about 50% less for my timing belt change. Dealer wanted $1200. Great guys they tell it as it is with options. Also got my A/C fixed and i got a cheap option and an expensive option. Cheap option worked. These are good guys reasonable price. read more

After calling dealership after dealership to repair my VW Beetle clutch, I found the guys @ Dubsquared and am so glad I did. What a wonderful bunch of guys, fast, friendly and VERY honest!!!!! This shop deserves a million stars (cheesy...I know). I visited them 12/16/2014 for an oil change and oil leak. I will just list the reasons why you should go there: 1. They ACTUALLY look over your car and not just check a list off for you to sign. 2. They found things I would have not known about and suggested the remedies to get them corrected. 3. They take pictures of EVERYTHING to include the oil change and anything that needs attention and write up detailed information about the issue for you to review and give you a MULTITUDE of affordable alternatives. 4. They do not try to "upsell" you on a fuel injection cleaning or anything not needed. 5. They actually care about your car that you have invested over $20k in and in most cases $30k and up. 6. They know how to treat the military & veterans as well as community emergency responders by offering an incredibly reasonable discount. 7. MOST IMPORTANTLY, this is a small local business that ACTUALLY cares about the community and supports our troops. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, I can't ask you enough to go and at least get an oil change from these guys and let them look your vehicle over. These guys were great. Our CC had the timing tensioner thing break and the timing was done. They rebuilt the engine for $4000, where our regular mechanic thought it would need a new engine and the dealership said $6000 up to $10000! Very professional and honest. This is my first VW and when I was ready to start having fun with it, I was curious about who around town would be the best fit. After a ton of research, I contacted Phil over at Dubsquared. From the first, "Dubsquared, this is Phil", I knew I found the perfect fit for my car. I just got that sense of passion and respect from him. He presents himself in a way that makes you feel like you have known him your whole life. He got such a huge amount of respect for people and that reflects through his shop and the rest of the team up there. I have been going to them now for about a year, little over a year now. I am SO happy that I found Phil, Tyler and the rest of the guys over @ Dubsquared. If there is one thing in my life that I have always hated leaving in other people's hands, it's been my cars. It always seems like something else is wrong after I drop it off somewhere. No matter what car it was. I can say, with more confidence than ever, that I have found the PERFECT shop. I literally have no fears when it comes to these guys. This is the only place that I have ever dropped any of my cars off at, a day prior to them needing it. I took my car in damn near bone stock. I had no idea where to start. I think I had some flush mount spacers, mud flaps and lowering springs. I had no idea where to go from there. From day one, they have taught me so much about this car. Things I never thought I would ever know, but they go far and beyond to help you understand the reasoning behind everything. They have done so much to my car, from installing sway bars, suspension upgrades, to hooking me up with an APR IC, S2 tune & so much more. We came in here for a pre-buy inspection for a used car and the service was great! Didn't take long at all, and the man checking it out took pictures of all of the problems he found in the car and told us what we should ask the dealership to fix. Had my 2011 GTI flashed with Stage 1 APR software. There was a closer APR dealer to me, but word of mouth, and my own discussions with them gave me pause, and I finally decided to just drive the extra distance to dub squared. I am really glad I did, friendly staff, good price, and seem to care about your vehicle. Flashing the ECU on my car involves actually removing the ECU from the vehicle, and everything was put back exactly as it was prior to the work. Took my Audi A8L in for noise it was having and did a full inspection for $85 and gave everything wrong with the car. things i had no idea were wrong. gave me a list of things i needed to fix now and things that can wait. they are awesome did it in two days and they give fire and police a 10% discount. had an oil leak (so i thought) but found out the last place did not know how to do oil changes on this car. did not replace the crush washer after oil change. they send you an email to give you updates and also give you pictures to see the damage and progress. you will not find a better place to take your audi or VW!!! read more

Have had myriad problems with 2007 Bug for ages. Finally decided to get everything taken care of. My vintage Bug parts guy highly recommended Dubsquared. Tyler assessed my car's condition. I thought the transmission needed work, but Tyler said it was fine, but that I had other problems (split CV boot, bad tire, etc.) issues that should be addressed and put them in order of importance. He also suggested that some minor items I wanted fixed weren't worth the cost of them repairing them. How rare is that? My irritating thermostat problem (the thing has been blinking for eons) is finally cured and that alone was well worth it. Many things were resolved before they became serious (and expensive) problems. I'm now back on the road in a very TIMELY manner (they fast AND thorough), and driving comfortably with confidence. Couldn't ask for better, more attentive, higher quality work. It's a pleasure to get my money's worth instead of feeling fleeced by dealership service and plagued with repeat visits because they can never get it right the first time. Kudos again to Tyler (and Philip, too) for outstanding work and excellent bang for my bucks. read more
