Uniquely enough this store is located at the very far end of the mall versus where I parked by Saks Fifth Avenue. On this particular day, it was great to see the store with a lot of staff and a lot of clients. However, I was not pleased with the fact that I had to wait in line to get inside. I was also not pleased at the security guard at the door only asked me out of the people in line if I had any intention of buying anything or if my visit was purely just to look. I would like to say that this was not done intentionally and I would like to say that this was not done on the basis of race however, the women in front of me who are in line we're not asked these questions and also did not look like me. Luckily, the lady who helped us inside was very kind and understanding. I had to make my annual in person physical visit to the store. So I do not have a relationship here however I have a relationship at a different store. The selection here was average. I thought there would be more options here considering that it was Atlanta however it was decent. It was very busy, especially for a weekend Saturday. I did manage to find a few things in stock and make my annual physical in person purchases. So I did not walk away empty-handed, or overly disappointed despite the unwelcome greeting by the security guard.

Located on the east side off Moreland, this woman owned shop specializes in crystals, jewelry, candles, incense and all things spiritual. The parking lot is shared with other business in the very small shopping plaza with limited parking spaces. It was quite busy when I went to the store but I was lucky to snag one of the last parking spaces. At the time, the shop was extremely busy due to the sale. I spent about 30 minutes milling about the somewhat small store. They didn't have any shopping bags or baskets for the items so I am unsure if that was the result of the sale or a normal practice. The staff was extremely helpful in answering questions despite being so busy. I was rung up without any issues and left with so many things I wanted at a discounted price.

I arrived around 10:45am, only minutes after they opened and there were at least a dozen people in line and every parking space was taken. I love that for the biz though! I ended up parking in the lot across the street and walking over. I think I stood in line for less than 20 minutes, it wasn't too bad and the weather was great so it was a breeze. The staff was welcoming in guests in small groups, so I figured it was tight in there but whoo! It was an intimate space, definitely boutique-style. We weren't packed in like sardines but luckily, patience and politeness kept the flow going. Items were beautifully laid out and presented on various tables. Earrings, brooches, bracelets, rings, etc. There were different metals, gemstones and more available, all lovely pieces of vintage items for sale. Prices varied, with most items being over $18. I liked the variety! I wish there was even more, but liked that it wasn't packed with too many items, you could see that each was handpicked and sourced with love. I ended up leaving with a dainty gold/silver watch, two David Yurman-esque rings, and a beautiful gold bracelet. At a total of $89, I think I made out quite well. I definitely plan to go back for another pop-up and see how I make out.

The girl talked to another employee the whole time she rang me up. Again, no interaction. This store has a good variety of products, but the parking situation and lack of customer service cancels that out. Since the victory, I've purchased a banner commemorating Georgia's championship season and another banner for the Atlanta Braves' World Series championship last October. But I bought those from the Fanatics.com website. I only recently found out about The Fans Wear. I discovered it by accident as I was in the Mall at Peachtree Center food court. It's a small sports fan store near the Chick-Fil-A. It's very colorful and well lit on the inside. When I stopped by today (February 11, 2022), there was a television broadcasting the Winter Olympics. You can find just about anything representing the major local sports teams (Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United, University of Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Georgia State), from hoodies, banners, collectibles, t-shirts, jackets, hats, book bags, etc., but they also have other teams as well. I was laser focused on finding a commemorative plaque representing Georgia's national championship season. I'd seen some online, but I didn't feel like ordering and waiting for it to come in the mail. The Fans Wear had the exact same plaques that I saw on the Fanatics.com website. A beautiful varsity-style black and white Georgia Bulldogs jacket that I'd never seen before caught my eye, but it cost more than I was willing to spend right then. The prices at this store are a little higher than what I saw on the Fanatics.com website. For instance, the commemorative Georgia plaque I ended up purchasing cost $99.99 there, but on the Fanatics website it just got marked down to $79.99. Still, after taxes and shipping, I probably would've paid the same price ordering it online. I bought a Georgia magnet for my refrigerator that would've cost $7 online but the vendor let me have it for only $5. With taxes, I spent a total of $114.33 for the plaque and magnet. I am pleased with my purchases and plan on coming back soon. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars are the prices and the fact that this store doesn't stay open late. Its hours of operation are 10am - 6pm, Monday - Saturday. Like most stores and restaurants in the Mall at Peachtree Center, the majority of their customers are people who work at the many high-rise offices in the area and the tourists staying at the nearby hotels. It's in a convenient location near the Peachtree Center Marta transit station. If you have money to spend and love sports, you'll enjoy it here.
