I really wish I could have started my first experience with this donut joint off with he apple fritter. I stopped in the next day to grab my pre ordered apple fritters. Honestly, at that moment in time, I wasn't even excited for the fritters after having such a dry donut the day before. I asked for 1 fritter to be in a box and the other 3 to be in another. The gal that helped me the day before opened the window, didn't greet me, stared at me which was an awkward interaction. I told her I was there to pick up my fritters and her response was "I know". Yes, you know but I didn't know if you remembered..... A sweet gal popped up with my boxes. Explained to me which box was what and sent me on my way. I got my goods and made my way home. When I was picking up the boxes, I noticed the warmth of the box and the weight. I can tell these were going to be heavy weight fritters. Opening the box, this baby was huge! Perfectly glazed from top to bottom. My husband took his first bite. He was very happy with the fritter. I took a chunk and was very delighted at how sweet, crunchy and delicious this fritter was. The middle was soft and airy. The exterior of the fritter was crispy and crunchy even though there was a glaze over it. The cinnamon and apple chunks were in every bite. It was a fantastic apple fritter! My husband was greedy and ate a majority of it. I'm happy I got a nice chunk of it to try out. The donut and fritter was night and day. I'm happy that I got to experience the hype of the apple fritter that everyone had raved about! Believe the hype! The apple fritters here were money. If I could do half stars, this visit would have been 4.5 but it's going to be a 4. My first initial interaction with the first gal wasn't the best. You deal with a ton of different people everyday, how was I to know you knew what I was there for if you don't say anything to me? A simple "we are grabbing your fritters" would have been cool but I got stared at. I'm assuming the gal that gave me my order was the person in charge. Professional, sweet and great line of communication. I don't know when I'll be back for another round of goodies but if someone asks where they could get some fabulous fritters, I'll be suggesting this joint for sure. read more

You know the donuts you see on The Simpson's the look soft, fluffy, crunchy on the exterior, just sweet enough, and like they'd make you smile from the first bite to the last? That's a Manna's donut. I've been having donuts here on a weekly basis since they opened and the donuts are just perfection. They never feel heavy, or greasy, or have that old fryer taste that some donuts have. The price, just $1.99 for the standards, is fair given the size and quality. I love this place. They have standard cake and raised, old-fashioned, fritters, and usually some fancy flavors. We loved all the donuts we've tried at Manna's, all were top notch. But the surprising one that stands head and shoulders above all the others are their donut holes. It really showcases their old fashioned base, that is fluffy and crispy in a donut, but because of the small size, it magnifies that effect by 2-3X. read more

The Apple Fritter was exactly what I was looking for! We showed up around 715 and they were all ready sold out of the cinnamon rolls. So next time that's on the list! Everyone loved the donuts and all the donuts were huge but the apple fritter was the size of a dinner plate. It was my breakfast and lunch. read more

It was alright. Agreed that the apple fritter donut is the biggest in town and taste good. Cost is high too.

The donuts here are unequivocally the best I've had. (Except for the Amish pastries in Salmon, Idaho)

After a couple visits following morning swim practice my kids have declared Manna's 100% without uncertainty the best donuts they have ever had. The apple fritter and cream filled bars are downright amazing. The people are awesome, friendly and accommodating. Because they make everything fresh, there can be delays on when some items are available, but don't let that deter you from substituting for another item of kicking back for a couple minutes by the fire pit to await your pastry. Any wait is well worth it, and guarantees the fresh-ish damn donut you will ever consume. read more

I came across this food truck as my daughter and I were grabbing food from a restaurant across from them. I walked over and asked what was Manna's Donuts as the menu was split in half. The owner kindly told me Manna meant bread from heaven and we both laughed. It was a bit late when I went, so many of their popular items were sold out. What I did have was great. I had the old fashioned donut, the cake donut, and a yeast glazed. The owner brought over the trays of items for me to see what they looked like and to make it easier for me to order. If and when I go back to Boise (Boy See), I will definitely stop by and maybe earlier to get to try the more popular flavors. Even the next day, the donuts tasted fresh and delicious.
