Matcha with oatmilk

This shop was in a cute part of town, but I was disappointed in the pastry selection for a Sunday morning. I ordered a matcha and got this... matcha flavored milk? Perhaps the coffee is better, but the matcha made me really sad.

Everyone here was SO incredibly nice. Service was fast, and the drink & cookie were both so delicious! Came here for the West Seattle Silent Book Club and they took such great care of us. Would totally recommend!

One of my favorite coffee shops in the White Center area! One of my favorite things is the sense of community when you walk in. There are plants to decorate, the walls are covered with different flyers and announcements abouts what's going on around the city, and even items people are selling like hand crafted earrings, plants, and other trinkets. There are also a lot of tables inside and it so it is pretty normal to find groups meeting, individuals working, and kids in the children's area. There are times I have gone when it is a good work environment but there are other times they have live performers. It can get pretty loud and busy on those days so I would check their Instagram for their schedule before you head there. The workers have always been very friendly and as one who still masks, I appreciate that all the workers do too. Another plus is the amount of parking available around the area! I love their cardamom latte a lot as well as their food selection--breakfast sandwiches, wraps and pastries. Today I got an iced lavender matcha latte with oat milk and I know I will be back for this!

Met my daughter and her partner here for coffee and breakfast. Great vibe, plenty of parking and the coffee was smooth and delish. Nice staff, great for families, friends.

This is my favorite coffee shop! It is super colorful and artful and the staff are very kind and when you go, give them the big tip cause they are the best!

We stopped at this place on our way back to Seattle. The cardamom latte did not disappoint! It was delicious and the barista was super kind.

The service was quick and friendly I black and white mocha was made just right with a side of . E-gift cards are available and lunch items such as sandwiches hard boiled eggs pastries cookies and juicebox. Plenty of street parking located in the green bridge community on 8th avenue Southwest in White center. You can place online orders and bags of coffee for sale along with coffee cups and art, this coffee shop does not allow dine in at this time, with limited seating outside. Once opened up in full I encourage you to enjoy on a nice sunny day or when raining snuggled inside this cozy coffee spot. Currently open only take out!!

Cute coffee shop with a good cardamom latte. The latte had a nice thick layer of foam with minimal air bubbles and good cardamom flavor. You won't find yourself wondering where the flavor is. The pastry case is situated too low for admiring the goodies but bend down for a peek. I saw some nice thick cookies among the options. Kid friendly place with a play area. The bathroom had a little step stool for kids to wash their hands too. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely stop by for another latte.

The pork chop was tender, and went well with the homemade vinegar & garlic sauce. The long lumpia shanghai was GBD, and also went well with the sauce. The longanisa had a texture that reminded me of childhood, and the Ilocos sausage (that is less fatty), was a nice contrast. Lastly, the savory corned beef was a good way to finish the big portion of garlic rice. I def needed a nap after this meal. Regarding the ambiance, its a small, casual place that holds 50. You order at the front, and your food is brought to you quickly. There were a lot of Flip clients, but there were also a fair number of non-Flip clients. Many of the clients looked like regulars. The staff is super nice, and they play Hawaiian reggae in the background. All in all, an awesome experience in DT Seattle. There's a reason Ludi's is on Yelp's Top 100 list. I have a trip booked in Oct to SEA, and I'm glad my hotel is very close to Ludi's.

The menu changes weekly, they try to use locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. We started with cocktails. My wife got a perfect Manhattan and I asked for an east side cocktail. That was new to the bartender but she was willing and it turned out to be delicious! Great mix of mint, cucumber and lime. Then we shared 4 dishes: sardine tartine, dal soup, an heirloom tomato and cucumber salad and the halibut entree. Literally everything was delicious. I lived the flavors of the dal soup--cumin, coriander, mustard seed. The tomatoes were super fresh on top of a creamy marscapone. And the halibut was perfectly cooked, with a crispy top and flaky body. I only wish we lived here and could visit more often!

Everything was delicious! They did let us know in advance that the Dutch babies would take about 30 minutes, but it is worth the wait! It came out piping hot, oozing with blueberries and lemon ricotta! My only regret was not being able to try other things since we were headed to Pike Place right after, but I definitely do want to try their other Dutch babies / dinner items in the future!

They had an amazing selection of pastries, though I didn't try any. I got their Caramelized Banana Latte to satisfy my sweet tooth, and it wasn't too banana-flavored nor too sweet; the black sesame in it balanced it nicely. I also got the Urban Pesto, which was SO yum. I was little skeptical of the focaccia - sometimes I find it to be too puffy, and thus hard to eat the sandwich - but this had a lovely panini press on it that made it easy to eat. The in-house herby cheese in the sandwich made each bite just that much more delicious. The staff was also super nice and accommodating to my parents' requests and questions. Tempting pastry case with savory and sweet choices, the usual bevs, as well as, cocktails. Vibrant place to visit solo or meetups with others. The 16oz iced mokka (mocha) I had was well crafted. Both counter folks were personable and welcoming. I was able to sit at a two top and remain cool during my brief visit on that hot Tuesday early afternoon. It was quite busy which we anticipated, so I would highly recommend making a reservation. We were seated right away with our reservation time, but it did take some time to be served. I enjoyed the hot coffee with a bit of cream. It was good; my only comment is that I wasn't offered a refill at any point, and we were there for over an hour. To be fair, it was SUPER busy; like at least 100 people in the dining room. I had one of their seasonal specials, the peaches and cream Swedish pancakes. It was a generous portion included with a trip to the berry bar. The berry bar was very fresh and well maintained as far as cleanliness. It was also in a prime location, near the tables but not too close and not in the way of the walking path. The peaches were juicy and sweet and the cream cheese frosting was a decadent topping. I added some berries which made it extra special. I liked the caramel shards, but they were a little on the thick side for my liking and were a bit tough to eat. However, I really enjoyed the dish overall! I also got a side of peppered bacon which was well-cooked, crispy, and extra peppery. My friend got the classic French toast and a side of potatoes. She loved the French toast with the included berry bar trip! However, the potatoes were cut into HUGE pieces which were difficult to eat even though they were cooked through. I would definitely come back here! If you're looking for a popular brunch spot with delicious sweet brunch options, check on Portage Bay Cafe SLU!
