The more things change, the more they stay the same. It appears that some of the wall paneling has changed, but everything else felt just like old times. They used to have a large monitor on the wall to your left when you first walked in. I think it was about 200 inches, but then again, I'm exaggerating. All I know is that I wish I had it in my house! They even had game controllers set up for the ultimate gaming experience. That area has since been converted into an office, but the arcade remains, so the kids can still have an awesome time. They also still have the kiddie bowling, which today, and for the next few days, is free for children. The adult bowling lanes remain, as do the restaurant, bar, and outdoor volleyball area. The food is still just as good as I remember, and the service remains top-notch. We had a very pleasant server who took great care of me, my two sons, and my two grandchildren. As you can see from the photo I submitted, we ate like five adults! We had pepperoni and supreme pizzas, a Chicago dog, wings, tater tots, and sliders for the kids. Now, if you know me, you know I'm from the Chicago area, so if you put a Chicago dog on your menu, I'm going to test you to see if you're doing things right. They did indeed do things right with this one! The pizza was just as good as I remembered, as were the wings. The tater tots were delicious--nice and crunchy and served piping hot--and the kids absolutely devoured their sliders. All in all, it was an awesome experience and a reminder that I need to make the trip to Rule 3 more often.
