I was told by my warranty company to take my car to Euro Car Tech because my engine was locked up. I dropped my vehicle off. Contact the mechanic's shop every other day for updates on the new engine. I called, and they told me on Thursday that the engine they received was damaged and to give them a day or so. On Friday, I received a call stating that my Mercedes c300 was ready. It was kind of odd, but I trusted their explanation. I arrived at Euro Car Tech to sign up for the services rendered on my car. They tell me that my battery is dead and if I cut it off it will never start. I questioned why my battery was dead and there was no explanation other than it was a bad battery.  But it wasn't a bad battery. I asked how, since the battery had no problems. I went a mile down the road and my car cut off. I had to leave my car at the Auto Zone and drive to buy a 450.00 battery from Parks Mercedes-Benz. I got back to my car around 4:40 to put the battery in, but the thermostat icon came on. I called to let them know that my engine light was on, and they wanted to take the car back tomorrow.  So today, 25th March 2025, I called to tell them I was on my way, but the car was overheating. When I arrived, they wanted me to leave the car since they said it's not magic. I told the guy behind the desk that I needed them to be put in on the machine. Then Sam (who they said his name was, but I know they lied) came out from the back and yelled. What do you want? Yell at the man behind the desk.  This man needs his vehicle looked at. Sam thinking I was another guy he ran in his face. But the guy behind the counter, so no, this is the guy, pointing to me.  He proceeded to my car and said you broke the car! I'm like what are you talking about? He says not engine, but something else. Then he says," I told you it's the water pump and your battery. I said" I have never talked to you". I've never seen you before. I went inside to talk to the guy behind the counter who I'd been talking to since I dropped my car off. The owner, Sam, said" I am fixing your car!!" GET OUT. I am not going to fix it. I told Sam, this is business. My warranty company paid you for a service that you must honor. No Black man, get off my property. He flashed his flashlight in our faces and yelled get out! In the climate we live in now. A black man in an establishment bringing back a vehicle that wasn't done properly is the cause of another black man asking to fix or find out what the problem was with the service they provided.  Sam, the owner, should not have any contact with any customer or any human. His accountability and conduct are horrific and deplorable. This establishment should be banned not only from Texas but outside the United States. read more

I needed a shop to inspect a BMW I was buying and being out of state I needed a reputable shop to be my "eyes and ears" on the ground for a PPI. I searched the BMW Forums and Yelp and Euro Car Tech looked to have good recommendations. I called and spoke with Mel who said he could help me that day which was amazing since it was a Monday morning and most shops tend to be backed up after the weekend. They did a full check on the car which only had minor items which were understandable based on it being a used car. They charged a very reasonable rate for the inspection. I was also able to arrange for a carrier to pick up the car from their shop which made the entire process that much easier. If you ever need any work done on your car and you have a European make I highly recommend Euro Car Tech! read more

I went there because my ac was not cooling well and because of the good reviews!. They advertise a flush and recharge and they claimed they did just that and return me the car blowing hot air and the compressor no longer working! They claim my compressor was bad and it needed replacement and quoted me 2875.00 in less than 45 minutes going in there! Complete joke and a rip off! I took it to another shop and they kept it a couple of days and found an electrical issue and repaired the problem! I always go to the dealership but thought I would give them a try with a simple oil change. I requested a simple diagnostic and oil change. They came back with $10K worth of repairs. I had taken my Audi to the dealership 3 months before for service and none of these items were on the list for even tentative to do's. I guess they had decided that single female was going to be a cash cow. Would never ever go there again and would recommend to no one! The obsequious service manager was so obvious and seemed surprised that he did not dupe me. NEVER. read more

On Yelp it says "free consultations" & the guy working also said it's free. After I get my (overpriced) quote back, they say it's $110 for the consultation. He also mentioned to "read the fine print" because there's a little sign that says that in the corner. No mention of it verbally when I originally asked if it was free. First off, let me just say, Euro Car Tech does excellent work. They are also upfront and honest about all prices. They replaced a fuel pump on my 2010 Volvo XC90. It was a little pricey, but I know it would have been even more had I had the repair done at the dealership. With that being said, the only reason why I didn't give them 5 stars, is because I made an appointment to come in on July 29th. So when I arrived, I was under the impression that my vehicle would be looked at and serviced on the same day. But that wasn't the case. I was told that my car wouldn't be looked at until either Monday, July 31st, or Tuesday, August 1st. All of this was fine, but why the appointment? Once they found out what the issue with my car was, it took about a week before my car was fixed. I'm assuming it took this long, because they may have had to order the part. Nonetheless, this is a great shop. read more

Elio and Mel at Euro Car Tech are really great honest guys. They are the only independent shop I trust with my 2016 Maserati Granturismo. A few months back I brought my vehicle in as a suspension code came up on the dash. They quickly diagnosed the issue to be a faulty acceleration sensor. They found ordered/shipped the last sensor in the country from a Maserati Dealership in New Jersey. My car was kept indoors overnight, and I was called the next day for pick up. The communication from Mel was very impressive as he kept me in the loop the entire time. The price was very fair. I highly recommend these guys for any of your automotive needs. Tech charged my son $4k for repair work on his Porsche Cayenne and didn't even fix the actual problem. Truck had more noises than when I dropped it off. Tech didn't know how to actually fix the problem, just kept trying different things, replacing different parts that he suspected might fix it, instead of doing a proper diagnostic and focus on the problem at hand. Instead, the tech replaced parts that he heard noises with when he turned the truck to the left or right, which had absolutely NOTHING to do with the actual problem. Kept wanting us to allow him to experiment by removing different parts, and was charging ridiculous labor fees, after having the truck for a whole week. After we test drove the truck $4k later and heard more noises than we heard initially, we took the truck to a more experienced mechanic that actually knew what he was doing. Tech called my son indicating stutter in acceleration was fixed and he heard no more noises. Immediately, we heard it when we test drove it. Tech never once attempted t ok get in the truck to hear what we were hearing or feeling, was trying to get my husband to allow him to keep playing guessing games. Claim they were trying to save us money after already charging us $4k... What a joke! Never again will we put our trust in this shop! Just because they say they are a experienced tech, doesnt mean it's TRUE. This particular tech will NEVER touch another car we own. We got all of our old parts and took it on down the road to a tech that is very detailed and showed us the problem in the half day that he had it in his shop.
