solid company for many years. they fixed my bumper on time and came out amazing. They dealt with my insurance flawlessly.

Amazing work, amazing service, and the best price! Dudley Collision did an amazing job repairing my car after my door was damaged. When I picked it up, the door looked absolutely brand new--you would never know anything had happened to it. They also went above and beyond. While they had my car, they noticed that one of my brake lights wasn't working properly and let me know. My car is due for inspection this month, and I would not have passed inspection if they hadn't caught it and fixed it for me. I really appreciated that attention to detail. And when I picked up my car, they had cleaned it! It honestly looked better than when I dropped it off. I've always believed that when you visit a friend, you should leave their home in better condition than when you arrived. Dudley Collision did exactly that with my car! On top of everything else, they had the best price of the places I checked. Excellent repair, great communication, attention to the little things, and truly outstanding customer service. I highly recommend Dudley Collision! read more

First off, the woman, Donna, at the front desk is extremely arrogant and condescending. I would never have her work at my business. Although the free inside detailing Is nice, I wish they had asked. They moved all of my personal belongings under my seat and in the backseat and put it back where ever they wanted. I definitely wouldn't have let them clean my car had I known that's what they were going to do. They should really ask before moving peoples belongings. I wouldn't recommend this place. I got misinformation multiple times. read more

Great job and very speedy. The car looks like new. And they detailed and washed it before we picked it up, a wonderful surprise! We've gone to Dudley in the past and will definitely use them for any (hopefully not) future car needs. read more

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. Rental Car, Insurance, Appraiser etc, Donna and Alan coordinated every aspect of the process. We could not be happier and (God forbid) if we are involved in another accident, we wouldn't want anybody else to work on our vehicle. read more

My 2021 GMC got rear ended and Dudley Street Auto Body was highly recommended by several local friends and let's just say the recommendations lived up to the hype. I was able to get an appointment about 10 days out from my initial call. Dudley set up my rental with enterprise and ordered the appropriate parts to be delivered on time for my scheduled appointment. I showed up for my appointment and my rental car was there waiting. Nice, simple, easy with no hiccups. I let the folks a Dudley know I was headed out of state on vacation and needed the vehicle back on a certain day. They kept me apprised of how the repairs were going and were able to deliver the vehicle back on time with no issues. They did a great job with no excuses or issues and I would be happy to bring my car back or highly recommend them to anyone. read more

These guys are awesome! I've used them three times over the years for accidents I've been in and they're been great every time. I drive old cars (REALLY old cars) and they've always given me realistic options and choices for how to handle the problem without trying to maximize the price. One example: they recently gave me the choice between top quality (but more expensive) or economy type replacement parts and the choice to have a fender saved (with the caveat that it might not look perfect) rather than have it replaced, which wouldn't have made sense for a car as old as mine (I had them save it and it ended up looking good as new). These guys WILL NOT rip you off! It's awesome to have a place that you can trust! read more

Flawless repairs, professional and very courteous service, and ready when promised! The car interior was detailed and wheels shined like new when all was done. Note the new location is 20 Hobbs Court. read more

Dudley Collision just repaired my car and I want to give an excellent review: they were helpful, prompt, and very efficient about helping to organize contact with insurance company and the rental car. My car looked shiny brand new inside and out when I picked it up. On time. Thank you, Dudley for great communication and fabulous work. read more

I took my car to Dudley Auto Body. The staff there was very friendly and professional. They gave me an estimate with a reasonable price, they were honest and even found some of the parts on sale. It took them exactly the amount of time they promised, and by the end of the business day on the promised day the car was ready. It was very well repaired. They did everything they said they would do. They even went an extra mile - washed the car, vacuumed and shampooed the inside, so it looked and smelled like brand new. I was pleasenly surprised! I would definelty go back and stongly recommend their services to anybody. read more

Once again wonderful experience! Highly recommended Staff could not be more helpful with timing, quantity, and value! Thank you! read more

Did a great job fixing some damage to my car, fair prices, ordered spare parts first so my fixes only took a day, and the inside of my car was very clean when it was returned. read more

After a recent accident, Dudley repaired my car. Their service was polite, MUCH faster than expected, and thorough. They returned phone calls quickly and communicated well with me, the rental agency, and my insurance. The work was quality, and my car looks good as new. Thank you, Dudley! read more

I had a pretty decent 'ding' on my Camaro and I really didn't want to deal with my insurance. Dudley were quick and amazing and were able to offer me some insight and ideas into what we could do. We decided on a quick easy fix until I decided to sell my car. The fix worked great, the value of my car didn't go down much and in the end we were all winners. Thank you so much! read more

I highly recommend this repair shop. They were fast, honest, and did a great job with my car. They matched a tricky color - BMW sparkling bronze metallic. Looks read more

