Amazing, unique fresh donuts! Food: 5/5. The make their donuts fresh so they are warm when we get them. They have an amazing variety. We ordered the assortment of 12 donuts and they were all fantastic! Service: 5/5. Great service! It was quick and the employees were nice. Atmosphere: 5/5. Typical fast casual donut place. Exactly what you would expect. Kid friendly: 5/5. One word... donuts!

Hands down the best donut in Meridian, Eagle and Boise area. Each donut is hand prepared per order. The batter is good and it stayed soft even the day after. So guaranteed that the donut you ordered has not been sitting in the shelf because you'll see it come out of the fryer before they make it for you. The batter is not terribly sweet which I imagined will be just as good plain as it is all dressed up with toppings. The beauty of the donut is that it balances the perfect amount of sweetness with whatever toppings you choose. I bought a dozen at $20 which comes out to about $1.66 each donut plus tax. A lot cheaper than Krispy Kreme but miles better. I believe each donut is $2.50 if you buy by itself. The store is clean and the staff I've met are all quite friendly. I've been coming every day since I discovered it. Can't believe I've lived in Eagle and not tried this before. I won't be going back to Mojo's or Krispy Kreme for donuts anymore since this is truly so much better and fresher. The only way to eat donut is the way these guys make it. Their restroom is very clean but they don't have toilet seat liners. I had to use a lot of toilet tissue paper to cover the lid. So I'm hoping the staff I spoke to, will notify the owners that they need to provide toilet seat liners for staff and customers. They are open until 9 pm on Friday and Saturday. They are open everyday so that makes it nice since most places here in Idaho are close on Sunday. I'll definitely come back.

I've "heard" of this company before and when I saw it, I thought I'd give it a try. The donuts are smaller in size then the average donut. They are made fresh to order. We ordered three donuts (cookies and cream, strawberry sprinkles, and a chocolate frosted). We also ordered a breakfast sandwich with egg cheese and bacon. The lady asked us if we wanted it on a donut or on bread. We got it on bread. The breakfast sandwich was okay. Nothing too special about it. The donuts were cool, watched as they came off the fryer and the lady working frosted them according to what we ordered. They were warm and yummy. It is worth checking out

If you like donuts made fresh to order, go to Duck Donuts! It's pretty cool to watch the staff cook & decorate each donut, esp a dozen.

I am not a huge donut fan but we picked up some of these today and I was very pleasantly surprised. Inside is very clean and modern with great ambiance for a donut shop. Staff was also very friendly and answered all the questions we had with smiling faces. We decided on a mix 6 pack, bacon in the sun and coconut island bliss. Have to say these were pretty good for donuts lol as I mentioned not the biggest fan of them , but for what they are this is one donut I would repeat. My wife in the other hand loved them! We would for sure go back and possibly try out some of the other custom made options they offer.

Duck Donuts is no regular donut shop. They fry and top the donuts to order. So, they are served to you full of warm, crunchy, gooey goodness. Eat them hot. They're OK once they cool off, but eating them fresh from the fryer makes them taste exponentially more delicious. They are similar to cake donuts in their consistency. You can order one of the dozens of available flavor combos or create your own. I recommend the blueberry pancake (self explanatory) and the sand dollar (vanilla and coconut.) Seating is limited-a few high top seats along two walls and one sit down table for four. Donuts are very reasonably priced at about $2 each.

I'd always heard the hype around these donuts but never got a chance to give them a try until now. Its a super cool concept--you place your order with the cashier as usual, but then they made your donut fresh right in front of you. You can watch them ice, decorate, and assemble your specific donut order and it's all with the same freshly made cake donut base. We chose the sunrise and cookies and cream, both of which were so good. I loved how they were warm when we got them--it made it so amazing. Would highly recommend trying duck donuts if you've never done so!

I Came all the way from California and these were the best donuts I've had! They were made fresh and served warm. Food and service 10/10!

