What a Jen! Found this place searching the web. Our server was a delight ! So nice and efficient ! When she said she would time the meal she was not joking , excellent and so professional. Food was all outstanding. Décor and setting was old school perfect. Highly recommend and will be a normal go to for us !

Old World Wisconsin Supper Club... Friday Lenten Fish Fry... potato pancakes and a cup of thick Clam Chowder... Off Lent will want to try the Duck and other sides. Shannon is an awesome server!!

Saturday at 4:00pm opening. This place fills up fast. The food and service is good and yes, they will come!! Sorry, went for the special rib eye rather than the Duck.( which still looked yummy yummy!) Service excellent and gracious. No pictures of the desert. Great selection and was gone before pictures were taken. The best Wisconsin Old Fashion we had yet. By the way, off a bit the main road so don't fly past it!

A lovely supper club with an old time atmosphere and cool duck decorations. The bar is especially unique - ask to be seated in this area when making a reservation otherwise there is a wait. We were therefore seated in the dining room area and enjoyed the complementary crackers and cheese dip. I enjoyed my glass of Cabernet Sauvignon with my meal. I ordered the combo meal and chose duck and scallops- the duck was tasty though I didn't love the mushroom sauce. It came with some rice, and the scallops came with tasty snap peas as well. The scallops though were small. I also enjoyed some of my boyfriend's prime rib (Saturday night special), though I didn't know and like that we had to pay extra for horseradish that didn't come out until the end of the meal. Otherwise, the portions here are great as it comes with a soup or salad and bread before the meal and a choice of potato. We had also shared the calamari, which was a nice tasty small appetizer. Finally, we couldn't end the birthday meal without some dessert, so we enjoyed a slice of the key lime pie. It was a nice night overall!

Went on a Sunday for lunch with a group of 6. Pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves. There were a few people in the bar. The bar had great ambience with their St Patrick's Day decor. For lunch, I ordered their twist on Chicken Cordon Bleu. The chicken was stuffed with andouille sausage and pepper jack cheese. It was delicious! I also had their Teal Martini. I'm not much of a drinker anymore but I had 2 of those and probably would have had more if I didn't have a long drive home. Best drink I've had in quite some time. I would definitely be back. The only downside was the waitress didn't tell us the specials. We noticed the board of specials as we are walking out. We definitely would've tried something off the specials menu if we knew about it.

This was a last-minute decision since my group was nearby and wanted a hearty warm dinner. I called to see if I could get a table since it was a Saturday night. Fortunately, we were there early enough (4:30 PM) what luck! When we were leaving (about 6:15 PM) the place was packed and people were waiting for tables. Our server was great! She made suggestions and had good honest descriptions when we asked about things on the menu. I started with a traditional Wisconsin brandy old-fashioned. That was good. The drink menu was over the top with old-school cocktails. That was so great to see on a supper club menu. Next was a crab stuffed mushroom appetizer. It was a perfect size to share (six pieces). Not those giant-size mushrooms, which left room for dinner and dessert. I wished they had more flavor though. Entrees at the table were salmon with dill butter, prime rib that was fatty and disappointing, and the fried walleye that was meaty, but scant on flavor. I had Ranch potatoes for my side and they were delicious! Finally, crème brûlée for dessert that was really nice. It's the true supper club experience and really cozy in both dining rooms. However, I wanted more consistent flavors on all the dishes. Just a footnote, the old-school supper club salad bars are a thing of the past. You won't find one here, sadly.

Had a fun dinner with friends last Saturday night. Loved all the duck decor and they have a beautiful fish tank in the bar. Bartenders were very personal and drinks were made well. I had the Queen cut prime rib (Saturday special) and hashbrowns. Both were delicious! Everyone else enjoyed their meals including the duck and wagyu ribeye special. Finished my dinner with some chocolate lava cake. So good!! Others had the crème brûlée and said it was delicious as well. Will definitely be back!