Went here today for a quick touch up on paint, Maury gave a fair price and his attention to detail was perfect. Another body shop in Belmont was a scammer and was quoting me all sorts of crazy prices. Go to this shop, second experience and just as wonderful. I even gave a tip because they deserve it. read more

We used Dudley St Auto Body after my husbands car was sideswiped. Maury was wonderful & took care of everything from start to finish. He even informed us that we could get reimbursed from our insurance company to replace the car seats that were in the car at the time of the accident. The car was done when promised & they went above & beyond. read more

Nobody goes to an autobody shop for fun but Dudely Street Autobody made it as painless as possible. They were upfront and honest with me about costs, timing, and insurance, and did a great job replacing the door on my vehicle. Everyone I spoke to was courteous and friendly. I called about a water leak in my car. The receptionist told me it would be a week until they could get to it, so we scheduled an appointment. She assured me that if I brought it in Wednesday they could get it done the same day, so I planned my schedule accordingly. I put my bike in the car and showed up at 8AM day of the appointment. The receptionist said she didn't have my name and appointment written down. After a few moments she recalled that she did take the appointment, but just didn't write it down for some reason. I was hoping I could talk to someone about the issue, but there was no one in at the time who could speak to me. She said they would check it out and call me. I biked to work, shortly after I get a call saying that there is no way they could fit in the work today because some people were sick and they were backed up with insurance related work. It was frustrating, but things happen. I bike back to the shop and the receptionist apoogized with some vague explanation. I was polite and said "Things happen. Can we reschedule?". She seemed completely disinterested in rescheduling or giving me any kind of option for getting my issue fixed. She then tells me "this isn't the kind of work we do". Why didn't she tell me that on the phone the week prior??? It would have saved me a week in getting the issue fixed and I also wouldn't have had to completely rearrange my day for no reason. At no point was the receptionist rude to me, but I am perplexed and frustrated about the needless waste of time and energy. Clearly they didn't want my business and were prioritizing insurance claim work. Fine, just tell me that from the get go so I can move on. Strong avoid! read more

I highly recommend this shop based solely on communication, honestly, and their ability to manage my expectations. They are able to provide a fair quote on the spot and have pride in the quality of their work. They are flexible and fair and will continue to use them as long as I am in the Boston area. I will not use anyone else going forward. read more

Well...needless to say my car recently got in a fight with a skinny yellow pole...and LOST. Sigh. I tried to drive around with it looking dented up for a while but decided it just looked too ghetto to have a cute little convertible banged up in the dead of summer. Sooo...I reluctantly started looking for places to have my car repaired. And since I decided not to turn it in to the insurance company, I had to make sure that I found a place that was not only cheap but good. An impossible feat. BUT, my friend recommended Dudley Auto Body to check out since they gave her the lowest quote out of the places she went to for a repair on her truck. So I gave it a shot. And I was pleasantly surprised! I took my car in to James and he gave me an estimate within minutes. He gave me what it would cost him to repair it and what it would cost to replace the part so that there were no surprises. And the prices were actually far more reasonable than I had expected. So he promised he could have it done within a day if he could repair it (the next day in fact)...so I dropped my car off the next morning and he turns out he was able to fix my car beautifully AND saved me about $700 in costs to replace it. Plus, the Enterprise Rent-A-Car was literally right next door so I just walked over and picked up a car for the day. BONUS!! They also have a repair shop and tire service on sight so it's kinda like one-stop-shopping. It doesn't get any better. Oh and convenient location too. Am I gushing?!?! Only downside is that they don't take credit cards for body work. Bummer. But still not enough of a deterent for me not to come back. I would highly recommend bringing your car here! read more

I recently took my BMW there. When I got there, I told Dave about my previous experience at the BMW body shop and how they took a month to fix a fender. Dave laughed about it and said even Herb Chamber would not use that body shop because they lie about when it's going to get fixed. Dave told me that it will take 5- 7 days and it will be ready by the middle of next week and there is NO IF AND BUT ABOUT IT. Well, that was a whole another story. Every week I would email him and he would extend the delivery date by a day and finally I got the care after exactly a month. Work was good. I am giving it 2 stars because he lied to me about the delivery and only replied my emails when I texted him first. read more

We had a very good experience here. Maury communicated with us clearly and directly, coordinated with our insurance company on the supplemental appraisal, they did a great job on the repair, and washed/detailed the car thoroughly before we picked it up. It was an easy, pleasant experience - a relief after having a very negative experience with a different auto body shop on the same street a few years back. Would definitely recommend. read more

Super easy repair process. They were able to find a time in their schedule within a few weeks of when I called and even offered to arrange the rental car for me. There weren't too many updates as the process progressed, but my repair was done quickly and my sparkly clean car was well taken care of. All the people I interacted with were pleasant and helpful. Hopefully I don't ever need their services again but I know I'll return here if I do. read more

