We were on a super tight turnaround, less than two weeks before the party, and with Mother's Day around the corner, most bakeries were already booked. I reached out to Lucy on Facebook in full panic mode, and she responded within 15 minutes. Within the hour, we had finalized the design and payment, and from that moment on, communication was seamless. The cake itself was absolutely beautiful and everyone kept talking about how moist and amazing it tasted. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up with the flavor. I had requested vanilla, but the cake ended up being chocolate. Normally that wouldn't be a huge issue except the birthday girl herself does not eat chocolate cake. What impressed me most was how Lucy handled the situation. She reached out immediately, sincerely apologized, and instead of simply offering a refund, she went above and beyond. We live an hour away from the venue, and she still arranged for a driver to personally deliver another cake with the correct filling just to make sure my daughter was happy. That level of customer service is rare these days. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but how a business responds says everything.
