They do tile floors as well because they did our laminate we wanted them to do our tile in our bath rooms. Picture shows dry packing of the floors with papered floors and radiant heated tubes laid into the dry packing.- by 88hvac who pulled the radiant heating. We contacted several companies and decided to go with Esy because (a) they had by far the best pricing (b) we felt confident that they were going to do a good job (c) the owners are very nice and instilled confidence. After spending thousands of dollars and referring two other major customers to these guys, I called them back to tell them about all the tiles in my bathroom coming loose. Palo came out and saw the work first hand and told me he would fix it. he even said that he thinks his guys used cheap mortar. That was that he never called me again, I even went to the store and talked to his parents, they assured me he would call but he never did. Long story short, they ruined my bathroom and now refuse to fix it. So not only am I having to redo the job with someone else but also have to pay to remove the bad tiles they installed. I was really impressed with their selection and pricing on the product and labor was terrific in comparison to all other showrooms I visited/called. Emanuel jumped through hoops to ensure all the upfront promises were kept and the product was delivered on time. My wife and I decided to go with Esyfloor after being referred by a family friend. Not only were their installation prices unbeatable but Paulo was very laid back, knowledgeable, and seemed to really want to find the best floor for us working within our budget. Any questions we had on flooring, Paulo would email us with a response within the day. We decided to go with engineered hardwood and Paulo quoted us the job would take 5 days to install but his installation crew was done within 3 days. My wife and I recently moved and decided to replace the carpet and linoleum in our new house. We literally went to 8 different locations and looked at dozens and dozens of types of hardwood and laminate floors. I did not realize how difficult it was to make a decision on what type to get until we started the process. Ironically while at one of the big box stores we ran into a past co-worker of mine and he recommended we stop by Esy Floors in Dublin. We stopped in and were immediately greeted by Paulo. He was exceptionally helpful and friendly during the process. During our review of the many products they had both my wife and I found and fell in love with the hardwood floor we wanted. Not only did we find the floor we wanted but Esy Floors was significantly less expensive then the other 8 locations we visited. We knew it was meant to be and we booked them to install a few weeks out. His crew came several days before to store the hardwood inside to let it acclimate to the inside temp. On day one of install they were on time and they installed close to 2,000 sq. Ft of floor (including closets) in about 3.5 days. The moment I realized we made the right choice was when a few weeks later we noticed a slight uneven board in the hallway. We called Paulo at Esy Floors because we were concerned over time the board would wear or crack. He immediately sent over his lead installer who removed our baseboard, cut out the uneven board, and replaced it with a new one. I visited two other flooring stores in the area, Lumber Liquidators and another popular carpet/flooring place in Pleasanton. Then I decided to use Yelp and saw EsyFloor in Dublin. I am very glad I decided to check them out. I was greeted by Emmanuel, business owner, and he began asking me questions to help narrow my search. There were so many choices in this small store in the category I was looking in that I was a bit dizzy. I had difficulty narrowing it down, so he had me take home the samples. Not small little samples like I was given in the other stores, but large samples that we could stand on and really get a feel for them. They got the samples back from us later and we were glad we could use them. They were very competitive with pricing - we got a great engineered hardwood floor that was a much better quality than we had seen at the other two stores for the same price we were looking at in Lumber Liquidators for a engineered flooring on sale. The labor to install beat anyones prices by nearly a dollar per square foot. The other stores told us it would be anywhere from a week to four weeks to order and receive our flooring and then they would schedule the install. EsyFloor had the flooring at our house acclimating to temperature within THREE DAYS! And the installation followed on the fifth day. Edo was great in helping us settle on the baseboard and coordinating things with the installer. The installer, Ignacio, was fantastic. He spoke good english and was very thorough with the installation and all the details. Thye removed the old flooring and carpet, thoroughly cleaned and prepped the floors and were very focused on doing a fantastic job. They hauled all the old materials away and told me some specifics to assure me it was being dumped at an appropriate facility. They arrived on time and put in a full days work. We had a few areas that were a bit tricky, but Ignacio knew what he was doing and they look fantastic. Edo came by to make sure everything was going well. We are thrilled with our wood floors! There isn't a single spot or area that we are not pleased with. The attention to detail was fantastic. I highly recommend these guys if you plan to have wood floors put