We're in search of Duck donuts around America. Living on the road and retired enjoying the hunt. Meg was awesome in explaining the process of cooking and assembling our favorites. Also the gentleman (didn't get his name) was very informative about the operation. Thanks for putting Meridian on our map. Betty and Barry (Duck connoisseur s)

Today was our first visit and it definitely won't be our last! We can see why TJ is the employee of the month and I hope that Austin will be the employee of the month next! Both were so friendly. My daughter loved watching Austin decorate our donuts and he moved closer to us so she could see better. He talked to her about our mommy daughter day that we're having and she was so happy leaving that she told me she wants to come back and see him every day lol. A great start to our day together. Thanks for the awesome service!!

Nate B.

So, it's a fun schtick. They serve the doughnuts warm, and decorate them to order right in front of you. The same fast food theatre as Chipotle. But the doughnuts are all exactly the same underlying flavor and texture, therefore, and they have no "chew", they just fall apart in your mouth. I have a dark secret -- I dislike fresh doughnuts. The texture improves over time I feel. You get a nice crust and the crumb dries out a bit and it provides a better bite. I tried these a few hours after purchase and they were still just okay, Maybe just not my thing. It's fun that someone is trying a new experience in doughnuts, and this clearly is a winning formula. The staff were all fantastic and I am sure this is exactly what many people want, but I just didn't love it. Plus I ordered the pumpkin frappé and it didn't taste like coffee, even, much less pumpkin or spice or sugar. It was weird.

The pinnacle of donut eating is when it literally melts in your mouth because it was just cooked. When I heard about this place I had to check it out and they didn't disappoint! The staff was as in to their donuts as the customers and it was just a fun atmosphere. These are cake donuts that are covered in a variety of confections. How about blueberry anything, lemon raspberry, chocolate strawberry. Experience these warm, melt in your mouth donuts in Meridian! read more

Have never been a big donut fan ... Ooooooh my GOSH Duck Donuts has changed my mind and is now my ONLY go to donut place!! I chose the Raspberry Fluff & Coconut Island Bliss... Yummy warm & delicious CAKE donuts with the perfect combo of toppings!!!!!! The fact that it's best to use a utensil is perfect for me ... especially to scoop up drizzle remnants before they dry on the box. If you are brave enough to eat with your hands be sure to pick up the wet wipes they offer ... you'll need SEVERAL. Can't wait to try other flavors!! The fact that they are "made to order" AND have non-traditional donut shop hours is seriously EPIC... means I will never need to feel rushed whether it's for breakfast or an after meal dessert!! read more

Idaho seems to be a mecca for doughnut shops. They pop up here by the dozen! (Pun intended) The newest one to rise is called Duck Donuts. Im not a big donut fan, but we got a flyer in the mail offering a free donut and a breakfast sandwich for a dollar. I cant resist truing new things and even more so I love me a deal, so off my wife and I went. Duck is in the village by chipolte. The donuts are cake and not traditional yeast. They are all made to order, but fortunately, they have a lot of flyers around with suggestions on them of donuts combos they have come up with. The cake itself was pretty light and not dense like I expected. They look amazing, but unfortunately, the taste does not even come close to the look. The best one for me was the chocolate iced. The rest were just ok. My wife had a coffee. Im not a coffee drinker, so I have to rely here on here evaluation. She would not give me a lot to go on. She just said it was not good and thew it out. They shorted us 2 donuts, and overcharged us. We would up spending over $20 for 6 donuts, a bad coffee, and an ok breakfast sandwich. They also ran out of batter while we were there which meant we waited for quite a while before our donuts came out. As a former GM, when mistakes like this happened, that were our fault, I would either comp the customers order or give them a good discount. You only have 1 chance to make a good 1st impression on your customers. Especially when you are 3 weeks old. I am pretty sure that we wont be back. read more

