"The issue is, YOU brides get your dresses so dang dirty..." Caine Road location in Dublin I hate to leave a poor review but I feel this is important to share. The ladies working at the front counter were so kind and understanding! Besides that, nothing was cleaned properly or handled professionally unfortunately. (See photos -- they show my dress AFTER they apparently cleaned it). I contacted Margaret immediately with my concern and she never returned my call. Instead, she had her husband call me back which he informed me he "soaked" my dress, but the pictures appear to show otherwise. The pink spots were definitely never attempted to be cleaned -- which I specifically informed them of and is noted on my receipt. Even after requesting for a refund of the 50% I paid up front, they never offered to refund us. Instead Margaret informed the employee via phone to just have me take my dress and leave. If they couldn't clean it, they should've informed me immediately that it was out of their scope of professionalism. HERE'S THE KICKER -- they charged us MORE money because of my dress's designer!! They direct you to corporate first then once I complained enough by email and text I got a call from Lisa...She heard me out about a shirt of mine ruined and the fact they returned my wife's belt to her dress cleaned with no dress. I texted her photos as she requested and I thought okay cool this is being handled. She to date has not responded to my texts requesting an update on my issues. Nothing. I was later contact by Robert who I explained all of the aforementioned and you won't believe how it was handled...it wasn't. Took my wool coat to get dry cleaned after spilling Momo Ghar sauce on it. I was quoted a 1 week turn around time but it was ready within 5 days. Very happy with the final results as all traces of sauce were gone and my coat looked good as new, no wrinkles. Dry cleaning pricing was very reasonable at $20. I would definitely come back for dry cleaning services. As others have mentioned, they are pricey for clothes alterations. I took my business elsewhere for tailoring due to the higher price (was quoted $33 for a simple hem of a dress whereas other places offer the same service for $15-20). I even had a 20% off coupon from them after getting my coat cleaned, but it was still more expensive than other places without coupons. read more

I got my weighted blanket cleaned. One week after drop off I arrived to pick it up. The woman employee put my blanket on the counter, the package had my name and information on it. I paid my bill - $42 and some change. As she's ringing me through I look closer at the blanket in the bag "This is not my blanket" I said. Mine is grey, this one was white and grey. The employee said it was. I said nope, then I opened the bag and felt it to be sure... it wasn't my blanket. After she first said it was, she then cut me off and said "I know which one is yours, I rang you up, this one is not yours". I said my name was on the tag. She dismissed me and went to scold some other employees - 2 women, maybe 3 - to "show them what they did" is how she put it, and I was left waiting there. Then she pulls up the package that Is my blanket (package had a tear) - I don't get any slip telling me that it's the same price, I have no idea - the grey and white blanket looked larger than mine, it was in a larger bag, but I didn't pick it up and couldn't gage if it was heavier or the same. I go to reach for my blanket but she still doesn't give it to me. Her and the other women look at both blankets and then take them to the back. I am left standing there, no explanation. Finally the original cashier/employee comes back up without my blanket and just barely acknowledges me saying they are just wrapping my blanket in a different bag, so it will be nice. I thanked her. She leaves again. Then when one of the women from the back finally comes back up front, she puts the grey/ white blanket on the shelf. Straightens the shelf out, before she finally gives me back my blanket which was in the Same bag with a tear that it was earlier. No apology, no effort to show me that they were the same cost, no future coupons, and Zero reason for me to return. Nothing. I do Not recommend using this business/ location. Great service, fast and also offers pickup / delivery! I have brought my clothes here on multiple occasions and they have always done a great job! The worst is having to wonder if the cleaner is going to ruin your clothes and have never had that issue or worry here! They also offer pickup and delivery however I have not tried that service yet. This was my first time using this business and I was gravely disappointed. First, I turned in my service uniform on Friday and was told it would be ready the following Tuesday. Mind you, the drive is 25 min out of my way. So I get there only to be told that it was not ready. I asked for them back because I needed it done as soon as possible and was told that it would be ready the very next morning. They did give me a discount, however, due to their mistake initially I was unable to prepare the uniform in a timely manner. Additionally, upon picking up the uniform, which is brand new by the way, I notice that the seam is ripped. I am so disgusted at this point that I refuse to take it back. **This review is targeted at the alterations portion of the business only** Tried to charge me $143.46 to hem EACH bridesmaid dress . Simple hem, pictured below. I purchased the dresses online for about $150 each. I found it hilarious that they would charge me about the same to shorten a very straightforward hem. I was told that it was so expensive "because of the chiffon". I thought the price sounded outrageous so my sisters and I went to the car to do some research and to see if we could find another seamstress to do the hems in time for the wedding. Luckily we found an honest woman that agreed to do the dresses for between $40-$80 each dress, even though they "were chiffon". So we immediately went back in, took the dresses, and cancelled the order. I'm not sure if people pay this routinely, or if the price was higher because they knew I was a Bride and these were Bridesmaid dresses. I really don't like to post negative and/or lengthy reviews, but according to the internet the average price to alter a chiffon dress is $43/hem. The most unfortunate part of the entire experience was the time wasted, so shame on me for not being more aggressive and upfront with them about the price, but shame on Dublin Cleaners for not being forthcoming about their higher than average prices. read more

