Love this place, food is fantastic and Bud the server took amazing care of us. This is always a go to for our family when coming to visit my father (who is a regular). read more

We've been to Jonathan's several times because the food is excellent, staff AND owner are very friendly, and the decor is terrific. Without a doubt THE best restaurant in the Lake Geneva area. Nothing else seems to come close! My only wish is that making reservations could be easier, because the current system is not very efficient. read more

It's a beautiful Place, but terrible service. Gave them a few previous chances, but will never be back read more

We stopped at Jonathan's after having dinner down the street for dessert because we heard their creme brûlée was good. There was ample street parking and the restaurant was busy. My husband and I split the dessert and I paired it with espresso. It was the perfect way to end the evening. Service was really good and the ambiance was nice and upscale. read more

This has been the best restaurant that we've eaten at in the area. The menu is fantastic, the food is great, and the service is excellent. Our appetizers and dessert were the stars of the show. The place felt more upscale than most places in the area. The only thing detracting from that was the gambling machines which cheapened the experience. However the food was great and we will be back! read more

We've been going to Johnathon's for years. The last dinner we had there was not so good. It looked and tasted like our meals sat under a heat lamp for quite a while. Not the good quality fresh food we are used to from there. read more

The restaurant has wonderful food however, I was totally appalled when we had already waited 30 minutes for just our soup and over an hour and 15 minutes for our dinner. we were there for our mother's birthday and reminded the staff that it was her birthday, and our waiter came over with a tablespoon of sherbet and set it in front of her and said nothing. Then the owner had the audacity to come to our table, started picking up our silverware and said. "we have people waiting for this table that have been here waiting for a long time." Spent $420 on dinner and that's the service that we received. read more

Great service with Bud as our waiter. My husband loves their pork chop and luckily was on the menu again. Happy man!! I'd not order the prime rib special again . Just didn't taste right. The coconut shrimp were outstanding as an appetizer. Drinks are really food too. We will definitely be back. read more

Tonight was our first time to the restaurant. We live in Florida and came to the restaurant with friends who have a place on Lake Delavan. We went to the bar after checking in to have a cocktail. We were rather rudely greeted by a punk rock looking bartender. He prepared our drinks and stood with his back to us even though there were only 3 other customers at the bar. I tried to chat him up and got another rude two word response. Not a good start. Dakota, our server, did a fine job greeting us and taking our orders. I started with a very tasty spinach with hot bacon dressing salad. I lived in Milwaukee as a kid and it reminded me of the great dinners at Maders. Excellent salad! Our hosts had a dinner salad and the squash soup. All tasty. My wife ordered the Chix Jonathon and I the Chix Marsala with extra Mushrooms. The Chix Jonathon was terrific. My marsala was a disappointment in that instead of a thicker gravy type sauce it was a broth. It was watery and not real flavorful. The side vegetables were terrific. Our hosts each had ribeyes and they loved them saying the best steaks in weeks. We finished with carrot cake and key lime pie. I have lived in Florida for 30yrs and the Keys for a large part of it. I think I know key lime pie. This was the real deal! Excellent! I thought the carrot cake was dry and not the greatest. Just ok. Tiffany , the owner, came by and thanked us as our dinner ended. Nice touch! read more

Drove by here several times while going through main street Delavan, and decided this time we would stop and try it out. Semi casual steak and chophouse. On weekends, I highly recommend reservations. Quite an extensive variety of dishes, primarily steak and seafood. I had the surf and turf. Everything was cooked to perfection! Crab cake appetizers were also great. A little pricey, but I would definitely eat there again. read more

Jonathan’s on Brick Street - Salad Near Me - Delavan, Wisconsin

Went for apps on a Friday night and had the best (and biggest) coconut shrimp I've ever had! So delicious served with a mango salsa and sweet chili sauce. Calamari was also good. A wide menu selection of fish option from Mahi to Red Snapper but we were full but I will definitely be back soon! Also had a very complete wine list. Don't miss out but make a reservation. Outside is nice too. Service is top notch! read more