First off: our waitress SHANNON was amazing !!! So attentive to our needs and gave us suggestions about what to order which I loved. There is plenty of parking. The place doesn't look like much from the outside but once inside you see how special this place is. The bar has a fish tank built into it. Bartenders are so nice. There was only one bottle of Prosecco left and he saved it for me. All you can eat fish was only $20. Small pieces but very good flavor. The blackened salmon was to die for. I was told the lobster was good... I ordered a turtle cheesecake to go and it was so soft & delicious. Bill wasn't bad. For salmon, all you can eat fish, mozzarella sticks for appetizer, 2 desserts, and 6 drinks bill was only $120.

Nothing special. Overpriced for mediocre food and sizes (on certain meals). The service was slow too. I wish they offered smaller steaks.

    What is that dress atire?

I would say business casual ? Lol. You can wear jeans but I wouldn't. I would wear a nice dress for ladies or a guy nice polo and khakis.

Celebrating Love, Suffering Through Dinner: Hunt Club Steakhouse Fails When It Matters Most…read more Anniversaries are sacred. They're the one night a year you splurge a little, dress up, and expect the restaurant to hold up its end of the bargain. Hunt Club Steakhouse couldn't hold up its end of anything. My wife and I arrived to celebrate twelve years of marriage. We left counting the minutes until we could get out the door. From the jump, the evening felt like an afterthought. We were tucked into a small side room -- four tables, terrible acoustics, voices ricocheting off every wall. When I asked to be moved to the main dining room, the answer was no. Those tables, we were told, were reserved for larger parties. Except the main room was full of couples. Just not us. Then came the waiting. Drinks: ten minutes. Rolls and butter -- rolls and butter -- took over twenty. Our entrées took over an hour. Our waitress apologized a few times early on, which was appreciated -- but somewhere around the 45-minute mark, she stopped coming by altogether. Out of sight, out of accountability. Meanwhile, tables seated well after us received their full entrées and were eating through their meals before ours ever arrived. Not a quick turnaround -- significantly faster service, start to finish. When I finally voiced my frustration, a staff member stopped me mid-sentence, promised they'd let us enjoy the meal first and then address my concerns. What actually happened? The check arrived instead. Then every person in sight -- waitress, host, anyone -- vanished. We paid and walked out without a single acknowledgment. As for the food: the steaks were underwhelming -- poor cuts, little flavor, nothing that justified the price or the wait. The mac and cheese was decent, perfectly fine, forgettable. We added lobster only to find a small handful of pieces scattered across a plate meant for two or three people -- a genuinely insulting portion. The one bright spot? The Brussels sprouts. Genuinely delicious. Truly. I wish I could say the same about anything else. Hunt Club Steakhouse had one job on our anniversary: don't ruin it. Poor food, chaotic pacing, vanishing staff, and zero follow-through on their own promise to make it right. This is not a restaurant that respects its guests -- especially not on a night that actually matters.

Definitely the worst I've had here. Our family of 12+ has been coming here basically my entire life but they have been going downhill. Yes everything costs more right now but you can't charge more for worse options and service. So here's the good. The sausage. That's it, at least for me. Sausage was very good. I don't do eggs, but the omelet bar was well received by those who ate one. Now here's the rest. Bacon was awful, bad cook and texture. No waffles!? So they always had a waffle bar here, they would make them fresh throughout service and you could top them with whatever fun toppings you wanted... last year they were pre made like everything else but at least they still had them. This year, nothing. They had pancakes at the kids table next to the mac n cheese... sigh. No breakfast potatoes!? How do you not have hashbrowns or potatoes o Brian or something? They had some whole fingerlings in a sauce with pork belly and other nonsense, it looked horrible. And it's just not what I want at brunch, just give me some simple potatoes! The dessert options were weak. A spot labeled various mousses had, in fact, only 1 type of mousse. Some of the desserts being put out were pre packaged cookies... my drink didn't come out until I was basically done eating, which admittedly wasn't too long because there was nothing worth eating anyway. This meal was 70+ bucks a head before service fees and tip. More like 100+ after that. Not worth it. At all. I really love this venue, it's very scenic and great for holiday photos and such. That said, don't brunch here. It's our family tradition but we might have to find a new one...
