Ooh yes! Amazingly flavorful food and drinks! Excited to come back there again! Tried fried avocado, umami fries and sumo ramen.

My husband and I were super excited to visit & it did not disappoint! The vibe is very cool & different. Service staff is lovely, very knowledgeable, and everyone is so so kind. And of course food & drinks are a 10/10. Definitely a must hit if you're looking for some yummy, warm, comfort food or if you want to impress folks with a unique menu & experience!

They're back by popular demand and you know what's the best part of this return? The flavors are CONSISTENT and JUST AS DELICIOUS as last year! Guys you only have a small window of time to check this place out, so make sure you do! And make sure you tip the hard working staff! They are so friendly and give great recommendations. Well done guys! Please find a permanent home so we can see you more often!

Pork Belly Ramen

I came here with one of my friends and we started off with the cheeseburger egg rolls which were really good. What really ruined our experience was the ramen. We ordered the pork belly ramen at first. And we are not picky eaters whatsoever, we've also tried ramen from so many different places. However, the ramen here was not good, the broth was not it. We let our waitress know we did not like the broth and wanted to see if we could get some other ramen, we thought maybe it was just the pork ramen. We swapped it for the chicken shoyu which was at least eatable, but still not so good. If you come here I'd stick to appetizers and drinks. Also the food does take quite some time to get out.

First time here and can't wait to come back. Food was perfectly tour guided. Not sure which is better the service or the food.

Delicious food. Loved the fried avocado and cheeseburger egg rolls to start. Ramen of course is great!

Worst ramen I've ever had. The broth was cold when the ramen was served, and the broth was too salty and tasted nothing like tonkutso broth.

This is hands down the best spot in downtown Libertyville for dinner. The lighting, music, vibe,…read moreand service are top-notch, and the food and cocktails are absolutely incredible. Our server Chad explained the menu in detail, offered recommendations, and took great pride in the restaurant. Everything is made from scratch, and they have a beautiful open kitchen. We started with the octopus, which our friends and Chad both recommended, and it lived up to the hype. They sous vide it so it's super tender, then crisp it for that little crunch you want in an octopus appetizer. The romesco and chorizo combo had us scraping the plate clean. For dinner, my husband had the hanger steak served with a large bone filled with bone marrow, along with brioche, truffle butter, and the Aligot and Brussels sprouts for sides. The Brussels and butternut squash were sweet, spicy, crispy, and salty - just amazing. I had the monkfish, which is very similar to lobster, and it was delicious! For dessert, we shared the crème brûlée, and like everything else we ate tonight, we left no crumbs. We can't wait to go back!

This spot is located right in the heart of downtown Libertyville. I absolutely loved this place and…read moreI'll definitely be a "regular." They fully embrace shopping local for their ingredients. The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxing. The interior gives a modern industrial feel. We especially liked the bartender, Brandon. Brandon very was good spirited, and his cocktails were phenomenal. He also gave us some tips on when the farmers markets take place and where to go for live music. Overall, the food was very well seasoned and packed with flavor. The chicken was moist and tender. Probably one of the best pieces of chicken I've ever had. The burger was also absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this spot.

Make no doubt about it the food is great. 4 star great. How did they ever turn this into a 1 star…read morereview? We were not regulars. It is a noisy place full of older customers that know everyone in the place. Lots of customers hugging the staff, talking with the owners, and other tables. A great atmosphere if you are a local. One of the owners even suggested carrot cake for our desert. Really good by the way. We did see a number of regulars tables that were receiving complimentary appetizers. I get it, but you should treat first time customers the same to make them repeat customers? The issue was with service and how we were treated after we had to get service. Our server disappeared once our main course was ordered. Yes the place was packed, but the server made sure she kept on touching base with the regulars tables and we received less attention. Well like no attention. Well like we had to go to the bar to one of the owners to get our check. Well and when my significant other tried to comment that we had a lack in service the owner walked away from us. She turned a really nice first time experience into a never going back and write a bad review experience. (And my significant other was mad the whole evening, which made the event worse for me.) So even though I wanted to at least give them a 2 star review I had to tie it back to the tip we gave of $1. Regretfully we will not be going back to The Green Room.

I typically can always count on Green Room serving up great food and drinks, however my last visit…read morewas a bit of a disappointment. I ordered the Pad Thai with tofu, the staple menu item I order each time I visit. My guest ordered the Mongolian beef. My pad Thai came out visibly different than times past. It looks almost watered down and the tofu was not coated and seared with the beautiful crust it normally has. I ate it and it tasted... sour. Normally this pad Thai leans savory over sweet, but this time it just straight up tasted sour. The tofu was nothing to write home about, which is typically not the experience I have here. The Mongolian beef tasted like it had more sear on the meat than actual beef. It tasted over-charred. The rice and veggies were good, but that's kind of a simple feat. I ordered the Pomegrantate martini which was good. The space was also very hot, I understand it's a hot day and a busy restaurant but my legs were dripping in sweat the entire hour we were there. I will give them a try again, because I know from previous experiences the pad Thai was usually great. That tofu is what I keep coming back for! Hopefully next time it'll meet my expectations. This was this past weekend on Friday night.
