Hardy always hooks me up. He makes sure my film gets back to me ASAP

This place made my day! Hardy, in specific, was beyond professional, sharing of his time and patience. While I was there, I saw one customer after another leave with a smile on their face. I can't wait to get my print back and frame it for Christmas! Thank you Hardy and the fine folks at Duggal for exceptional service...and might I add, kindness. read more

I'm loyal to Duggal because they're committed to getting me the product I want--after a printing mix up, they not only remedied the problem within hours, but sent me additional prints at no extra cost. A special shout out to Hardy Rosenstein for being a professional and helpful contact. They are a great team that do lovely work. read more

The people at Duggal are the highest of quality talent. In a world where cheap fast and not so wonderful photo prints have become the industry standard It is refreshing to see there is a place where quality is king. You won't get bargain basement prices but this a place where I wouldn't expect to. I have worked with Hardy for a very long tim, even before he was at Duggal. He maintains a high level of customer contact and personal service. This is another special quality of Duggals service. Don't expect fast and furious but you will be pleased with the outcome. read more

Just came back from Duggal, saw my images on prints from their new HD C-printer....AMAZING...The added detail (6100 apparent DPI) and color gamut really bring out the best of a well shot image. Been going to Duggal for 15 years and they are now at a totally new level. read more

In all honesty when a company tries to do right, i should be fair enough to report this. Duggal contacted me and noted that they have after my review made sure personnel is instructed to be aware of their attitude. They also offered me a discount in an effort to make right the fact that i wasnt able to attend the delivery to my client. I accepted their offer and thanked them for their positive actions. read more

Very slow and careless service ! If I knew that it will take 5 days to print my photos ( while thousands of places do it on the spot ) I would never waist my time waiting in line for 20 minutes and then look for someone to help another 20 minutes . For a pick up its a whole different story. If you come at 5.45 and it was scheduled for 6 don't expect it to be ready . And the best thing about this wonderful service was the astronomic price ! I didn't do the research in advance and had no idea, that pricing of this place is at least 3 times more than any other local print read more

no wonder they have only 2.5 stars. there's a reason. So before I came down to order prints (very simple, from cd to bigger photo prints) I call to check prices and see what I need to bring... They said to bring the CD and that's it. Get there, get everything set... Five or so days later I come to pick up the print.... once I got home to check the pics they were obviously WAYYYY over dark. Not anything near what I wanted, so I take the photos again ask for them to redo it... ok, pick up the pics again, check them at home since I was in a hurry... color is a little better, but still not what I wanted. and one photo had a stain on it. Went back 3rd time about how I am not happy. The woman that helped me was accommodating, but the other two people that "helped" me were HORRIBLE. Attitude was terrible, didn't care about me needs or trying to help me out. The so-called manager had the worst attitude ever, pretty much explaining things in technical terms when I have no idea what he is talking about. And you call yourself a MANAGER with that attitude??? Pretty much the MEN that I encountered there had bad attitudes. Never will come back... EVER!! pretty much more for their customer service. Plus they charge an arm and a leg. Instead go to Bunker or Fairway!!!! read more

I needed something done yesterday and Jeff Frankle came through and never missed a beat. Duggal is amazing I will always use them..... KUDOS

I was amazed by the excellent customer service of Duggal Visual Solutions. Emails were answered promptly even on off hours and the patience of the different team members was remarkable. Very encouraging experience when the situation calls for online work. Thank you Duggal. read more

Visited Duggal for a high quality print of a wedding portrait (8x10) to be framed. We were greeted friendly by Jim Braden and he took a good 30 minutes to guide us through the various paper and print options. He continued to suggest a few tweaks in PS to bring the full effect on paper. Definitely top quality customer service and stunning outcome. With that said, you pay for the quality. The services are not cheap but fair for a high quality professional photo service. I would definitely recommend Duggal for good products. read more

These guys have the worst attitudes, I would rather give my money to almost anyone else. I was dropping off something to be mounted there recently, I was not greeted by any one of the three grumpy dudes behind the counter and when I tried to explain what I was there for I was treated like a jerk and met with unnecessary attitude. read more

