I'm positive it's how they key it in. Point is even if that were true. Everyone else at this location has figured out the work around. Instead of high stress noises and snide comments like "Really? Over some change?" maybe attempt something that pacifies the customer. Then you can make true your statement of "Just get him out of my window" Look. My first cup of Tim Horton in Central Ohio was at this location (Central Ohio's first Tim Horton's). I remember it well. My wife was driving and we went through the drive thru. As well pulled away I took my first sip and just closed my eyes. My wife asked "well how is it?" And I said "just give me a minute to cherish the moment." It was that good and that memorable. Referring to the Tim Horton's on Route 256 in Pickerington, OH. I applaud the efforts of Associates Tiffany (nickname Fanny), Aaron, Zeka, Journey, and Keith. Each and everyone of these people are very personable and are interested in providing outstanding Customer Service. On the down side side, it appears that this location is understaffed. Certainly, with the culture of the job market as it is these days, hiring and retaining employees is an uphill battle. In this regard, Tiffany surely does her best. I love Tim Horton and I am always left satisfied with my purchases, but this time has been an appalling exception. I went to order two 40 packs of the assorted mix of timbits. I am aware that that pack includes blueberry, glazed, honey glazed, bday cake, and the crowd favorite, chocolate. I only had to wait 1:45 seconds for my order to be completed and handed to me by an angry worker. This is not the way I wanted to start my day. I should have been given a fresh batch of these donuts being so early and the only person in the store. Also since I was the only one in the store so early before anyone else could order, you would think there would be chocolate donuts in my assorted timbits pack. But I came to find out that those were lacking. Not just lacking but completely missing! This is not acceptable behavior for this national institution! Went through the drive thru this morning. No wait, no one behind me. If it is possible for drive thru service to be horrible, they succeeded. I ordered a Mocha, and six donuts. The Woman taking my order was beyond rude when I asked her to repeat it. The donuts were scrunched into a small bag, this resulted in the Nutella blossom- their current special being smeared over a few of the other donuts. So everyone got Nutella regardless of their order. And if the rudeness and Nutella donuts were not enough to be annoying, the order was wrong - two out of six Nutella smeared donuts were wrong. They were not busy through the drive thru, perhaps she was having a bad day. The order being wrong I can accept - they are donuts after all, but the attitude and rudeness are unacceptable. Had a highly dissatisfied experience. Came to this Tim Hortons looking to get some doughnuts, so I went inside since their door was unlocked, and went to talk to the woman at the counter who seemed rude and unhelpful. She immediately told me that "their dining room was closed because of COVID" (even though we were both wearing masks and they had shields at the registers for the customers, and a sign on their door stating that customers had to wear masks if they came inside) even though their door was unlocked, and I wasn't planning on eating there anyway. I was just going to grab and go. I then asked if I could do a carry out, and the lady acted like she had no idea what that meant. I then explained it to her and she said that I could order through the drive thru. The location in Canal Winchester allows customers to come inside and carry out. I then asked if they had doughnuts, to which she replied that they just sold the last one out the drive thru. Upset at this, I left and will never return to this location. read more

The Pickerington location on Hill Rd is awful. We love Tim Hortons but before we go to this one, we always say, how much do you want to bet they won't have what we ask for? They are always out of 2-3 of the menu items we try to order every single time for lunch or dinner through the drive-thru. Example: Pretzel bagel for the sandwiches. The vanilla cream-filled donuts are always pathetic. It's like a child tried to make them. Finding cream inside is actually surprising and the tops are very poorly decorated, not like you find at the nicer locations of Tim Hortons. The customer service is extremely off & on. Sometimes you'll get nice, sometimes rude. I've had wrong orders handed to me out the window, I always check in the bag, I have to hand them right back. Service after 12p is horrible... Today I waited over 20 minutes in the drive thru and was only the third car in line... When I got to the window the girl was complaining how slow the day had been going (no, good afternoon or sorry about the wait or even the price of what I was getting..... I just handed her money). Several weeks ago my wife went to get coffee at 8:20 PM (they close at 9 PM) and was told they had already cleaned and it would take approximately 20-25 minutes to make new coffee..... Just completely astounded at the complete lack of work ethic and supervision at this location . Grant it, I know a lot of the workers are in school and need extra money but these folks will have a rude awakening when the real world opens to them... I now drive out of my way to another Tim Hortons to spend my money..... There are a couple stars that work here during the early morning rush that I see on a regular basis working there tail off and always give a smile and say, Have a nice day... My husband and I visited this Tim Hortons during the lunch hour today. We went inside to eat. The place was not busy inside. I approached the counter to place our order. It appeared that the 7-8 employees were occupied, possibly taking care of drive thru customers. I stood at the counter for several minutes without any acknowledgement of my presence. Employees passed me, going in and out of the back room. Finally, after about 6 minutes, a young employee took my order and went to prepare it. That's when I noticed a sign attached to the window where the food is prepared. It read, " Please DO NOT STARE while food is being made. Thank you " Apparently they don't want you to watch them make your food. Hmmm. We received our food and sat in the dining room to eat. Then my husband decided to go up to order a donut. Again, a long wait to be acknowledged. Employees passing by him, in and out of the back room. He waited about 15 minutes , with a line of other customers growing behind him, then finally asked "Can somebody come work this cash register?" Another young employee reluctantly approached the register to take his order. We were not very happy about the service at this Tim Hortons today. read more
