Love this place and it has a great view of Turtle lake. We had used the private event room. It was the perfect for our size of group. They have a large screen TV where we could do a slide show. Located on Turtle Lake, Delevan Wisconsin! The lake is fed by a fresh water spring so it is very healthy. (Other lakes can have duck rash from the shore, very irritating and painful for children.) Not very touristy, Many adult beverages located right on the beach so you can come in with a pontoon boat and eat and drink. read more

What. A. View. Situated right on the shore of Turtle Lake, Turtle Lake Tap & Grill has an amazing patio overlooking the lake. We were strawberry picking in the area, searched Yelp for nearby lunch spots and this spot came up. We had no idea the loveliness in store. We got a seat on the patio. While we were there, they also had live music happening on the patio that was the perfect accompaniment to the sunshiny patio lounging. For my lunch, I got a Santa Fe salad, which consists of mixed greens, black beans, corn, pico, pickled onions, topped with a few crispy tortilla strips and southwest ranch. If was a perfectly refreshing lunch for a warm summer day. Their menu has a variety of salads, apps, sandwiches, hot dogs, and pizza. I didn't have a cocktail but they do have a full bar and the table next to us got a Mai Thai that looked particularly lovely. Get to it! read more

Loved the perch tacos for a lunch stop first time. A few beers on tap and if you like drink creations I'm thinking you will love theirs. The views are amazing for a great experience at the end of the lake. read more

We visit TL at least once a week! The owners and staff are so friendly, and the food is delicious, so much better than your typical bar food. Our new favorite thing to do is to stop in for dinner on Thursday nights and stay for Trivia Night (although I almost hate to say it, because its like a hidden little gem!). The outdoor patio has the absolute best sunsets, and although I take a picture of it every time I am there, it never does it justice! We took advantage of that patio well into November...with the owners moving out the heaters and tv for us! If you haven't stopped in for the food or cocktails I would highly recommend it! This is a hidden gem on the shore of Turtle Lake. The food, service and general atmosphere are top notch. There is a great outdoor space and live music on the weekends. For my Delavan friends this is a short 10 minute drive that is well worth it. I recommend the chicken sandwich or tacos read more

We have been looking for a lake perch fish fry since Freddy's West End closed. About a half hour drive from our Fontana home, Turtle Lake Tap & Grill will be our nice weather fish fry joint! A nice portion of perch, two excellent potato pancakes and an unbelievably picturesque view make this a keeper. The only thing that kept me from awarding a five star review was the $22 price (a tad steep, not unreasonable) and the cook was a bit to into Salt Bae imitation that evening - everything was a tad too salty. read more

We stopped in on a Friday. On the whiteboard it showed cosmo as the cocktail special. Woman behind the bar had to look it up, it was subpar. We we're going to try the fish fry until we read it was $17 for a two piece fish fry! Beer taps weren't working so my husband had to order a bottle. Of the hundreds of other places we could try we did just that. Not too far away we discovered an all-you-can-eat fish fry for much less and it was excellent. Based on some of the other reviews we drove up from McHenry, IL to try this place out. The best thing about it was the view. We ordered burgers which were overcooked, dry and cold. It took a long time to get our food. The wait staff seemed very overwhelmed and not that friendly. Not worth the drive and will not be going back! read more