Really surprising, refreshing experience here. I already knew Duggal's quality was tops, but I didn't expect such great care and service. Jim Braden gave me and my work so much care and attention, and that goes really far with me. He's not only extremely knowledgable, he's also very welcoming and such a pleasure to work with. I came in for one thing, but now I want to do much more with these guys. Couldn't be happier. Thank you! read more

Atrocious customer service to say the least! I contacted them on behalf of our company on March 1 and spoke to Ashma. We wished to purchase a Duratran and a modified plexiglass sign (overall a sizable project), and told them that we needed the work done quickly. Not only did she rarely get back to me when I called and e-mailed her (one reply a week from her on average, some weeks no replies at all), but when she did she asked the same questions over and over that led nowhere. It has been almost 2 months and NOTHING on their end has been done. I am going to be looking to find another more reputable company to take my business to. read more

I've been processing my 35mm here for a while now (processing, scanning, printing etc). Jim and the rest of the staff have always been very attentive and helpful. Only 4 stars because the scans are a bit pricey, but they do great work. read more

fantastic printing, clean professional products, and right-on-time shipping - exactly what I was looking for! Duggal helped me capture one of my favorite photos from the NY Orchid Show into a 16x20 canvas art piece that I can now hang and showcase in my bedroom. I simply sent them my picture and within 2 weeks, they shipped me my canvas. Highly satisfied with the end result! read more

Duggal has always been the best in quality and customer service. Innovative team thriving to provide the best for their Clients. I do all our company's printing at duggal and they never disappoint with the work. Although you might be paying a bit more, but you are paying for quality and great service. I always learn a thing or two coming to duggal, thanks to their expert team. Keep going duggal read more

I sent some 120 bw film to be processed and scanned. When I received the scans, they were consistently filthy with dust and specks. It appeared as they handled the negatives poorly, to say the least. I'm not talking about one or two pieces of dust; I just can't imagine how a professional lab could get the film this dirty. I contacted the person there whom I dealt with twice, and twice heard they would get back to me. Never heard back. I will NEVER deal with these people again and I recommend if you have any work you don't want ruined, you take your business elsewhere. read more

i was recommend to come here by some friends for an apartment project i've been working on; this place has super knowledgeable staff and great insight to make your vision come true. From an idea that i've been thinking about for the past year, Duggal completed in a matter of days. This place really helped me bring my vision to life and it came out wonderful! Now my apartment has an amazing piece of art hanging in my living room! read more

I will leave out the endless ridiculousness from day one and cut to the gist. I went to DUGGAL to make a wall mural of a drawing I did when I was kid for my business, FITCURE. I was told it would take a week. I went into the store mid November and then took time to consider it. In December I put a $500 deposit down on what I was told would cost $1800 ish. I can't even begin to tell you the never ending lack of customer interest. Maybe it was the particular sales person, but as a business owner, the employee is a rep for the company who is ultimately responsible. Bypassing specs on regular policy of unreturned email responses and constant lack of communication (I began to just want to wait and see how long it would take to get a response at one point, letting no follow up from myself happen. It was about 2 weeks at one time and finally I received a response due to MY follow up), the job was finally ready for install March 12. (My deposit was given in December for a one week job...just a re). The installers were great. Knowledgeable. Unfortunately it was the Wrong SIZE! When they called the sales woman I dealt with, she begins to berate me for being wrong in my stance! Upon escalating my call I speak to management and, cut to the chase again, am told it will be redone. They'll just have to charge ME for the re do on extra size since the first one was wrong. Do you need to re read that? No you don't, that happened. The job was completed March 25. It looks pretty good. Sadly they don't know how to communicate the job they may technically know how to perform. They essentially waived the $500 deposit on the job. If this was my business, I would probably have done more for my customer, but that's how I do things. Maybe I'm a unicorn. If I were you, I would investigate other options and use them as a last resort. read more

