Had new hardwood flooring installed in LR and kitchen. New hardwood in LR had to be laced in with some existing (40 yr old) hardwood. The installers did an amazing job- the floor looks completely uniform. Paul (store owner) provided excellent customer service and attentiveness throughout the project. I finally decided to have some flooring laid in my house. I went to Dublin Carpet and was extremely happy I did. (To be fair, it wasn't the first time I used them but keep going back.) Dede and Paul spent a lot of time, with me, to pick the perfect Laminate, for me. I brought home samples a few times and finally picked the one. This isn't your big box flooring store; it's family owned, no frills but large selection and competitive prices which is just my style. We ordered our luxury vinyl plank from them last month on the recommendation of our (non-affiliated) installer German (msg me for his contact info, he was amazing). Paul was helpful, essentially told us all the luxury vinyl was "the same" so not exactly sure how accurate that is, but we were pleased with the product and the price. Everything came in within a week and Paul even coordinated with our installer on storage/delivery so we never had to do anything else. read more

Was told job would only take a day. Installer showed up with out the tools needed to complete job, so he left to go get the right tools. Upon returning said that they would have to come back another day to finish. Now I'm waiting for them to come back after the weekend to finish. read more

Absolutely love Dublin Carpet. I used them to install carpet in 2 rooms where pet accidents were a problem. They listened to my issues and helped me choose the right carpet for our situation and even recommended a different pad than normal to help with the pet issues. In the end the carpet looks great and we have had no issues at all. The installer was nice and did a great job and Paul one of the owners called to check on the job to make sure we were happy. So, we got our carpets and floors done in 2006 by Dublin carpet. There was some issues with the carpenter who was laying the carpet, he placed our leather couches sideways (on the leather side) on our cement driveway and then he scratched our wood floors with the staples that he used for the carpet, we informed Paul of Dublin carpet, he offered us a brown paint to cover the scratches of our wood floors that we purchased and had installed by his workers, we were not having that as a resolutions, he finally agreed to have the floor guys come back out and replace the flooring. Years go by and during that time, we did have to have the carpenter come back a few times to stretch out our carpet, we finally gave up after it still lifting. We decided to remodel our kitchen at the end of 2017, during that process, we decided to put all new flooring to replace the wood and carpet downstairs. As our contractors were lifting the carpet, they found razors blades underneath the carpet! This was a result of Dublin Carpet's carpentry who installed the carpet, there were SO many razor blades that I could not count and I could NOT believe my eyes! Our current floor guys said that it looks like as the razors wore out to install the carpenter threw them without picking them up and placing them in a recycled container as they should have done. I would not recommend Dublin Carpet, if I could give them a ZERO, I would! read more

I cannot recommend this establishment at all. My flooring was sanded, stained and resealed. The sanding portion was good. The staining was horrible, blotchy, uneven etc. they came out and attempted again with worse results. They promised 3 coats of poly to finish and i received 2. The person on charge did not want to come out to see the results. Horrible horrible customer service. Wow. read more

I live in Sacramento and I have a rental property in Dublin. I made a phone call to Dublin Carpets to see if they could get me an estimate to replace the floors in my kitchen, Paul worked the exact time and day that my tenants were available. He coordinated with them and I asked him to pick out something that looked nice with the existing cabinets. I didn't give him a budget because I really had no budget, I wanted to spend under $1000 but realistically if it lasts, it didn't really matter. Paul called me back, gave me an estimate, and got the price within my budget. He didn't need payment right away and was exactly how any businessman should be - agree to the price and work, we'll work out payment later. I went in a week later to pay and my tenants are happy. I will definitely be using them again and I will recommending them to all of my friends and family. Fast, courteous, fairly priced, grateful, and just good people to do business with. Ps. When I went in to pay, I saw some awesome wallplanks that I'm sure I can purchase online but I will be buying from them if I find a good space for them! I used Dublin carpet to get a house ready to sell. Paul was helpful in selecting the right carpet and the price was competitive. I also used him to remove old tile from a bathroom and install linoleum. Don't use this crew for linoleum, they wrecked freshly painted walls, left a vent with sharp edges protruding above the floor and didn't put a thick enough underlayment down. This is something professional installers should know. I had to spend 800$ to fix the plumbing and put in a new toilet. The owner did NOTHING to try to correct the situation. There is no excuse for this. read more

Paul at Dublin Carpet was fantastic to work with. We ordered wood floors through them and we changed our mind on the floor color after it all arrived and was delivered at our house. Paul nicely explained that we may have to pay a $2500 restocking fee which he would try to have waived. He spoke to the vendor and was able to just have us pay for the shipping cost back and the amount was a small fraction of what we ended up paying. They had a lot of knowledge about the vast kinds of carpets they sell and install. We are happy with the quality, the price, and the installation of the carpet we purchased. They also got it done a few days earlier than scheduled which really helped us out a lot. When I was in there looking around I noticed there is a huge selection of carpet, remnants, hardwood flooring, and tile. This is a local place that has been here a long time. We really liked them because they were happy to just let us browse. They were happy to offer advice but not pushy about it. In fact, if you are looking for someone to greet you at the door and be anxious to come measure your house, this is not the place. They really are quite relaxed and not pushy, but then they did everything in a timely fashioned when we were ready. We must have taken home a million samples. We also visited a lot of other stores, but we really liked this one the best. They had a fantastic selection, though it's very crammed into every nook and cranny. Also, they really do seem to care quite a bit about the quality of their work. They have a great installation crew for laminate floors. The prices are extremely reasonable. I really cannot be happier. They are a bit clueless about social media, computers, etc., so I was a bit unsure how everything would turn out because there are not so many reviews. But we had them put new laminate floors and wood baseboards in our entire house, and I would happily recommend them. Excellent job and really beautiful floors. read more