Went to try Duck Donuts in Duck, NC and it was out-the-door waiting, so I knew I had to try them when I got back home. Totally worth it! Many, many ways to have your favorite treat made up. I love the "French Toast" donut! Maple & Bacon is the family favorite, but the simple sugar-cinnamon is a winner. We have more to try after we hike these off! I was pretty hesitant about this place as I am not a big fan of cake donuts. I have been hearing great things about them so I finally decided to try it. They have such a wide variety flavors. They have ice cream, smoothies, coffee and donuts. They make everything to order and their donuts are light and airy. The best way I can describe them is a light cake, not the traditional dense cake donut you think of. The donut was warm and melted in my mouth. The workers are super friendly and careful with your precious delectable delights! Glad I stopped by and I will definitely be back again! read more

I was driving near the location and my sister texted me... if you are near Duck Donuts ...drop some cash. They donated a dozen donuts to each floor of the hospital at St. Luke's (Meridian) during the pandemic. We went in. Super bubbly environment. Designed for your eye and nose. Greeted warmly by the man who I later learned is the part-owner. I was a bit negative ("just cake donuts?" No buttermilk bars? ). He weathered my vibe, had the staff make me a taster. Explained the process, didn't appear rushed (sorry to the lady and her 2 daughters behind us - but - I shared the taster as she was a first timer as well). Long story. Then we made it home. Made coffee. And started cutting donuts into 1/4s. The texture of the cake donuts ... flavors were/are worth your experience! I also want to compliment the young staff members who have been working there for 2 months. Great eye contact, manners and we watched them make their donut art. Todd, we'll be back! read more

Good idea in theory. They price themselves as a premium donut ($2/donut), but the taste is just average. Their base donut is small/medium size and dense, like an old fashioned or sour cream donut . The only differentiating quality is that you can customize their icing and thinned out icing they call "drizzle." If you're looking for innovative, try out Guru donuts. read more

I usually sit in a little corner right behind the area where they make their drinks and they bring it right out to me. I don't expect them to, but they always do so as a result I always tip. The coffee is pretty good. I always order the same thing everywhere I go - white mocha with amaretto. Thank dog Idaho likes amaretto; it's hard to find at coffee shops in California. My mocha is always right on the verge of too sweet, but not quite there. I should probably just ask for an extra shot of espresso or one less shot of amaretto. I'll do that next time and update on the taste portion here. The employees: super awesome friendly peeps. They always have a smile for me and a little bit of small talk. Kids said it was the best chocolate milk they have had. Not sure if there was anything special about what was in there, I should have tried it. All I know is they didn't leave any milk left in their cups. Wife and son shared the avocado toast and when I read the reviews on the avocado toast I didn't think avocado toast could really be "amazing". Let me just say ... WOW! Such a cute place! This was my first visit to this place, and it happened by chance! After leaving Marshalls, we were disappointed to find that Johnny Bronx Pizza was closed on Sundays. We pulled into a shaded parking spot to search for other options nearby, and when we looked up, there it was- right in front of us! We walked in at 2:55 p.m., just five minutes before closing, but didn't realize it until we were inside. Despite the late hour, the owner (at least, I think he was) welcomed us warmly, with no hint of frustration. The girls behind the counter were equally kind and sweet.Because we were the last customers of the day, the owner generously threw in three extra donuts for free! Typically, I prefer raised donuts, and if asked for the best in the valley, I'd usually recommend Country Donut. However, as someone who's never been a fan of cake donuts, this place truly surprised me! They make them fresh to order, and the quality blew me away. This spot is now my overall top donut place in the valley, and I'll be recommending it to everyone. Delicious! read more

Yes, you know but I didn't know if you remembered..... A sweet gal popped up with my boxes. Explained to me which box was what and sent me on my way. I got my goods and made my way home. When I was picking up the boxes, I noticed the warmth of the box and the weight. I can tell these were going to be heavy weight fritters. Opening the box, this baby was huge!