After waiting perhaps ten minutes, Jim Braden jumped in to assist me. We discussed the process and appropriate options available at Duggal. Jim was patient, thorough and professional, even though I need just one color print of one photograph printed from my digital file. I work with a calibrated monitor, and my photograph on Jim's Mac looked identical in color, contrast, dynamic range and overall "feel". No, Duggal is not cheap--but I didn't come here for automated, machine-made prints. I look forward to seeing my finished print in two days, with archival mounting to follow. read more

I would go to my local print shop to have professional copies of my art work made. Where the local shop would charged $2.50 per scan to my computer. After the small shop closed I figured I'd go to the fancy studio. What a mistake. I was treated poorly.... Not at all professional, The work took three days to scan. The scan is unuseable. I was taken advantage of by what I would call smoke and mirrors. I could make a better scan on my home computer. The price and time spent on my part was a total waste...... read more

in the last couple of years i've gotten into the photography. i don't know, i suppose there's something super special about that snap of the shutter - quickly capturing a moment, allowing you to recall it forever. while some of these pictures end up being posted on facebook, most end up being stored on a drive, often forgotten. we live in a digital age where very little is tangible...i mean seeeriously - when was the last time you printed fotos?!??! that's why duggal is super rad. i took a foto of dandelions in a field several years ago and knew i wanted it to have more than some digital existence. i decided to get a canvas print and i'm so glad i did! duggal did a great job - the colors are super rich and vibrant, and it was delivered right to my door. i highly recommend their services! read more

This is where i get my film developed. They used to offer film back in the day, which would be nice and convenient. So one star off for not carrying it anymore. Some of the counter guys are A+. I had a bad first experience there, about four years back. When you get a film scan, and you ask for low-res "web quality" scans, do not expect them to be good enough to put on anything more than the Facebook side of the web. It was corrected with professionalism, however, and no issues since. read more

Hands down the most professional staff in midtown. They spent ample time explaining my options for photo printing. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. The photo expert printed samples at no extra charge and even did some editing to better fit the format I chose. The final result was perfect, and most importantly, on time. No wonder they're #1! read more

I sent Duggal a digital file of a photo from a recent trip to South East Asia. I wanted the photo blown up to a 20x16 inch canvas print. Duggal did an incredible job and I was very pleased with the results. Now hanging on my dining room wall, my photo of a Vietnamese child in Halong Bay gets a lot of love - both for the captured moment and for the framing. I would recommend Duggal for your printing needs and would certainly use them again. read more

I found this place from some professional connection, and I know they have good equipments and decent printing quality, so I had some expectations. So far I have spoken with 2 sales representatives, and in my opinion neither of them is a professional. They don't know the stuff they are doing. read more

I had some family photos from a recent reunion that I wanted blown up as a gift for my parents' anniversary, so I decided on giving Duggal a shot because of their longstanding reputation as one of the best in the biz. I was kind of on the fence about using them after reading some of the older reviews, but I am glad I went with my gut. What can I say? Great service, awesome work... overall, a fantastic experience. I noticed a lot of hustle and bustle in the place with really big brands and clients, and for them to treat me as if I had been coming there for years was really a breath of fresh air. Can't wait to go back again for the new job I need done... A+! read more

Fantastic personal service - especially from Jim. Superb quality work, and they don't make you feel unwelcome even if you're an amateur dabbling in film, or, like me, a semi pro playing with film out of curiosity. read more