Late posting but..... On a Monday I brought in a Vintage uniform to get dry cleaned, pressed and starched. They said it would be done Thursday. I said perfect because I won't be able to pick it up til Saturday morning, would that be ok, they said yes. Saturday morning comes and they can't find it. I'm there 25 min before they find it then it takes another 15-20 min to bring it out. It was damp and had multiple creases and looked worse then when I brought it in. I asked to speak with a manager. The owner came over and was so rude. I stated it was vintage and I requested it dry cleaned and starched . He stated he knew what to do for this item and it was washed. (Would've been nice for them to call me and let me know. It was going to be getting a different service than what I requested ) I showed him a picture of how it was before I brought it in and now and the color difference and the fact that it was still damp and had multiple creases and I waited 40 min for it when it was supposed done Thursday. He was again rude and stated I would need to pay full price. During this whole ordeal, I was the only one in there. Finally more customers came in and I was still upset and we were still arguing. He finally told me that he wouldn't charge me anything. It was so disappointing. I live in Dublin and I've been looking for a nice dry cleaning place. I am a bridesmaid in an upcoming wedding and found a high quality dress on sale, and decided on somewhere close for alterations. They did a wonderful job and the service was VERY timely. My dress was ready in a week, almost down to the hour. But what took my by surprise was the cost. I had quotes from elsewhere that were half of what I paid here. I've worked with a delivery cleaner for years and wanted to work with a company that was local to Dublin, so I actually reached out to them years ago, but ran into a hiccup. I'm colorblind and hang all my ties over my suits and shirts so that I know what matches - so it's really convenient for me to be able to go into my closet and easily see all of my suits, shirts, and ties "looking at me" so that I can easily pick what I'm going to wear that day. I started working with Dublin Cleaners and the first shirts that came back were hung the opposite way - so that when I hung my clothes in the closet, all the shirts and suits "faced away" from me. It sounds pretty stupid as I write it down here, but I called in and asked someone if they could switch them around, but I was told that it wasn't possible. The machine apparently is built to put the hangars in the shirts with the hook facing right, so that was that. Again, it sounds dumb, but this was a deal breaker for me, especially considering the fact that I knew that the other company I'd previously worked with had already done a great job put the hangars on the clothes the way I liked them. Unfortunately they weren't local, but I ended up going back to them anyway... for a good 3 years. Then one day, Lonnie (the driver who comes through our area) saw me outside and stopped to talk. This was actually the second time he'd stopped me and he'd actually come to visit our home, knocked on the door, and spoke to my wife in the past as well. We got to talking about my little "first world problem" with the hangars and I explained that I was really happy with the other company I was working with, that they hadn't done anything wrong, and that having the clothes on the hangar in this particular manner was a deal breaker for me - and that I'd already tried to work with Dublin Clears before and was told they couldn't do it. After my wife's clothes were dropped off at one of our previous addresses, they had no sense of urgency in finding/retrieving them (on day 8 now). They charged our credit card immediately when we dropped off the dirty clothes and each time we call no associates at the store can refund our account. Not going back. Delivery and Pickup happen as scheduled, which is more than I can say for another cleaning company that rhymes with Qwan....early on when we were just getting started with Dublin Cleaners and getting into the rotation, my shirts weren't on the truck for delivery on my scheduled day. The driver (Rebecca, I think) stopped by for pickup and went out of her way to go pick my shirts up and bring them back. SUPER helpful and definitely great customer service. Dublin Cleaners is a great dry cleaning business. The staff is very nice and so easy to work with. The prices are always reasonable, even if you are requesting a rush order, which I have done several times. I'm always happy with how my clothes turn out. My husband recently had buttons replaced on his suit jacket and he wasn't happy with the buttons they selected, so they fixed it within a few hours for him! ZERO STARS! DO NOT USE! Absolutely the worst customer service and experience. They lost my pants and after 3 months are still refusing to reimburse me for them! Had them dry clean a suit and pants, pick up my suit and return home. Did not go anywhere with them, was parked right out front so no walking around with them. Noticed when I got home that my pants were missing. Return the next day to the store to tell them, and they insisted I was the one that lost them. After several weeks of back and forth and me returning to the store weekly, if not daily, they agreed to START LOOKING FOR THEM! Another month goes by of me returning weekly and they finally agree they are lost. Now they need to open a ticket with their accounting team to get me reimbursed. Fast forward another MONTH, still have not been reimbursed. Call the store, no one answers. Call the accounting department, no one answers. Tries all phone numbers online, no one answers! 3 months have gone by and I still have not gotten reimbursed! Worst customer service and worst experience I have had anywhere! They replaced one with a button that didn't match. If you have a stain, make sure you let them know. Otherwise, it doesn't come out. Very disappointed. Brought in 1 shirt and 1 sweater for stain remove (gum&grass) I dropped them on a Friday and they told me to come back on wed. Since it was a long process for the stains to be removed. When I came to pick them up the stains were still there ((only got washed cus they smelled clean))and I told them that, the lady told me that they were going to re-do them and it would take them another week. Ok I let them try again and I wasn't in a hurry to get them. Well got a call the next morning saying that the clothes needed to be soaked in ((wasn't that done at the first try??)) and if the were under water they might be a chance of the color (20% blue 80%white) blue transferring to the color white and if that happened it would not be their fault bc I gave permission... They were really trying not to clean them or remove the stain.! I think it would be better from them to tell me from the beginning that it was impossible. I went in today and got it since I'm going to try another cleaner. I was expecting them to at least NOT charge me for them or just 50% off since they were just washed...but my surprise was that I paid full price (($17.35)) for them and got my stain clothes back :( read more