in. They don't have a big fancy showroom or large store. They have a small store in a strip-mall location. But the work and communication was fantastic and I now have gorgeous engineered wood floors. We chose EsyFloor because of the stellar Yelp reviews. We already had our materials and needed labor to install ~650 sqft of engineered hardwood on a concrete slab - floating floor. They did a decent job, but our path to get there was disappointingly difficult. Did not show up for original appointment to verify measurements and did not notify us. I called a half hour after the appointment (2pm on a Friday - regular business hours) and no one picked up. Then I emailed to make sure they had my phone numbers and the address correct. They emailed me a half-hour later saying their guy couldn't make it, but they would see about stopping by on Monday afternoon "We'll call you." Good thing I am on maternity leave and could accommodate, but my husband was unable to be there Monday. On Monday, I waited to hear from them to set a time. In the early afternoon I received a call that the guy was on his way and running early, could he stop by in 10 minutes. That was a surprise since I didn't know an appointment was even scheduled! Due to the great Yelp reviews, I was still willing to give them a try despite the poor communication. Edo, the man who came by, was wonderful. He was considerate, understood my questions and agreed that it wouldn't be a problem for me to help with piece selection since the flooring we purchased was highly variable. We set a date and Emmanuel (the owner) charged half the deposit on my card. Two men arrived on the appointed day - one spoke absolutely no English and the second spoke very little, or at least gave that impression. That was my biggest complaint as they would smile an nod and pretend to understand what I said and then half the time blatantly ignored my input. Not OK. It was apparent that the agreements I'd made with Edo had not been fully communicated to the workers. My husband gave them the same information I'd given Edo again quickly before running off to work and I remained at home for the day. I had to repeat some of the instructions again, and at one point got down on my hands and knees and started showing them one of the simplest things - that I'd been told wouldn't be an issue. At one point in the morning, Emmanuel called my cell phone to get ahold of his own workers who weren't responding to his calls - completely unprofessional. Edo arrived a couple hours after they'd started working to check on things and that was the only saving grace. He had the workers pull out a board that was clearly out of place in the middle of the room (~ 5 rows back, and they hesitated when he asked, but he repeated the request/order 2 more times and then they pulled it out). He spent the time with me going through the boxes of flooring to select the right pieces for each room. I greatly appreciated the help. He also watched over the quality of the work for a little bit, then left. In the hallway, they cut corners the first day and did not put enough padding/moisture block down. There was about 2 inches of gap from the wall to the edge of the padding. This became a big issue when they installed the first ripped-down board along the wall and it didn't lay flat. My husband noticed it as soon as he came home. The next day I made sure ask them to put down the right amount of padding and fix the one board. They didn't do it. Edo and his crew are pretty good at hardwood flooring. They are efficient and are priced reasonably. They also have enough options. I was not a big fan of the carpet work they did though. We will likely have to redo our carpets in a few years. They used really thin carpet pads, almost as good as using none. The carpet itself was not very good quality. I had a great experience with EsyFloor. I hired them in mid-March 2012. I wanted engineered hardwood floors installed in my living room, home office, family room, dining area and hallways. After checking with Lumber Liquidators, Home Depot and Sears, they showed me the best alternative in terms of price, selection and service. While EsyFloor was showing me the total cost of the floor installation (everything included), other places were charging you extra for the estimate or for moving the furniture. They were able to provide me a big number of samples and waited until we were completely sure about our wood selection: Brazilian Santos Mahogany. During installation with run into the problem of my subfloor not being leveled and Edo, the store owner, was able to accommodate the schedule in order to get this fix before installing the hardwood floor. Enrique, the floor installer, showed to be a person with great experience installing floors and he was able to accommodate any request, small or big. At the end, they also installed the porcelain tiles at the house entrance and the chimney, as well as all the baseboards in the rooms. A few days after they finished, I've had a big celebration at home with about 50 people coming over and everyone commented on how nice the floor turned out. After the typical beer spills and dancing, the floor looked as nothing happened and it still looks so good. We got our floors done here about 10 months ago and I am still in love with them. I came in and Emmanuel and his wife were so kind and patient. (It's really hard to make flooring choices with a newborn in a sling). They even let me bring home some samples without being pushy. We decided to go with laminates.
