I'm an absolute sucker for churros. These are made to order, so you best believe that steam came out from the crisp, piping hot churro I bit into. The staff is pretty friendly and keep in mind it may take some time to get your order especially if there are lot of orders in. Since they are made to order, it takes some time to get the right cook. These people know what they are doing so I don't mind waiting some time to bite in. They have a few tables but not too many as a heads up. It's a nice casual drop in spot and packed well for to-go, so I picked them up and ate them while walking. I loved the texture, density, cook. I did get some cinnamon sugar clumping a little so had to dust it off to prevent eating a cluster (can be a little messy). Came here for the first time on Saturday, 6/13 in the evening and would not recommend. Ordered Dubai Chocolate Strawberries but they were not Dubai Chocolate. The chocolate was regular chocolate, not rich Belgium chocolate as Dubai Chocolate comes with. Could not taste the pistachio and instead just tasted like strawberries drizzled with milk chocolate. Not worth the $13. Mini pancakes were also ordered and was told it would take 15 minutes. Instead it took 30-40 minutes to be ready. Also, as I waited for my order to be ready, one of the staff was being rude to another employee because a customer moved a chair around when no one was around. I'm all about being nice to service workers and this made me mad that an employee was being rude to a coworker, in front of customers. I could just imagine was happens in the kitchen. The items I ordered was packaged in a paper bag. The items came straight out the fryer, since yhe whipped cream and ice were melting. I ate these items in the car. If I waited until I got back to my hotel, I would've ended up drinking my dessert instead of chewing it. The twinkies were soft and a little crispy. Brought me back to my very first fair and eating fried twinkies for the very first time. The churro sundae was to die for! The horchata ice cream complimented the churros very well. My friend doordashed this place for me since I was craving churros! And surprisingly they churros were still warm when I received them. The ice cream was a little melty but I put it in the freezer to eat later. My go to place for churro is Costco, but my daughter insist on getting it from an authentic place. We went in the afternoon and it was pretty empty. They have a variety to choose from, so I told my daughter to order anything she wanted. She ordered the churros with strawberry syrup. The lady said all the churros come with cinnamon. There's no dine in so we ate them in the car since it was still fresh. The churros had good texture and flavor but the syrup was way too sweet for me. Located in a quaint plaza and across from a 7-eleven is this hidden gem! The batter of the churros is quite unique in that the consistency is very chewy--almost mochi-like! Each churro is nicely coated with cinnamon sugar and not too sweet even after dipping into the lechera & cajeta sauce! I ordered 6 churros w/ 2 toppings (lechera & cajeta on the side), and added a single scoop of vanilla and horchata ice cream. Everything I ordered was all really good! And I absolutely love the fact that the churros are made fresh to order. With that said, the churros are best eaten right away, but I found them still nice and crispy on the outside and chewy in the inside even though I didn't get to indulge them right away. The pancakes are fluffy and moist. The churros are definitely the star. The perfect crunch with softness on the inside. The deep fried treats are both delicious. I think I just found my new favorite churro shop. We ordered the churro sundae with strawberry jam, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream. I asked them to put everything separately but you can ask them to drizzle the toppings on top of the churros. The churro was so crunchy on the outside but also very soft and fluffy on the inside. The churros came out hot. It wasn't super sweet with the sugar on top. It wasn't as dense as I expected which I also really liked. The churros were thinner than a regular churro but it was so good with the vanilla ice cream. This is the perfect dessert spot or if you are ever craving churros. Worst place to come!! Such bad service I don't even know what to start off with. If I could give this zero stars I would! We got here at 8:48pm and didn't get our order until 9:27pm. Mind you everyone that arrived after-got their order before we did. The cashier NOVA was so rude she literally threw our food at us after we expressed our concern about everyone else getting their order before we did. There was also a family of 3 and she literally gave another customer the family's churros and the father had to tell her that was his order. We walked out at the same time and they were shocked as to why she would do that and behave that way. I had asked to speak to her manager and she said with and attitude they were not around as if she felt intitled. I advised her that her attitude and demeanor was very rude towards us. The whole time she never acknowledged us or let us know that our order will be out soon, nothing!!!! It was our first time going and honestly I don't think I will be going back.
