Amazing. Great customer service and delish food. Always very nice and helpful pick something if you aren't sure

Las Tres Maria is one of our favorite places to eat! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and served hot, with generous portions that never disappoint. Every dish we've tried has been delicious. The service is just as impressive. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always makes us feel welcome from the moment we walk in. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect and treat us like family! The atmosphere is warm, clean, and inviting, making it a great spot for a family dinner, date night, or a meal with friends. Thank God for another meal, because this place definitely did not serve one made with care. The experience started off confusing before we even got the food. We pulled up around 12:50, and the sign on the door said closed, while the lighted sign said open. Mixed signals right away. We literally had to call just to find out if anyone was even there. I ordered a super burrito wet, half green and half red sauce. I was told what it came with, but when I got the food, key ingredients were missing. No real sour cream, no proper pico de gallo, and barely anything that made it feel like an actual super burrito. I also ordered another super burrito and asked for ranchero meat, because that is clearly something they sell there. If you sell ranchero tacos, then obviously ranchero meat exists in your kitchen and should be an option in a burrito too. Instead, the burrito came in a box looking like they already knew it wasn't put together right. When I got home and opened it, I was honestly disappointed. The photos speak for themselves. This was not a super burrito. It was a sloppy tortilla overloaded with rice and meat, with almost nothing else inside to balance it out. No beans, barely any vegetables, no real pico, and no care in the way it was made. It looked like somebody just stuffed whatever was easiest in there and called it done. And before anyone tries to say I didn't ask for certain things, you can literally see tiny pieces of tomato in there, which shows some kind of veggie mix was supposed to be part of it. But overall, it was still mostly just rice and meat. That is not what people expect when they order a super burrito. The wet burrito was just as bad presentation-wise. It should have been smothered properly, with that melty, flavorful, put-together look. Instead, it looked rushed, sloppy, and halfway done. Even the cheese on top looked like it was thrown on without any effort. This whole meal felt like it was made with no pride. Confusing service, missing ingredients, weak execution, and burritos that looked more like a struggle meal than something worth paying for. Grateful to have food, always. But I would not come back for this. Here's a shorter, sharper Yelp version too: Pulled up around 12:50 and the sign said closed, but the open light was on. We had to call just to see if anyone was there. That should've been the first warning. Ordered a wet super burrito, half green and half red, and another super burrito with ranchero meat. What I got was a sloppy mess. The photos speak for themselves. These were not super burritos -- they were mostly rice and meat stuffed into a tortilla with missing ingredients and no care. No real pico de gallo, no beans, barely any balance, and the wet burrito looked rushed and poorly finished. The cheese on top looked thrown on, not melted and smothered the way it should be. One burrito even came in a box looking like it had already fallen apart. If you sell ranchero tacos, then ranchero should clearly be available as burrito meat too. No excuse there. The places was alone for it to be lunch hour . Not a lot of people Overall, this food looked and tasted like it was made with no pride. Grateful for the meal, but definitely not worth the money. read more

I picked up a combo but it was super skimp . It's sad times are hard. Nice place to eat in though

Cutest little hole in the wall that's bigger once you step inside than you would even have expected. Staff was super friendly and attentive! Our food came out in record time and was actually delicious! Believe it or not it tasted even better than it looked and it looked really good when it arrived. I ordered the cheese enchiladas and they were some of the best I have had In the Bay Area. Sadly most people can't even make a cheese enchilada but this place made it perfect! I can still taste that delicious sauce on the enchiladas. My hubby got the chicken quesadilla and although it looked very simple he said it had great flavor. We will come again soon! read more

My family and I have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years and they never fail. They managed to always stay affordable and have great portions of food. They are a staple in my family. My favorite dishes are their dinner special (Chili Verde burrito and a chicken enchilada with verde sauce). They are family and they treat their customers like family too! It always feels like a part of home. read more

Las 3 Marias Restaurant 2734 W Tregallas Rd Antioch, CA 94509 Dear Owner, I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I recently received at your restaurant. I have been a loyal customer for years, but my latest visit was very disappointing. The food was served cold, and when I brought it to the waitress's attention, she responded with a bad attitude and argued back instead of helping. It was clear she did not care about the customers or their experience. I strongly suggest that you retrain your staff on customer service and professionalism. I have always enjoyed coming to Las 3 Marias, but because of this poor experience, I will not be returning unless the service improves. Thank you for taking the time to address this matter. I hope to see positive changes in the future. And this how management responds still arguing What a disappointment. read more

What an oasis in an otherwise average strip mall!! Such a cool vibe inside! The staff was incredibly friendly. The food? Absolutely delicious!! I had a Torta carnitas and I didn't leave any leftovers!! It was the perfect meal after a beautiful hike at Black Diamond. My girlfriend had Camarones a la Diabla. She loves super spicy food and this dish was right up her ally (she didn't leave any leftovers, either). Needless to say, we are very much looking forward to our next visit! read more