A great place to get your car fixed. They're honest and fair. Some jerk had smashed my car's back bumper without leaving a note. My insurance paid ... after the deductible--ouch! Dudley St. fixed it well. Car looks great! I had a small problem with the trunk door not closing smoothly and they adjusted it right in about 10 minutes. Mass. Ave. is a short walk away, so I could catch a bus (77, 79, or 350) back home after dropping off my car. read more

My usual car repair person told me to go to this place when I needed some body work done. Wow, am I glad I listened to that advice! Great work, finished on time, no hassle, and a good price! I hope I don't need more auto body work, but if I do, I'm definitely going back to Dudley Street Auto Body! read more

I just picked up my car and I am extremely pleased with the work, and especially the attitude and service. Initially the estimate assumed a new door was needed, but when they took it apart, the interior components were not damaged as expected, so they were able to reduce the final price significantly, which was very much appreciated. I will not hesitate to go to Dudley Street Auto Body again. An Enterprise car rental is a few steps away making it very easy to get a rental car while repairs were made. read more

I needed some work done on my car and I came to Yelp for some ideas of where to go. I was interested to see that this shop had all 5 star reviews and decided to check them out. This charming Mom and Pop operation is terrific! They did the work I needed for the amount that the insurance company paid and did some extra work for a reduced fee. They were fast and efficient and even sent me a thank you note... IN THE MAIL! When was the last time you got a thank you note from a business?! I highly recommend them! read more

Some small scratches, a larger dent and some bad paint scuffs - all fixed to look like new at a very reasonable price. Very impressed with workmanship - would definitely go again to these guys for any autobody work. read more

I have had two minor repairs at Dudley Street Auto Body recently. In both, they did a great job! Fast, affordable and high quality work. For the first, I originally took my car to the dealer. They quoted about $2000 for the repair. Dudley Street did it for $300. For the second, I took my car in yesterday for an estimate. James gave me a quote, ordered the part I needed, and called this morning to say the part had come in. I brought my car over, and in less that 45 minutes it was fixed and I was on my way. They are one more great asset of Arlington. read more

They are the best auto repair! A metal pole accidentally hit my front bumper and they repaired it and saved me hundreds of dollars!!!

These guys are great. They are patient, sympathetic, hardworking, and careful. My folks' car seems to keep getting things happening to it, I dunno the universe must hate that poor beat-up ol' Camry :) But no matter what happens, I bring it by this place and they fix it up, they take their time, they order weird parts that magically have fallen off, and they look for ways to save money without compromising safety. They are also super respectful of my elderly parents, a good combination of professional but also nice. location is convenient and prices are good, too. read more

This place is great. I took my Nissan there for a rusted fender to be replaced. They replaced the piece with an affordable aftermarket one, and matched the color almost perfectly. Not only did they do a professional and excellent job, they also kept the cost very reasonable and performed the work in one day. I also really appreciated that they washed up the car and cleaned the inside. In addition, I got there towards the end of the day after they had closed, and the front-desk clerk came back and opened up the shop so I could pick up my car. Good customer service. Talk to the manager James Murdock there if you need help. I am sure you will be satisfied! read more

Because of a hit and run accident, my car needed a new driver side door. I was unsure of where to go and felt hesitant to use the "recommended" list that my insurance agency provided. However, based upon their yelp reviews, perfect BBB record, and the fact that they are only 2 miles from where I lived, I decided to give Dudley Street Auto Body a try. When I called the shop, I was assisted by James, who immediately put me at ease. I needed the car to be repaired in a rather short amount of time, as i was supposed to travel to Maine in a matter of days. As soon as I arrived, James called in an order for the new door, and assured me that all could be completed within my time frame. He was wonderful in his followup, completed the work Early!, and made sure that i was thrilled with the outcome. Although I used to swear by the Acura dealership, I will probably give more of my business to Dudley's from now on. They were professional, reasonably priced, and provided exceptional customer service.. *for body work, i believe it is cash or check only... so keep that in mind :) read more

Excellent service from calling and speaking to Bonnie who went above and beyond to assist me giving me options for this busy holiday season. From Diane (reminded me of my Mom with a good ear and willing to listen to your ramblings) who I gave and received my keys . Also John who came out to my car when I thought their still was a dent his words were" lets go take a look" (of course me power walking from Mass Ave and panting must of made me see wrong or at least hazy). Everyone seem to genuinely care that i was happy and at ease with Dudley Street Auto Body taking good care of everything. My Car was washed clean and parked out front easy for me to get in and go (Hate having to worry about getting out of a tight space or driveway after having my car serviced) . Like a previous reviewer I did take the Bus on Mass Ave to drop off my car and pick up which was easy peasy . read more
