I love that this TJ Maxx is attached to HomeGoods -- super convenient! The store is well-organized, and I found some really cute items. Great value here -- you get a lot for your money. Definitely get their TJX Rewards credit card -- you can use it at TJ Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, and Sierra. You earn points for purchases and get $10 reward certificates after spending certain amounts. Staff is always friendly and helpful -- never had a problem. Highly recommend! read more

I went to purchase one item that was a shirt and short set with 4 different clearance price tags on it (2 on the shirt and 2 on the shorts). The manager was just hanging out behind the counter and didn't even come to acknowledge me about the situation. She sent another person to do her job. I watched the other employee take the clothing set over to her and the manager rolled her eyes, said they don't belong together, tore the swift attachment apart, and told the employee to tell me the outfit was two different prices. Your staff's lack of attention to detail when putting sets back together is not my problem. You had an item with 4 different prices; you go with the lowest price period! It's not my fault your employees were not mindful. This is not the first time I have had issues with management not giving the price as marked. Between the consistent terrible customer service, the long lines, the overcrowded shelves, and the racks never zoned correctly, it will be a while before I return to this location. read more

I hate this store. I like some of their stuff but every time you go in it takes 30 minutes to check out!! They have 14 registers and only 3 are staffed! Waste of space and my time. I think I need to be done with this store for my own sanity! read more

I went here two days ago and the store was a disaster. Clothes on floor, changing room closed and a very rude lady working and yelling at people saying it was closed. Waiting in line to pay and broken stuff on floor, clothes hanging where they didn't belong because people placing it there, long lines and long wait time. What I bought wasn't worth the long wait and rude lady working the changing rooms. This store has really went downhill. read more

I shopped here on 10-19. I stopped in to do a quick return. The young lady that assisted us was so friendly and kind. It was obvious she was new or not on the register often. However she kept smiling, apologizing (which she didn't have to do) and asked for help when needed. My issue was not with her...but the lady that came to help her the 2nd time. She completely belittled this young lady in front of me and my son. I felt horrible for this young girl. Oddly enough the lady who was helping kept saying, "I'm so sorry. She hasn't done this for a while, obviously." That ticked me off! There is no excuse for putting someone down in front of a customer. I made it a point to let her know that Ally was doing fine and we appreciated her politeness and great customer service. I hope the manager heard, as she was standing within 5-10 feet. I wish Ally had stepped on that woman's foot...hard! This store has mark downs so often that I can't see myself not returning but employees should be treated respectfully. I can only imagine how it will be during the holidays. My other issue is that this store is not wheelchair Friendly. It's TIGHT!!! read more

NOTHING SAYS "HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY" LIKE A SHOPPING TRIP!! My husband is that rare breed of husband who actually enjoys taking his wife shopping. Although we were on our way to the stores in Dawsonville, I decided to cut him a break and we jumped off at the Cumming exit. Some of the best shopping goes down at the Cumming location and on such a warm day, it was a better choice. I love linen and it is back baby! When it comes to summer, some people think of shorts and tees but my favorite summer pieces are wide leg linen pants and those full cut tees that are great for layering. This is the perfect outfit for travel or evenings out. When it comes to the tees, you want the nylon options that are dressier than the ones that are only made of plain cotton or have texture. They layer nicely or can be worn alone. They are also generously sized so that you can actually wear a smaller size. The ones I purchased were Cable and Guage and Willie Smith which are a couple of my favorite brands for casual wear. I purchased a nice pair of stripped linen pants, (orange, gray, tan and cream) and an All American navy blue pair. It was a nice day for shopping because the store was well stocked and well staffed with no long waiting in line. Perfect! read more

Came here on afternoon to find a dress for a friend. This is a traditional TJ Maxx which is disorganized and has only a couple of one thing. I wasn't really able to find anything good here even though I spent a good hour searching. Bottom line...If you have time to comb through the racks you may find something good but that's probably rare. Came in on a Saturday late afternoon to look for some gym clothes. Not sure what the knock on this place it but it's pretty awesome. For those that have been to the location in Buford, this place is quite the upgrade. I've been here 1 other time during the Christmas holidays and it was a madhouse so that wouldn't be a good representation on how this place really is. This location is located in a large shopping center that shares parking with Dick's, Best Buy, and various other stores and restaurants. Parking was really easy to find close to the front. The Active section was clearly labeled so I knew where to go. I found 8 items I wanted to try on and walked over to the dressing room. Surprisingly there was a wait to the men's dressing room but what do you expect with only 2 rooms for guys. I found what I wanted and headed to check out. The 2 times I've been here the lines have been crazy long but it's awesome how quickly they move people through. If you're here and see a long line, don't be intimidated because they move fast. read more

I shop(ped) here a lot, have always had good experiences and the staff are very nice. However I had two larger items in my cart today, offered the cashier LENA H if I could bring them closer or could she reach to scan. She didn't answer but successfully rang up one without my taking it out of the cart. She mumbled something I couldn't hear. Not understanding what I was doing wrong, I asked her again if I could help her reach the other item (although she had already been able to easily reach the first one). She didn't answer at all this time, so I took it out so she could reach it with the scanner. It didn't work (because she was scanning the wrong code - the correct one was on the back. Of course I didn't know that when I handed it to her!). She got more annoyed, took it out of my hand & said "well I need to be able to get to it!" Very rude. Thanks Lena H for your ridiculous incoherent behavior & making me not want to come back. I'll shop at the one near my house from now on. read more