This is the absolute best Mexican food restaurant in all of the East Bay. ALL of the employees are super nice and their chef is amazing. If you need an authentic mexican meal this is the place to go. Best item they serve in my book is anything made with their chunky beef. read more

Delicious carnitas tacos. The carnitas was crispy and just the right amount of saltiness that made you want more. The taco shell was crunchy and didn't get soggy (pickup order). The bean dip was perfectly savory and cheesy. Worth all of the calories. The ladies that assisted us with our pickup order were super friendly and welcoming. I'd 100% go back. read more

We've been coming for a few years now and this is still our favorite Mexican restaurant. The people that work here are truly kind and incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food is top notch. If someone asks what I like off the menu I just keep listing things because everything I've tried has been delicious. The fajitas are amazing, the chicken and rice soup leaves me day dreaming about it. The nachos are the best deal around and so savory, and the enchilada sauce might honestly be the best I've ever had. I hope nothing about this place ever changes, we just love them here. read more

Family owned restaurant in my opinion has the best Mexican food in Antioch. They always ask about my mom and the food is prepared quickly. Tip: Order a potato taco! These are so yummy. Also a super burrito is perfect for 2 meals or sharing with a friend. I normally order either a Super Chicken burrito wet with whole beans. OR Chicken soft tacos We usually take our food to go every Sunday - but for a treat we eat there. read more

LOOKS ARE DECEIVING! So I had ordered from here yesterday for my family. I was not at all impressed with the food. My order was 2 steak fries a wet and dry super burrito. First off the steak fries were about $14 after taxes and it had more toppings then steak and fries. There was more lettuce, tomatoes (not pico), crema and guacamole. The fries were soggy as hell and the steak was sparse. The super wet and dry burritos are about $11 and they were not super at all they were regular size burritos with way more refried beans and rice (I did not order extra). Now I am wondering if the regular size burritos are chimichangas? The only reason why 3 Marias gets 2 stars because the flavor on the wet burrito was just okay and gentleman that took my order over the phone had good customer service. We do not appreciate paying high prices for mediocre and sparse food. read more

I've been there 2x now. And for 12 bucks, a super Carnitas Wet Burrito! Cannot beat the price - aslo its very flavorful, not too salty... seasoning done, right? Also they give you about 50% meat! Basically, every bite was a mouthful of meat! (To me, one of the main reason I liked or loved a place) If they added Guacamole or it came with it? Would be nice. But again, 12 dollars! I'll take this any day over fast food. I might have to take this over LA COSTA! read more

I thoroughly enjoyed eating here with my family a while back. I ordered the steak fajitas and the meat was extremely tasty. The flavor, the cook, the way they prepared it. It was very authentic and has a homey feel. They serve chips and salsa when you arrive and those were also excellent. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. The environment is unique and not cookie cutter at all. The decorations seem to be one of a kind, and it helps add to the experience of eating there. I am hoping to come back in the future because I miss all those flavors! read more

One of our friends said this place was amazing . We decided to give it a try for lunch today. I called and placed an order for pick up. The woman on the phone was super nice and helpful and answered all my questions . For our family of 6 , we ended up ordering menudo, 2 carne asada tacos , super carne asada burrito (dry), super shrimp burrito (dry) , super pollo burrito (wet) , and 2 kids rice/ bean /cheese burritos . Everything was packaged very well and made exactly how we asked . The restaurant was clean and everyone was very nice . The woman even offered to help me carry the food to my car because it was 3 bags . The food was good and freshly made . In total we spent $67 which for a family of 6 is very reasonable to us . It wasn't mind blowing amazing but definitely a good place to grab a burrito . The only thing was the kids burritos (rice/bean/cheese) is really for a tiny kid. It was the perfect size for my 3 yr old but too small for my 6 yr old . I mean , literally the length of the palm of your hand small. It was still very good but next time I know to order him a regular . Overall, We will be back forsure. read more

Love this place....Listen...don't question where to go....JUST GO HERE! .....I've been coast to coast as a Executive Chef, and when I found this spot....My god....The Camarones a la Diabla....I've been to 37 states, and I rate Latin places now according to IF they serve this dish, and then the quality....to this day, Las 3 Maria's holds crown on everything I've had. I am now sadly on the East coast back home and I'd kill to go there one last time and order everything. read more

My first time trying this restaurant and I got a shrimp super burrito to go. I was seriously disappointed! Just as someone else who previously reviewed, I grew up on authentic seriously flavorful Mexican food being a second generation native San Franciscan who also lived in Oakland for 35+ years. This burrito was as flavorless as you can get; nothing was seasoned...rice, beans, shrimp, not even the guacamole. On top of that the burrito was really dry overall from the tortilla to the shrimp. It was definitely not worth $14. I had a shrimp burrito from a truck last week for $10 and it was delicious...of course it was from a taco truck in Oakland. read more
