What a Jen! Found this place searching the web. Our server was a delight ! So nice and efficient ! When she said she would time the meal she was not joking , excellent and so professional. Food was all outstanding. Décor and setting was old school perfect. Highly recommend and will be a normal go to for us !

Old World Wisconsin Supper Club... Friday Lenten Fish Fry... potato pancakes and a cup of thick Clam Chowder... Off Lent will want to try the Duck and other sides. Shannon is an awesome server!!

Saturday at 4:00pm opening. This place fills up fast. The food and service is good and yes, they will come!! Sorry, went for the special rib eye rather than the Duck.( which still looked yummy yummy!) Service excellent and gracious. No pictures of the desert. Great selection and was gone before pictures were taken. The best Wisconsin Old Fashion we had yet. By the way, off a bit the main road so don't fly past it!

A lovely supper club with an old time atmosphere and cool duck decorations. The bar is especially unique - ask to be seated in this area when making a reservation otherwise there is a wait. We were therefore seated in the dining room area and enjoyed the complementary crackers and cheese dip. I enjoyed my glass of Cabernet Sauvignon with my meal. I ordered the combo meal and chose duck and scallops- the duck was tasty though I didn't love the mushroom sauce. It came with some rice, and the scallops came with tasty snap peas as well. The scallops though were small. I also enjoyed some of my boyfriend's prime rib (Saturday night special), though I didn't know and like that we had to pay extra for horseradish that didn't come out until the end of the meal. Otherwise, the portions here are great as it comes with a soup or salad and bread before the meal and a choice of potato. We had also shared the calamari, which was a nice tasty small appetizer. Finally, we couldn't end the birthday meal without some dessert, so we enjoyed a slice of the key lime pie. It was a nice night overall!

Went on a Sunday for lunch with a group of 6. Pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves. There were a few people in the bar. The bar had great ambience with their St Patrick's Day decor. For lunch, I ordered their twist on Chicken Cordon Bleu. The chicken was stuffed with andouille sausage and pepper jack cheese. It was delicious! I also had their Teal Martini. I'm not much of a drinker anymore but I had 2 of those and probably would have had more if I didn't have a long drive home. Best drink I've had in quite some time. I would definitely be back. The only downside was the waitress didn't tell us the specials. We noticed the board of specials as we are walking out. We definitely would've tried something off the specials menu if we knew about it.

This was a last-minute decision since my group was nearby and wanted a hearty warm dinner. I called to see if I could get a table since it was a Saturday night. Fortunately, we were there early enough (4:30 PM) what luck! When we were leaving (about 6:15 PM) the place was packed and people were waiting for tables. Our server was great! She made suggestions and had good honest descriptions when we asked about things on the menu. I started with a traditional Wisconsin brandy old-fashioned. That was good. The drink menu was over the top with old-school cocktails. That was so great to see on a supper club menu. Next was a crab stuffed mushroom appetizer. It was a perfect size to share (six pieces). Not those giant-size mushrooms, which left room for dinner and dessert. I wished they had more flavor though. Entrees at the table were salmon with dill butter, prime rib that was fatty and disappointing, and the fried walleye that was meaty, but scant on flavor. I had Ranch potatoes for my side and they were delicious! Finally, crème brûlée for dessert that was really nice. It's the true supper club experience and really cozy in both dining rooms. However, I wanted more consistent flavors on all the dishes. Just a footnote, the old-school supper club salad bars are a thing of the past. You won't find one here, sadly.

Had a fun dinner with friends last Saturday night. Loved all the duck decor and they have a beautiful fish tank in the bar. Bartenders were very personal and drinks were made well. I had the Queen cut prime rib (Saturday special) and hashbrowns. Both were delicious! Everyone else enjoyed their meals including the duck and wagyu ribeye special. Finished my dinner with some chocolate lava cake. So good!! Others had the crème brûlée and said it was delicious as well. Will definitely be back!

First off: our waitress SHANNON was amazing !!! So attentive to our needs and gave us suggestions about what to order which I loved. There is plenty of parking. The place doesn't look like much from the outside but once inside you see how special this place is. The bar has a fish tank built into it. Bartenders are so nice. There was only one bottle of Prosecco left and he saved it for me. All you can eat fish was only $20. Small pieces but very good flavor. The blackened salmon was to die for. I was told the lobster was good... I ordered a turtle cheesecake to go and it was so soft & delicious. Bill wasn't bad. For salmon, all you can eat fish, mozzarella sticks for appetizer, 2 desserts, and 6 drinks bill was only $120.