This place is a gem. Worth driving out of the way to get there. The staff is top notch and fantastic. The food is amazing. I had the pork tenderloin and I would do it again. If you are anywhere near them go go go read more

I recently experienced Jonathan's on Brick Street for dinner and was not disappointed... My sister made arrangements for a babysitter and also made us a reservation for four... it was a double date night for my husband and I as well as my sister and bro-in-law. What a treat! Jonathan's provides a classy ambiance with good vibes all around. We found street parking and checked in with the hostess stand. We took some photos in the entry area and were seated promptly. Service was extremely attentive, and we enjoyed the majority of our food and drinks. For appetizers, we had the calamari and scallops - both were delicious. My sister and I shared a Caesar Salad with shrimp, which was also very good. My husband / bro-in-law raved about the Chicken Piccata and Kansas City NY Strip on special. The only item that was not so good was the pasta... it was super rich for our taste. We definitely did not need desserts but we ordered them anyways... a carrot cake and a key lime pie provided a sweet ending to a memorable evening. This was a pricey meal but if you're looking for a date night or special meal with family or friends, it's worth the splurge. Enjoy! read more

Food was good, but not great for the money. Service was very good and the place is nice.

We last minute snagged an early reservation for date night dinner and were really impressed with the food. The restaurant itself was no-frills and simple, but the food was what stood out! Our service was great as well. We started with a nice bottle of red and enjoyed the jumbo sea scallops for an appetizer. This was a delicious dish with some fresh arugula, and we also got some French onion soup which was tasty. We went with the dry aged ribeye special and the seafood stuffed walleye. Both were delicious- especially the ribeye was so flavorful and great quality. I like how the dishes came with veggies and a starch - the truffle red potatoes were an excellent side. The garden salad side I ordered was also a great portion with delicious homemade ceasar dressing. The food overall was excellent all around and at stellar prices. The espresso martini was also a delicious cocktail. read more

Disappointed in last evenings experience. Last minute reservations, took bar seating because time was better. It was obvious that the bartenders provided better service to "regulars". Not one bartender asked if we wanted a refill on our cocktails, never cleared plates from appetizers, had to ask for steak knife. On either side of us steak knifes were placed right after ordering, appetizer plates cleared when finished with them. Food was sub-par from our past experiences. We both ordered prime rib. It was very fatty amd tough, flavor was ok but too much salt. Yes we order prime rib often and various restaurants, so we know a good flavor profile. We may only frequent Jonathan's a handful of times a year, but we always felt we were getting great value for the price. Last night was definitely not one of those nights, I feel we way overpaid for the quality and service. read more

Jonathon's has incredible food, knowledgeable staff and provides a best-in-class experience for the area, hands down. Highly recommend the coconut shrimp appetizer, sea bass and any grouper on the menu. The desserts , especially the carrot cake, are worth every dime. Sit at the bar. The staff and service are combined with food quality not available anywhere else in the area. read more

Had our 51st anniversary dinner today. Bud our server was very helpful with recommending food and wines. Both our dinners were sea food. I had stuffed walleye and wife had a seafood medley over angled hair pasta. Both were awesome. Large servings. A little pricey but for our anniversary well worth it. read more

The food is amazing. The Friday Bluegill fish fry is wonderful, melts in your mouth.

Maybe the best restaurant in Southern Wisconsin. Great menu with a nice variety of fish and meats. The pita with artichoke dip is a winner of an appetizer. Great service that adds that family feel without the drama. Good for small groups and kids. They seem to have something for everyone. I think if you eat here you won't be disappointed. read more

This place is a home run every single time! We have been here many times, always perfect everything. The food is OFF of the charts!!!! Melt in your mouth, gourmet, superb, delicious, generous portions. The service is 5 star and Jonathan is almost ALWAYS in to check on his guests too!!! Perfect choice to dine indoor or on the patio. Added bonus, darling little place, very clean, bathrooms are also very clean at all times! read more

We've been here numerous times and though super expensive it has always been excellent. Tonight was the first time it was awful. The lamb was inedible due to it being tough and fatty and the calamari appetizer was raw. We're very disappointed. Tonite will be our last time there. DISAPPOINTING! read more

