I do like that there's an extensive clearance section and everything is clearly marked for pricing. It's also nice that they have an "ok" selection of larger sized shoes on hand versus being forced to only shop online. It's great that DSW participates in Soles4Souls. You can bring your gently used shoes to DSW to donate to this charity. I didn't know this before I participated in this for work, but they give you points for the donation. This particular warehouse is always so hot though. My bank called DSW for more information in regards transaction and someone told my bank I didn't returned the merchandise. They have great shoes but I checkout and went back to find my mom and passed a pair of converse I liked so, as most people would do I picked it up to look at it and when I put it back down it wasn't exactly straight how the worker next to me wanted it. So she proceed yo yell STOP at me and I looked at her confused and she yelled STOP again. Then I saw her fix the shoe. HERE WE GO AGAIN! Every time I give them another chance, they "try me" meaning they try my patience and I don't like that! Over the holidays, I had acquired $25 in coupons so naturally I decided to go out and purchase a pair of shoes. I love slides and yes, I wear them year-round after sandal season. I found a perfect pair of black ones that were not available in my size. When this happens, you always have the option of ordering the shoes and having them delivered to your home. I decided on this option and was given a delivery date of January 8th, (well in advance of my weekend trip). Perfect! As I am tracking my package, I notice that my date of delivery is changing without explanation or notice. The date suddenly goes from Jan. 8th to Jan 12th which is not okay! Despite the change in delivery, I notice that my shoes have been sitting in Ellenwood, GA since the 5th. What's the deal? I attempt to contact the company twice for an explanation of the change but I cannot get through. I am not interested in staying on hold so I choose to just end the call. Riddle me this Batman: Why is it that Broadway Shoes which is a smaller company with fewer stores can manage to have my shoes delivered within 48 hours, (sometimes the very next day), while DSW is constantly dropping the ball? This is unacceptable and they really need to work on a more efficient delivery system. Here is what you need to know: If you are needing a specific pair of shoes for a special occasion or just in a timely manner, you may want to conduct a search and drive to another location to pick the up rather than rely on their unreliable delivery system. The date provided is not always accurate and can create unnecessary stress. Think twice! 1/19/18 Ugghhh, Why can't I quit you!! Because I am a shoe freak and we have a love/hate relationship! Here's the latest, yes I received my shoes on time but the eventual date of delivery was still not the actual date delivered. However, I liked the shoes so much that I ordered them in another color and instead of ordering them online, I decided to order them by phone. This allowed me a $28 discount broken down in this manner: $10 certificate, enough points for another $10 certificate and they waved the shipping costs of $8. If I would have ordered them on line, I would have only gotten ten dollars off because I couldn't access the additional points and I would have had to pay for the shipping to my home address. If you want to avoid shipping costs, you can actually have the shoes delivered to the store and ready for pick up in 4-7 days, (allegedly). Horrible experience with the manager of this store yesterday. Had ordered and prepaid for a pair of Vans to pick up at the store. When I went to get them, she said the order wasn't ready, even though the shoes I ordered were sitting there on the shelf. Rude manager said I would get an email when the order was ready. Next day, my order was canceled because the item 'was not available.' Huh. Do not shop at this store! Spend your money in a place where good customer service exists. read more

Definitely one of the better DSW's out there, which automatically means an extra star. The problem here, as with any DSW, is that you're never really guaranteed to find that perfect pair of shoes. I would say about 7 out of 10 times, I walk in, browse, and walk out empty-handed. However, when I DO find worthy shoes (yes, I'm uber picky), it's a celebration. Por ejemplo (I don't know why I just busted out in Spanish all of a sudden...), my most recent discovery was... dun dun dun a pair of plaid Tommy Hilfiger slip-ons for a mere $17 and some change. Score! On a side note, the staff has always been very friendly - not necessarily those wandering around the store, but the cashiers. Also, it's sometimes very frustrating to find your shoe size. It's almost like if you don't stop by every week for new shipments, you're bound to miss out. read more

This DSW is AWESOME. I've been pleasantly surprised with the customer service and prices in the last three times I've visited. Mostly recently, I went in to inquire about not receiving my birthday coupon in the mail ($5 off any purchase). The acting manager said it was probably not delivered due to a recent change of address not giving the database enough time to process the new address before the coupon went out. However, she said that if I made a purchase today -- nearly two weeks after my birthday -- she'd honor the coupon. I was stoked because I found an adorable pair of Steve Madden cowboy boots and was able to get the $5 off the already half-off boots. Very respectable, DSW. I'll be back. read more

I went in to get some shoes for my daughter's 3rd birthday- the app said that they had them in stock in her size so I went ahead and told her. I did not see them displayed so asked the manager who told me that she had a ton of unopened boxes in the back so to check back on Wednesday or later once she gets to opening them. My daughter was visibly disappointed in that answer but I took her to try the brand of shoes on so I could atleast make sure to get the right size. She fell in love with them so I told the manager I would buy both if she could find the ones I was looking for but she still refused. I asked if I ordered them online for store pickup, wouldn't they have to find them? She responded "I can tell you right now that no one is actually going to go back there and look for them, even for an online order". I was going to spend a minimum of $100 there on the spot and make a little girl's day but she couldn't care less. I ended up having to purchase an overpriced Polly Pocket just to get my daughter to calm down and then ordered them on the app for pickup in Alpharetta once we got home (which were ready for pickup immediately when they opened today). This experience was absolutely unacceptable and I will never step foot in or spend a penny at that location again!!! read more

A great selection of shoes for women and kids. Self-service. Prices are okay, they are not giving anything away there. They do not have a good selection of men's shoes, the men shoes they do have are low end. Just go ahead and drive down to Bennie's Shoes.
