It was happy hour, so I ordered a peach tea crush and my friend got an orange crush. She even asked whether we wanted soda water or Sprite, which is such a small detail but something I'm never asked and it made the drinks even better. Both were absolutely delicious. Now let's talk food, because wow. I ordered the half & half soup (half Maryland crab soup, half cream of crab), and it was hands-down the best crab soup I've ever had. I'm not exaggerating it was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. So good that we later came back for soup to go, and then also DoorDashed soup that night because we realized we were going to want more. That should tell you everything. I also got the lobster roll with crab and bacon fries, and I'm still thinking about it. Unreal. My friend ordered the pan-seared rockfish with loaded mashed potatoes, and her meal was just as incredible. Everything came out fast, hot, and beautifully prepared. The restaurant itself is gorgeous clean, comfortable, stylish, and welcoming. Every staff member we interacted with was helpful and kind, and the whole experience felt effortless. Yes, prices are a little on the higher side but this is seafood, and nothing felt shocking or out of line for the quality you're getting. Completely worth it. What really blew my mind was that when we stopped back later, it still wasn't busy maybe 10-20 people total, on a Thursday night in Fells Point. Absolutely baffling. Bottom line: This place is now a mandatory stop anytime I'm in Fells Point honestly, probably daily if I'm in the area. Incredible food, great drinks, beautiful space, and top-notch service. If you're skipping The Chop Tank, you're doing it wrong.

The sea bass was cooked perfectly and although it was a little under seasoned, the grilled lemon helped add some citrus notes. I found it odd that the fish entrees were treated like a steak, meaning they do not come with any sides, you have to order them ala carte. The green beans that I ordered for my side were good, but nothing special, especially for the price. Overall this is a cute spot but definitely seems like it could be a bit of a tourist grab.

They said it was a "sharing charge" which I have experienced and applies when u have another diner with you and u decide to split an entree. Had they disclosed I would at least had the option to finish the meal. The saying "stepping over dollars to pick up pennies " seems to apply as this left such a bad taste I doubt I will return despite the fact the crab cake was delicious and the loaded baked potato was average (hardly loaded) Beware of the hidden gratuity for take home leftovers!!! Update to above: I did follow up with Angie this morning and she was very kind and offered to credit back my card for the extra gratuity. She also explained that I was misled about the "sharing charge" but they do automatically add 15% gratuity regardless of party size or quality of service. Tipping should remain at the discretion of the diner based on service and food quality otherwise just get rid of tipping and raise your prices