We were given a gift card for Christmas and finally made our way in. I can't believe we waited so long! The food was AWESOME! The decor, service, food, drinks, and overall ambiance were fantastic. There were 3 of us in our party. We all shared each other's appetizers as well as entrees. Everything was delicious. All 3 of us liked everything we ate and drank. The server was very friendly, helpful with suggestions, and on top of everything. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing food as well as great service. read more

Jonathan didn't miss. Drinks...delicious; food...amazing! We ordered the specials-usually means food to sell fast, not this time. Seriously the finest meal we have eaten in a long time. Side note...they were booked so we ate at the bar, it made no difference we were treated as #1 priority. The bar tender Adam replicated a drink that I enjoyed at another establishment but made it better. We will be back. Thank you for an enjoyable evening. Side note, Adam made the night-give him a raise! Ask for the Gigi, it's delicious! read more

I came into Delevan for some supplies & we stumbled across Jonathan!s on brick street. Opens at 1600, Definitely need to call For reservations. Jay at the bar is very knowledgeable. I usually love Jonathan's and come here when in Lake Geneva. I was here twice last month. Both times we had Bud as a server. Great service, engaging and knows the menu well. I love the grouper cheeks that are on special occasionally but missed them on my last two visits. Earlier in July, Bud recommended the halibut done piccata style. It was melt in your mouth delicious! He said it would be a good close second to the the grouper cheeks. He was right. On my last visit with girlfriends, I had the grouper prepared piccata style. What a difference. I don't know what happened but the fish didn't taste good and the sauce was not the same. Piccata style is so simple, lemon, white wine and lots of lemon. Plus the grouper was not moist and tender. They missed the mark this time. I didn't make a dent in the dish. And my girlfriend felt the same. A big fail. I do have to say the alfredo flatbread starter was amazing, as was the French onion soup. Good cocktails, too. Bud took care of everything and took the uneaten dinners off our bill. Without us saying anything but we didn't enjoy our dinners when he saw our plates hardly touched. We. Of course, tipped well on the total bill because Bud was excellent. Just an off night in the kitchen. I Even with this experience, I will go back because usually everything is great here. Make sure to make reservations, though, as it is a popular spot. read more

Overall very happy with the food selection and quality. I think the mixed identity of fine dining/sports bar vibe is a bit awkward; I would rather there not be TVs. A bit loud in the restaurant. Staff are wonderful and made great recommendations. read more

Wonderful atmosphere and delicious dinner. We were fortunate to find an up front, nice and close parking spot on the Main Street directly in front of Jonathan's. A handicap accessible ramp to the front door was an option that we appreciated. Warm greeting from hostess, well prepared drinks at the bar before being seated to eat. We always arrive early to be able to have a drink or two at the bar. We were very happy they did not rush us to be seated. Great dinner table for two and service from James. Timing of each course was perfect, as was our A+ meal. Oysters to appetize, spinach salad, ribeye, and lamb loin. We will make the fifty minute drive again, as this was such a positive dining experience. read more

My wife and I had an excellent experience here. Our server could not have been more friendly and his recommendations were superb. The Oyster duet (Rockefeller and Casino) were simply outstanding, as was the baked french onion soup. My Ribeye was cooked perfectly, but my wife got a mixed grill fish special that had grouper, swordfish and halibut that stole the show. We got a high top table at the bar, providing an ambiance that was refined without being pretentious. I will definitely be back to try the Rocky Mountain mixed grill. read more

Excellent service ... fine dining in Delavan... stuffed shrimp was superb... wine choice was excellent. Our waiter was top notch!!!o

We do love the food there. Service is really good, and it's a super cute restaurant very clean in downtown Delavan. One visit stands out to me, and I wish I could describe the dish better for everyone , but it was a thick pork chop sliced, smoked with a lot going on I remember blueberries, and a mashed potato's, and it being crazy good. I sure hope to order that again one day. It would be nice to know the daily specials in advance so we can look forward to our favorite dishes. Always a good time there. Thank you Jonathan's read more
