Food: ok. We had the trifecta (spicy Cajun spice, lemon pepper and garlic butter). Had a sweetness to it. Portion size for 2 was ideal. Just enough food to hit the spot. Service: fine. Ambiance: cute decor. Sink near bar where you can wash your hands. (They don't have alcohol on the menu.) Overall: cool please.

A great place for seafood boil! Not many places in Lake county with this selection of food and it was great! Server was attentive and speedy made sure we had everything we needed. Drinks are individual bottles, so they are taking care of customers with COVID scares. Ordered the single #1 Snow crab legs Shrimp Sausage Potato Corn In a garlic butter sauce Also comes with crab fried rice and French fries Again, really liked the vibe of our server. He was on top of the service and gave a great dining experience. Joked a bit, attentive, and constantly making sure we had space at our table.

My daughter decided to treat us to some seafood. We were really sad when sake sake closed down, but we're excited when we found out it was going to be a seafood restaurant. The food was good. The boil bags were well seasoned, and well portioned. For 4 people, our bill came out to $180. Not terrible for crab ‍ Cons- canned/bottled drinks only. Which means no refills. And they're priced $2 & up. The crab fried rice was extremely bland. I would not order that again. Our server was nice. He took us in at 7:45pm when the restaurant closes at 8:30. (We were headed out at that time!) he was the only server and was busting his butt to wait tables and take to go orders. Would absolutely come here again

I just visited after golfing! It was so delicious than I expected! I visited other Louisiana style crab in IL, this place is best taste-(not too salty, not too hot) than others! I will definitely visit again. (In the picture: Cajun Elotes, Cajun ShrimpHeadless Shrimp,Seafood Boil)

Really liked this place! First thing to note - BYOB!! We came in and got seated right away. The staff here is really cool and gave us prompt service. We ordered so much food and really enjoyed our boils. My boil came with fries and crab fried rice on the side which was really tasty. The boil consisted of crab legs, shrimp, potatoes, sausage, and covered in their trifecta sauce, which became with some heat! Everything was delicious and will definitely come back!

All shrimp was dirty.

very friendly service , Crab was Very good. unfortunatley the shrimp was filthy.. the garlic biscuits are so delish!

The remainder of our feast (forgot to take a pic beforehand)

This was our 3rd time ordering from here and it is sooo good! We got 2 lbs of shrimp 3 pounds of crab legs a pound of crawfish, corn and sausage. We were able to feed 6 people with this much food & still had left overs. We got the trifecta sauce but not to spicy and it was perfect. I would definitely recommend ordering take out!

I love this place! I visited this restaurant last week and between my girlfriend and I our total bill was $98.00. Sure, this can be an expensive place to visit, but seafood isn't cheap. I was very happy with what I got. I ordered dungeness crab, shrimp, mussels, corn, and potato. I asked for my order to be VERY SPICY and IT WAS! I was impressed at how spicy it was because I am constantly ordering "very" spicy things that my 5 year old can eat. This was actually VERY SPICY. The place was very clean and there is enough parking. The only thing I would change about this place is possibly having them add a non-seafood option for those people (who don't like seafood) accompanying us seafood lovers. I will be visiting again soon!

Thumbs up!

Wouldn't sit tables 45 mins before they close. Smelled good. Probably won't be back to try.

The trifecta sauce on any seafood boil type is the BOMB! It is pricey but well worth it in the Lake County, IL area.

Food was good. But the service was bad. Super rude waiter. Had the service been better I'd give them 4 stars.

I stopped in here while I was waiting to join a book club. I tried the Bao of the day :barbecued…read morepork , the spicy chicken, dumpling, and the Ramen of the day, which was a yellow curry. along with a Tokyo old-fashioned as my drink. I will describe the place as more of a modern take on Ramen with Korean elements. everything tasted excellent in my opinion. I was torn between getting the yellow curry, Ramen of the day or the pork belly Ramen. To help with the decision They gave me a side of their pork broth to try for the next time I come in. So I ordered the yellow curry Ramen of the day since the pork belly is on their menu daily. The broth for both was so good. Since it was just me dining, I did have plenty of leftovers which were just as good a couple days later. Especially since the tofu in the Ramen really soaked up some of the flavor of the broth. I will definitely come here again, especially for that Tokyo old-fashioned. It was delicious. It was made with a tequila versus a whiskey and I think about it every day.

We always check out a menu before we go somewhere because my daughter and I are vegetarian so we need to make sure there are options. Now let me tell you - the veggie burger is so tasty loaded with flavor. And I got three meals out of it! We also LOVED the umami fries that we got without the fish these were so epic and so tasty And don't you dare leave without getting the saganaki Bao bun! Holy sh** it's so good! Outside of food we also love the ambiance because it's bustling. Coming from living in the city I hate sitting at a quiet restaurant especially when our daughter joins. Nick- great job and thanks for the veggie burger
