the burritos back, but it was already late and I wasn't going to drive back out. She then said she was going to check the security cameras to see whether the cooks had added the ingredients, which made me feel like she was accusing me of lying. The problem wasn't just the incorrect order--it was how I was treated. Good customer service means listening to customers and handling mistakes professionally, not becoming hostile when someone calls about an order they paid for but didn't receive correctly. I hope the owner has an opportunity to see this review, as I'd like this feedback to help improve the customer experience. I truly wanted to continue supporting this business, but after multiple incorrect orders and the way this situation was handled, I won't be returning. My picture is below for reference.

Thank God for another meal, because this place definitely did not serve one made with care…read more The experience started off confusing before we even got the food. We pulled up around 12:50, and the sign on the door said closed, while the lighted sign said open. Mixed signals right away. We literally had to call just to find out if anyone was even there. I ordered a super burrito wet, half green and half red sauce. I was told what it came with, but when I got the food, key ingredients were missing. No real sour cream, no proper pico de gallo, and barely anything that made it feel like an actual super burrito. I also ordered another super burrito and asked for ranchero meat, because that is clearly something they sell there. If you sell ranchero tacos, then obviously ranchero meat exists in your kitchen and should be an option in a burrito too. Instead, the burrito came in a box looking like they already knew it wasn't put together right. When I got home and opened it, I was honestly disappointed. The photos speak for themselves. This was not a super burrito. It was a sloppy tortilla overloaded with rice and meat, with almost nothing else inside to balance it out. No beans, barely any vegetables, no real pico, and no care in the way it was made. It looked like somebody just stuffed whatever was easiest in there and called it done. And before anyone tries to say I didn't ask for certain things, you can literally see tiny pieces of tomato in there, which shows some kind of veggie mix was supposed to be part of it. But overall, it was still mostly just rice and meat. That is not what people expect when they order a super burrito. The wet burrito was just as bad presentation-wise. It should have been smothered properly, with that melty, flavorful, put-together look. Instead, it looked rushed, sloppy, and halfway done. Even the cheese on top looked like it was thrown on without any effort. This whole meal felt like it was made with no pride. Confusing service, missing ingredients, weak execution, and burritos that looked more like a struggle meal than something worth paying for. Grateful to have food, always. But I would not come back for this. Here's a shorter, sharper Yelp version too: Pulled up around 12:50 and the sign said closed, but the open light was on. We had to call just to see if anyone was there. That should've been the first warning. Ordered a wet super burrito, half green and half red, and another super burrito with ranchero meat. What I got was a sloppy mess. The photos speak for themselves. These were not super burritos -- they were mostly rice and meat stuffed into a tortilla with missing ingredients and no care. No real pico de gallo, no beans, barely any balance, and the wet burrito looked rushed and poorly finished. The cheese on top looked thrown on, not melted and smothered the way it should be. One burrito even came in a box looking like it had already fallen apart. If you sell ranchero tacos, then ranchero should clearly be available as burrito meat too. No excuse there. The places was alone for it to be lunch hour . Not a lot of people Overall, this food looked and tasted like it was made with no pride. Grateful for the meal, but definitely not worth the money.