Oh, where to start…read more We were on our way back from Cascade Mountain after a day of February skiing, and wanted to find a new steakhouse. My wife found this one, and we managed to snag a reservation for a table in the bar area. The sign has a stagecoach on it - it looks like the wheels could be made to spin from the neon, but they weren't the night we were there. See the photos below. When we arrived, we were greeted at the door. There is a spot to the left as you walk in to put your coats if you want. Once seated, look around. There is a ton of history on the wall, and we enjoyed the wall displays of old guns and equipment. They start you off with 3 different salads. You think "What? 3?" Yes, three, and pretty generous portions of them. There was a 3 bean salad, a pea salad, and another one, and all of them were very tasty. We tried not to leave any behind. We ordered their jalapeño cheese curds as an appetizer. The cheese curds were good, but we couldn't taste much jalapeño zing in them. The salad came out - it was what I'd call a basic steakhouse salad. Nothing fancy. I ordered their baked french onion soup - that was very good, with the cheese liberally applied over the top of the bread in the top, and plenty of tasty onions inside. For the main course, my wife had their fried fish, which was plentiful along with Au Gratin potatoes and cole slaw. I had their filet mignon, which was very tasty, seemed to be dry aged, and was sooo tender, with a baked potato. As much as we would have liked to order dessert, it wasn't in the cards. Dinner was more than filling enough. Would we come back? Oh yes we would. The service was excellent, the food was tasty, and the restaurant had a lot of interesting things to look at on the inside. The bathrooms are on the north end of the restaurant. The hallway was a little cold. The mens room was nice and clean, and smelled clean.

It was busy but they were able to seat us right away. Our pleasant server provided us with drinks an our orders came quickly. I had the Wednesday special queen cut prime rib with 4 deep fried shrimp, along with sides of salad, au gratin potatoes and chicken dumpling soup. I enjoyed it all. My prime was very tender. and My wife had the breaded pork tenderloin. There were two huge tenderloins that had thin and crispy breading and were moist inside. She enjoyed them but noted a little more seasoning in the breading would have been nice. Great atmosphere and set, good food with very filling portions. 4.5

Good afternoon. Easter Brunch Sunday is a busy time!…read more I'll start off by saying, we have had great service and food in the past. We really enjoyed our visits. Here's the skinny: One month ago I made reservations for five. This morning I had to change the number for the reservation due to family illness. Myself and my significant other decided to keep the reservation for two. Our reservation was changed from 11:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This wasn't a big deal to us. We understood the possibilities. At 11:19 a.m. we arrived in plenty of time before our respective reservation time at 11:30 a.m. The gal at the front desk stated that it would be a little time before our table would be ready due to a previous reservation was still at our soon to be table. We decided to grab a drink while waiting at the bar. At 11:31a.m. I walked up to ask when our table would be ready. The gal stated that the table would be ready in a few minutes. Okay, perfect. Well, 6 people showed up between 11:31 a.m. and 11:39 a.m. All 6 people were sat immediately. I then overheard the conversation of the gal at the desk and a waitress who sat 2 couples of the 6 people before us. She stated, "oops! I sat the wrong two people, oh well." I said to myself, hmmm. Interesting. At 11:42 a.m. we were shown our seats. Okay, no apologies by the gal at the desk. I moved on. Food time! Food looked amazing, except both dishes, poached eggs and an egg dish were not properly cooked. The egg dish was without a doubt, undercooked. The egg dish was asked to be sent back. The poached eggs were not asked to go back. I had no problem with eating cold, not properly cooked poached eggs. They're poached, what could go wrong? Service. Our bar tender was great! She was receptive to our needs and made great drinks! Our waitress was okay, nothing but average. She checked on us three times and a fourth time with the bill. This is what really upset me! After paying for our bill, the gal at the desk walked up to our table stating, "We are more than welcome to stay and continue our Easter brunch at the bar, but she needed to turn our table for the next reservation." I looked at my watch. It was 12:31 p.m.. WOW!!! I was a little thrown back, surprised by the audacity of being asked to leave. This was not our fault that the previous diners were leaving late nor that the waitress sat other guests before us at our 11:30 a.m. reservation and that the food was undercooked and not done that suddenly WE had to leave our table?!?!?! WOW! I'm not sure how the owners are with treating their customers would feel. Feel free to contact me.

We arrived early for our reservation planning to have a drink at the bar while we waited but our table was ready so we were given the option to be seated right away. Definitely see why people recommend it.

St. Paul Fish Market is located inside the very busy and popular Milwaukee Public Market indoor shopping complex downtown. It reminds me of the Pike Place Fish Market in Seattle. The only parking option that I am aware of is metered street parking. The building has 2 levels but the 1st floor is where most of the business are. It appeared to me that St. Paul's is the most popular business there. It is a seafood restaurant and fresh fish market. They have a small sit down area for table service dining or you can order your food to go at the counter. After being seated and reviewing the menu I decided to order the same meal I had over 11 years ago. I went with a bowl of clam chowder for $8 to start and then added a fried grouper sandwich ($16) with french fries for another $2.50. The chowder was perfect. Flavorful, delicious and I wanted more (5). The sandwich also was delicious and satisfying made with quality fish, lettuce, tomato, and bread. However while it tasted very good halfway through eating it the bread bun started to disintegrate and then quickly turned to mush before I could finish. Then I needed a fork to finish it. It got messy and I don't like that in a sandwich. It's only for that reason I give an overall 4 score instead of a 5. The french fries were very good tasting too but I had ordered too much food and only had room for a few of them. The table service was very warm and friendly. I believe St. Paul's is a very good choice for a casual seafood meal but please buy more sturdy buns!
