Not all Starbucks are the same and there are plenty that are just plain corporate. I really like the Eagle and Franklin location for the following reasons 1. It's very personable. It's like Cheers but for coffee. I know Scarlet and several of the other baristas by name 2. There's outside patio seating as well as seating inside. The seating inside is portioned out nicely. Sure, there's the community table but there are nooks and two tops designed for solo coffee drinkers 3. The location. It's easy to get in and out. Some locations feel like you're driving in downtown Tijuana. I just want coffee not a wacky race Thanks Eagle and Franklin Starbucks, you're a fan favorite, I just wish more locations were like you. read more

This is the worst Starbucks in treasure Valley. You can usually count on them screwing up your order or if they don't they have really burnt terrible coffee. This store is quite unique. It has a kind of business professional type atmosphere probably because of its location right next to St. Luke's hospital and the tall Portico Office Tower in front of the store. Baristas are very courteous, polite, and very efficient. While I was ordering my coffee with the cashier, the barista was getting started on my drink. By the time I wamy wallet back in my pocket, my drink was ready. I was pleasantly surprised by this. Also, their north side wall is simply amazing. It's like nothing I've ever seen before and it really gives the store that special coffee feel. My only note is that tables are quite small and I had a hard time having more than one item out while I was doing homework. Nevertheless, this is a great spot to meet up on a date or simply catch up with a close friend. Really recommend you come check out this store and have a nice pumpkin spice latte. read more

One girl pretty much spent her working time while we were there sitting on a stool. Yelling across the store to people coming in and telling them 'we will' be right with you. 'We' obviously didn't mean her. The music level was great when we got there and then someone jacked it up so loud we had trouble talking to each other. The gal who took my order was not friendly at all. Not even a smile or greeting. And then when she handed me my drink, it had whipped cream on it (I said no whip), so I just politely asked if they could scrape it off and she got an attitude. And then didn't say anything else when she had in my drink back to me. I didn't even ask them to remake it, which I could have done. I just don't understand the rudeness and the annoyance when it was clearly an error on their part. I wasn't rude or snarky. I was actually smiling and very friendly. They make drinks adequately enough, and some of the employees are super friendly and know me on a first name basis, because I come sometimes 2 times in a day. I will not be returning to this location. I understand they may have needed to adjust their hours due to Covid-19, however, I found it incredibly frustrating that they refused service 1 minute before closing, with hours that are already earlier than their listed hours. Oh man, it was way too early in the morning when I rolled in here to take a picture while driving back from Las Vegas to Portland. It's a pretty standard Starbucks with a drive-through window that gives the standard Starbucks fare. It is exactly like any of the other million Starbucks across the United States although the staff was slightly friendlier than usual. Certainly more friendly than they had any reason to be at such a god-awful early time in the morning. Anyway the coffee is fine. The only other piece of information to note of interest is that if you're coming off of the freeway to this Starbucks, you will not be able to directly get back on the road toward the freeway. You will need to exit from the shopping center it is in and make a U-turn regardless of which exit you take. read more

There are two Starbucks in the valley that I would go out of my way to make sure I go to. The one that's on Milwaukee and Franklin, and then this one. The staff here so nice and friendly they always greet me with excitement and smiles, the fact that they can remember me even with all of their customers makes me feel great. Today "purely by accident" the barista managed to put a heart and my latte and it's going to make me smile all day I can tell. Thank you so much for making me feel at home. read more

I sat in the drive-thru for like 10 minutes waiting for someone to say something or take my order. Just silence- no "please wait" or anything. I asked if anyone was there several times, and there were tons of cars behind me in line, so I pulled to the parking lot to park & go inside. I get inside and there's a couple of girls just sitting there on their phones (which I don't usually care about because work can be boring, I know.) I asked if their speaker for the drive thru was working, and they said yes. I asked why I sat there and why my order wasn't taken, and one of them replies that they've been super busy. There is literally no one in the store, and the parking lot is empty except for the people in the drive thru. Like what the hell???? There's another Starbucks 5 minutes down the road so I just left and I came out in time to see the car previously behind me pull forward out of frustration too. The unprofessionalism here was just stunning, honestly. I have no idea what was going on or why the employees thought it was okay to just sit around and ignore the drive thru line, because I've honestly never experienced anything like this. I have never been a place where my order has been messed up so frequently. I am severely intolerant to milk. Every time that I go through, I ask- this was made with soy, correct? (As it says soy on the cup) and 4 times in the past 2 weeks, they have made my drink with milk. How do I know this? I work In a lab nearby, and have tested it. Drinking just a small amount, has made me severely sick. The service is friendly- but for those of you who expect to have a certain kind of milk in your drink, be careful about this specific Starbucks location. read more
