DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse - The manager gave me these nice totes as opposed to me trying to carry all of the shoe boxes in plastic bags. Very nice touch

When I got home afterwards, I tried on my new shoes and to my chagrin, they didn't fit as well as I thought they did in the store. The next day I had to take my sister shoe shopping and brought her to this location. I brought my shoes back with the receipt and there was no hassle whatsoever with the return process. I even found not one but two pair of shoes and got both for right at $100. Not bad at all. This store is spacious, relatively clean and has a wide selection. I'm glad this worked out for me.

Fun fact- I was going to make this a 3 or 4 star review for two reasons. One there are no carts or…read morebags to carry anything you wanted to purchase. That seemed so inconvenient to me because i usually buy a LOT of pairs of shoes when i do go shoe shopping here. But I must say, the staff were more than happy to assist me with my pairs. I can remember Nates name and there was a young lady with a beautiful name that started with an A, that I can't remember. They made my shopping experience five star. At the register, I was a bit of a pain trying to figure out the sale amounts and ALL of the staff, to include the manager on duty were more than patient, helpful and kind. The buy one get one 50% off sale made me able to get six pairs of really nice footwear for what I would normally pay for one pair. It was a lovely experience and not for nothing, some footwear brands actually still make shoes in real quality leather. I'm old school. Pleather is cute and environmentally conscious but it does hold up. At any rate - happy shopping experience indeed and much needed.

The staff was friendly, patient, and really understood what we were looking for, which made the whole process easy and enjoyable. I've shopped at this location before and have always had great experiences--especially with the Birkenstock shoes I've purchased for myself and for Nicole. Abbadabba's consistently carries higher‑end, eco‑friendly brands that are built for comfort, durability, and everyday wear. Their selection goes beyond footwear too; they also have some very nice women's dresses and attire that fit the same quality‑focused vibe. A fun moment from our visit: our daughter was absolutely captivated by an alpaca‑hair teddy bear they had on display. We planned to come back after the new year to pick it up, but it had already been sold--proof that their unique items don't stay on the shelves for long. Another nice perk: purchases over $200 come with a $25 coupon to use the following month, which is great for families who regularly invest in quality shoes. I've also visited their Buckhead location about 20 minutes south, and the consistency between stores is impressive. Both locations offer thoughtful service and a well‑curated selection.

Believe it or not - but I was born 100% female…read more I only mention it here . . . now . . because it has been called into question before because . . . well . . . because . . . there's just no easy way to say this - so here it goes: I HATE SHOPPING! I hate it with a red hot passion. I know. I know. My chick card should be revoked. But its all just too much. The undressing and re-dressing. The people standing too close to me. The random children wandering up to me and 'playing' with my purse. The finding something I love - only to discover they don't have it the color or size I want. Having said all that - I'm a simple girl with simple tastes. And I needed some new shoes. My 'go to' shoes are black flats - specifically Mary Jane style black flats. In the past 20 years - I've probably owned at least 18 pairs. My current pair had been looking pretty crappy for quite some time - and were clearly on their last legs - but yesterday - while at my contract gig - the left one started making embarrassing little 'farting' noises with every step I took. Insert blush. So now that time was of the essence - I went online and selected several pairs of shoes only to discover they didn't have them in size I needed. So I chose any size available - just to generate a 'shopping cart' - then I printed said 'shopping cart' and hot-footed it over to the Famous Footwear Dallas Hwy location. It's spring break for a lot of the kids - so the place was pretty crowded. There was one young lady, Tiffany, working both the floor and the cash register. Tiffany took one look at my printed list and positively beamed at me. After that she was a site to behold - she was running around trying to find all 6 pairs of shoes on my list, while taking care of 6 different customers - yes 6 - I was there for a while and had nothing better to do but keep track. Three of the shoes I wanted were not in stock and she actually took the initiative to bring over 3 different comparable shoes for me to inspect. I know I'm gushing - but this was just such a stellar example of customer service! Not sure why she was the only person working - but she handled the situation like a true champ. She was cute, charming, funny, energetic, patient, determined - and a whole host of other adjectives I'm too tired to type. Not sure if you'll ever see this review - but if so - keep up the good work, Tiffany! You're awesome!