New Edit: After my review, I was contacted by Duggal's manager. She has done everything to make me feel more welcomed and to perhaps give Duggal another chance, so I am giving them two more stars. Original Review: The customer service at Duggal is terrible. They don't even deserve a score. I went in to ask about the variety of papers available to make a couple of custom prints, and I was quickly brushed off while asking simple questions about the papers. Before I could even speak to His Majesty, I had to wait at the counter for fifteen minutes. When His Royal Highness returned, he decided to instead help the customer behind me and completely ignore the fact that I had stood there waiting for him. I left feeling disgusted. I asked a friend whose company had used Duggal in the past about her customer service experience, and she said that they had moved their account to DePicture, which she said has great customer service. This is the first time I have ever written a Yelp review. I just couldn't help but write one after that experience. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I'm fairly new to being a full time artist, and I stopped by to learn about their giclee (aka fine art) printing and framing services. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was warmly greeted by the receptionist. When I explained I was totally new to the world of fine art printing and what I needed, she picked up the phone and called one of their reps, Danielle, to come and speak to me. Danielle clearly and patiently walked me through their entire process, showed me myriad swatches of different gilcee prints, and even took a look at my website to see the work I wanted to print. Afterward, she introduced me to her colleague Peter, a visual consultant, and he also went above and beyond, even advising me on the best places to buy cardboard matted frames, which they do not sell. Never once did I feel rushed or pressured into buying things. I get the sense that everyone there truly loves his/her job (both Peter and Danielle are artists themselves, so they understand the printing and framing process from both sides), is kind, professional and enjoys helping artists. Also, their work is insanely good, so I'm not surprised their clientele includes top photographers and such (I was referred to them by an art dealer). I will definitely be using them for my printing and framing needs. Super impressed. read more

Great place for having quality printing and scanning jobs. Highly suggested. Talk to Bob!

Oh Duggal, what would I do without you? Being the occasional Tuesday on a Wednesday, I can't tell you how many times they have saved me in some real binds. Located in the city that never sleeps, I sometimes wonder if they do! I'm constantly impressed by Duggal's ability to deliver high quality print services in a timely matter without compromising results. These guys are simply the best. I first used Duggal to produce some personal exhibits and have extended our relationship into my professional career. Their prices are fair and their work is nothing short of exceptional. Everyone who I have worked with has been extremely knowledgeable and helpful, ultimately leading me to a stronger finished product than I would have reached elsewhere. Come to them with a vision and they can make anything happen! They are a true joy to work with. read more

If you look carefully, around town, you will notice a lot of high quality photographic signs bare the Duggal insignia. The first ones that come to mind, are the beautiful pictures in the Techserve window display. They look great and I've found Duggal will do your personal prints with the same level of care. The color quality of their prints is always rich and beautiful. There is never a wonky color shift and the image is perfectly centered. I've gone to other color labs in Manhattan, paid more, and had this problem. The woman who does the film printing there is extremely talented, with color. She takes great care with my little 4x5 prints. When I have my next exhibition, I will be excited to use their services. I have nothing bad to say about their customer service, either. It's wonderful. The sales people are not the technicians so no messing up prints, while curtly taking orders. They are friendly and knowledgeable and eager to accommodate all my photographic whims.I love this place. read more

In an attempt to step my "adult" game up, I ordered the freshest custom made wall art for my apartment, because apparently that's what grown ups do. I just received it today and I have already mounted it. I had some issues with the Fed-ex delivery and Duggal had no hesitation in sending me a duplicate. Great service and quality printing work. Everyone has a favourite picture that they wish they could blow up. My favourite picture is of my beloved Pomeranian! I sent Duggal a high resolution of my beloved pup and they transferred it to a large canvas. It looks so professional, like a portrait. Ordering was easy, just upload a pic and delivery is super quick. They're located in the flatiron, so convenient but I didn't want to carry something bulky on mass trans. I'm already getting ready to pick out some of my wedding pics to have Duggal transfer them to canvas as gifts. Can't wait to use them again! read more

I used Duggal for a large canvas print of a photograph I had, to gift to my parents for their anniversary. The people at Duggal were very helpful and were able to inform me of photos I chose that were of lower resolution and thus would become blurry if expanded for the large print I wanted. I'm glad they took the time to warn me of that. When I did choose a photo I absolutely wanted to have printed, they suggested a black border that has really made the print shine. My parents loved the finished product - it was a perfect gift! I'll definitely be using their services again! read more

Being involved in the Fashion Industry, quality printing work is very important to me. I have ordered work from various places in the city and Duggal Visual is my number one option. Its alright, but too expensive. Its a nice open space, but my god do they take forever to do the simplest things. Both times i came here there was only one person in front of me in line..
