    D. LICIOUS!!!!!!! The tilapia was amazing, but my boy had the paella which I sampled and THAT was BANGING!!!!!! Overall is pricing but the food is honestly worth it...

Really modern and clean inside - my kids were amazed by the bathroom lol. Good soundtrack of modern Spanish songs, and very friendly staff. The menu is almost exclusively seafood, so keep in mind, but they do have chicken tenders and quesadillas on the kids menu, plus a few chicken and skirt steak items. Really good Nayarit style seafood, with lots of selection. You get a little thing of ceviche for the table while you wait, and the green salsa that comes with is pretty spicy. Hubby got a small ceviche plate and I got a shrimp and octopus cocktail, while the kids went for the chicken tenders. All the seafood tasted fresh and delicious, and the sauce for the cocktail was yummy. It's a bit pricey, but it's seafood and honestly, everything is pricey these days. Will definitely be back!

The torre de mariscos with the oysters was awesome. Highly recommend it.

Fresh seafood, large portions, good prices - Oceans Seafood will not disappoint. We love seafood so my husband and I headed here upon recommendation of friends. We were greeted with complementary ceviche, which is the best ceviche I've ever had (including ceviche from Riveria Maya region of Mexico). We loved it so much we ordered some more. Beware of the green sauce with it - my husband has a super high tolerance for hot/spice and it was a bit too hit for him. My husband judges Mexican restaurants by their guacamole, so we had an order of that as well and it was a large serving - more than enough for two. Just the right balance of seasonings and super fresh. The drink and food menus were extensive. Order a drink, an app or two and take your time to look through the menu and don't be afraid to ask staff questions or their recommendations. I had a pineapple half stuffed with crab, shrimp, steak and cheese. It was amazing. It was rich and a lot of food so next time I'd recommend sharing it with someone. My husband got shrimp and carne asada - shrimp was great, meat was a tad dry. Seafood is their specialty so my husband said next time we come back he's going to get what I had (he actually finished mine!). We gawked at other dishes as they were delivered to the other tables around us - everything looked amazing and we can't wait to come back and try other items. A table near us ordered a bunch of oysters and told us they on the level of those they've eaten on the east coast. This is a treasure and we cannot wait to make the trip down from Wisconsin again. If you like seafood - this is your place.

I ordered an aguachile mix. It was good but a little over-seasoned and the portion of aguachile shrimps was not as much but rather I got cooked shrimps which in that case I would've ordered a ceviche. The service was good and the music was not as loud as other places. I ordered a Michelada and it was a little light. Overall had a good experience but I will try something else next time. Be aware there is an extra charge if you pay with a card (debit or credit)

This is a great new addition to Lindenhurst. Yummy drinks, lots of menu options with big servings. I'm not a big seafood fan but everything I tried here was delicious! Kind service as well! The building is nicely updated and modern. Must stop in and try this spot out.

I love seafood and believe Mexico does seafood uniquely and well. First off, this place is Extremely Clean ! I haven't been in a restaurant that clean in who knows how long. They start you with fish ceviche with shredded carrots, delectable Chips, a green salsita that is citrusy and spicy. The Shrimp Empanadas were unique and will have your wondering how the infused the chili flavor into the shell so well. My mom ordered the seafood stew with shrimp, fish, and octopus, yum. My Pops had some delicious huge plate of Fish ceviche loaded with the cucumber our bodies so desire. I had the Mojo de Ajo and it was a very nice and bold Garlic flavor with the butter we all love. $12 was a bit steep for a Michelada and live in California. I asked if it was a mega size one and no, just a regular size, I passed. Give this place a shot though if you'd like a new experience, good fresh seafood, and support the local businesses.

My husband and I had a reservation on Valentine's night and it felt like our server was trying to rush us out to turn the table. Between sitting down and eating three courses we were in the restaurant for less than an hour. Our server was good though. As far as our food, it was just ok. It looked amazing, and the portions were large, but the actual flavor of the food was just a little bland. Each dish felt like it was missing something. First, they bring you out a fresh loaf of crusty bread but they don't offer any olive oil or butter to dip it in. The bruschetta was missing the balsamic drizzle and also needed more olive oil. The wedge salad was good. The pollo vesuvio was good but was a bit bland, and the short rib raviolis were also a bit lacking. We couldn't really pinpoint what was missing in our entrees, but they were both definitely lacking some sort of seasoning that would have turned them from ok to very good. For dessert we got the cannolis. Big mistake. They were the worst cannolis that I have ever had. The shells were absolutely awful- They were very hard and had a bitter, almost chemical taste. The upside was that the filling was good. This restaurant has a lot of potential with a few tweaks to some of the recipes. I'm not sure that we'll be back though, which is disappointing because I really wanted to love it.

The garlic bread was loaded with garlic chunks and calamari was very tender! However, there was nothing too special about lasagna and halibut was very dry. Mushroom, sauce, and especially the add-on scallop on the halibut dish were fantastic, but the main ingredient was very disappointing. Maybe the halibut is usually not this dry; otherwise, it can justify the price they are charging.

The parking lot was plowed pretty well but it was full and hard to navigate. Steep spots make it a bit difficult for the handicap crowd so keep that in mind. The place has a great look both outside and in. And it was perfectly heated in there! No small feat in this cold. We had a reservation and everything went smoothly, despite a few of our group showing up late and two kids who are hard to please, which the staff handled amazingly. Our server was really great, top notch home style service from start to finish. She interacted and joked with the kids and even brought them some crayons and coloring sheets. Above and beyond. We were near the bar and I could hear regulars making small talk throughout the meal which was fun. A real friendly vibe here, loved that. We started with some potato and cheese pierogi as an appetizer while we waited for our late party members. Delicious and authentic! The shape and texture on these things... wow. You can tell these are legit right away. Bacon on top is a perfect touch. I had a cherry Pepsi to drink and they actually add cherry syrup to the Pepsi?! I haven't had a soda like that in years, no one bothers to do that anymore. It's so much better. I know I'm gushing about a soda but it really elevated my meal. I loved the pierogi so much I decided to get the all meat style as my entree. Also fantastic and more filling. It came with soup or salad, but pickle soup was an option I couldn't resist. That's something I'd never had the pleasure of trying and I'd get it every time! A great blend of dill herb flavor with a light pickle flavor, it's an amazing opener. Almost forgot about the bread basket! Again, you just don't see this anymore. It's a nice touch, and I enjoyed some rye bread with my soup. A gentleman with an accordion sang my grandma happy birthday and gave her a free imported chocolate bar. Really sweet. My uncle got a different song and I'll tell you this and only this, it was amazing! This man lifted the mood and we really needed that, we were all feeling really worn down. We had a plethora of dessert options. Both of the birthday duo went with the napoleon, I got to have a bite and it was perfectly creamy. I HAD to have the lemon cake. I'm a sucker for lemon pastries and this cake would be worth coming in for on its own. Sweet and tart with beautiful layers, can't say enough about this one! What a fun night we had! It's always chaotic getting my family together for something like this and we left in better moods than we arrived. That's a testament to the quality of food and service we received, and I'll be back in a smaller group soon to try some more appetizers and get my new favorite soup and cake again!

I understand training is necessary, but the situation felt disorganized and unfortunately reflected poorly on the restaurant overall.
