Horrible the crabs were mushy, overcooked, burnt and soft and the owner was not willing replace them.

But Here's where it just got interesting Vodka chicken Parmesan.. sounds simple right I Cannot Express the TBO J and I both had with our first bite.. When I tell you that the Pasta, I mean the noodles y'all, the pasta was the best pasta we've ever had...amazing and then the chicken Parm was juicy, crisp on the outside, baked cheesy on top... just probably the best chicken Parm we've ever had.. put two of them together and I just can't even finish thi..... Okay just kidding, I've got to finish to tell you about the amazing people behind the incredible food.. We told Patrina that we weren't from around here and it was our first time at Lib's.. She was the best first impression you could have had... told us the history of the Lib family how they are the Perry Hall staple of the area. Vic was our server and he was wonderful, answering questions and very knowledgeable. Michelle was the mgr on the evening we were there and came out when we wanted to rave over the meal... when she found out we were new to the area, she came back to the table with her top picks for dining in the area. Really... wow! The deck was enclosed but was an open space that made you feel like you were outside without the draft. I could go on and on, but really, stop reading and navigate here Right now What makes you think I'm kidding Put down that mediocre food This is way better than what your stuffing your face with Y'all

We hade the roughy stuffed with crabmeat. It was salty, but still delicious! Sides of baked potato and pickled beets! Our other entree was crab cakes. Lots of lump crab. Good flavor. We didn't have time for dessert. An assortment of beers on tap and by the bottle. Friendly and attentive service from Stephanie. Nice atmosphere. Traditional wood paneling. Ample street parking

Everyone got their drinks except for me - I had to ask for it (unsweet tea) multiple times before she finally brought it. We planted our order and the waitress brought out everyone's food except for mine; by the time I finally got my food everyone was almost done eating their meals. The crab cakes were good, but cold when it was finally brought out to me. We ordered an appetizer that was brought out after we were all done eating. The server kept saying she wasn't supposed to be working and made us feel like she didn't want to be there. The restaurant had a nice vibe, but the lack of service really was off-putting. I don't think I would go here again, plenty of other places that care about their costumers.

I suspect Captain Jim runs his ships all the same, no matter where they are located, so I'll put it here - but if the Captain is still in the same spot next year, I'll start the new Yelp page then. My grandfather lived in Dundalk all his life, and he was a tremendously important person in my life. He passed some time ago and is buried at... one of those cemeteries on German Hill, right across the street from Captain Jim's. I like to visit him on his birthday, and Christmas if I have the chance. This year would have been his 99th birthday. I put a box of Butterfinger candies on his headstone because they were his favorite, and decided that I would get some steamed crabs in his honor because they were also one of his favorite things (and I had the money). We were originally going to get the crabs somewhere else, but figured, 'hey, Captain Jim's is right here. Why not give them a try?' We weren't disappointed. It took about 20 minutes for them to freshly steam 3 dozen small males, and a pound of shrimp for us. It wasn't much more than $50 (which is what I had on hand from my grandmother, who has been without my grandfather for at least 15 years now). The scent of the (I'm guessing) J.O2 seasoning filled our van, and the steam from the crabs actually fogged our windows. I spent about 8 hours picking crabs. I find the activity so calming, and could do it all the time if my arthritic elbows and shoulders didn't throw an absolute fit the next day. The crabs were delicious and made me happy, and isn't that the point? We got two different butters to dip the crab in, but that's not really my thing. My boyfriend said that the plain butter tasted woody, and he didn't like that, but the garlic butter was a hit and he has used the leftover butter to make at least one dinner so far. The shrimp were lovely, and came with cocktail sauce, and steamed onions because what's the point of steamed shrimp if not to get some onions as well? I think we did right by my grandfather. Would recommend

Conrad's Seafood Restaurant absolutely lived up to the hype!…read more From the moment we walked in, I knew we were in for a great experience. The restaurant is spacious, spotless, and has a welcoming atmosphere that's perfect for families, date nights, or large groups. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Everyone we encountered was genuinely friendly, and our server, Talia, was attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel well taken care of throughout the meal. Now... let's talk about the food. We started with the hush puppies, which came out hot, fresh, and had the perfect hint of sweetness. They were a great way to kick off the meal. The fried green tomatoes almost stole the show. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and topped with sweet, tender jumbo lump crab meat....they were absolutely phenomenal and a must-order. The Conrad Soup was another standout. Rich, creamy, hearty, and packed with flavor. It tasted homemade in the best way possible. I also have to give a shoutout to the personal pitcher of sweet tea. As someone who appreciates good sweet tea, it's surprisingly hard to find one that's actually done right. Conrad's nailed it. But the undeniable star of the meal was the steamed blue crabs. I called ahead to reserve 12 large male crabs, which I highly recommend doing if you're planning a visit. Every single crab was perfectly steamed, generously seasoned, and absolutely loaded with sweet, tender meat. They were some of the best steamed crabs I've had in a long time. We purposely came early for lunch so we could take our time, and I'm so glad we did because this was an experience worth savoring. Conrad's exceeded every expectation I had. Between the outstanding service, incredible food, and relaxed atmosphere, I already know I'll be making the drive back. If you're a Maryland crab lover, this place deserves a spot at the top of your list. 10/10!! I'll definitely be back!
