I'm giving this review based off of the customer of Seth. A few months ago I came across a deal on a firearm that I just couldn't pass up. After completing all of the online stuff, I kept receiving a cancelation email. I sent Seth an e-mail, and even though I wasn't able to purchase the firearm due to complications on the stores behalf, I still completely appreciated the professional efforts of Seth. Seth went out of his way to look for the firearm and try to resolve the issue, I blame nothing on him or the store and I understand that things happen. Not a respectable company to deal with considering their questionable ethics. They will pretend they have everything is stock and charge your card and then only ship you out a partial order. To add insult to injury, this jokers the partial order they sent you in not helpful because you can not build anything without the missing pieces. Placed a large mag order with DSG a week ago and used a gift card. Didn't receive any order confirmation email and also couldn't find the order by logging into my account. Sent an email to Customer Service and got no response at all, but a couple of days later the order shows up in my account as "pending". 5 days later I get an email saying that the gift card was declined. Well, yeah, because they whacked it for an order authorization last week and tied up the funds on it for the order authorization. Now four of the item numbers (more than 2/3 of the multiple order items, though) are backordered (they weren't when the order was placed) and they are trying to send out just the three p/n's that they (now) have in stock. I tell them to just bill for the whole order authorization amount now and send them when they come in. They say that they can't because they already deleted the original authorization. So now the funds are tied up for 10 business days (2 weeks including weekends) on that card and I'm told that the backordered items "should" be back in stock in 3 to 4 weeks. ZERO care or concern from the CS rep either. I just said, "cancel my order". NEVER AGAIN. Total amateurs. I see that I'm not the only one this has happened to, either. Avoid. read more

Not really the worst, but not great either. I had placed a back order for an optic about 6 months ago which DSG told me it would take 2 weeks to fulfill. After a month of waiting I cancelled the order. Fast forward to today the item still out of stock. Just received Trijicon HD XR night sights from their website. Small problem with billing but customer service was excellent. Package came instantly, in like 2/3 days, it was the cheapest I've seen online, and it was literally the only website with the sights in stock. Absolutely the worst customer service i have ever dealt with. I placed an order online for a magpul stock. After a couple of days not hearing back from them, i decided to give them a call and to check on the status of the order. A gentleman answer the phone and just rudely tell me that my order was flagged for fraud and automatically cancelled. He then abruptly hang up the phone without bothering to tell me why my order was flagged for fraud. I had to find out on my own as to why and discover that it was because i was having my order shipped to a different address than my billing address. Wow that was it?!?!? I guess i cant own two houses. I was amazed at the lack of customer service from this company on so many level. First off if having an order ship to a different address was going to be a problem shouldn't thwy have told me that during thw check out process? I have ordered many thing online and have it shipped to a different address without ever have a problem. Many of which come from thwir competitors Brownells and Midway USA. hell if Brownells or Midway would have the magpul in stock i would not have bothered to deal this crappy company in the first place. Secondly if you are going to cancel an order shouldnt you give your customer a courtesy email letting them know? I have purchased from dsg in the past, and while their prices have always been on the higher side of retail, they are close to me and packages get here quick so it is worth it. I placed an order 12/4/2017 for 2 items, their site said nothing about either item being out of stock (which they both were) finally 10 days later I contacted dsg to find out whats up with the order and they tell me that one item is now in stock and we are waiting for the other to come in before the order is shipped. The piece I'm now waiting on is a set of sights that is from a company also located in the same city as dsg, and come to find out dsg had not even placed a fulfillment order to replenish stock on this item and was giving me the run around on this order. Telling me that "once our order is filled, we will get you your parts" all the while, they had not placed an order with the supplier. I will not do business with a company that flat out lies, and neither should you. Also, when I called to talk about this "issue", I spoke with Mat, and he really did not seem to care that I was displeased with my experience and offered no kind of solution or anything. I waited several months for parts that were in stock when I placed the order, but a month later when they processed the order they were supposedly on backorder. I watched as the parts came back into stock and went out of stock again but never received the order. Finally contacted them and got nothing but a jerk response. As I build my ARs, I like to try different vendors, but I always continue to do business with the better ones. DSG Arms had a good price on something I needed, so I made a purchase. It's been a week now since placing my orders, all my other parts are here, yet my order from DSG Arms hasn't even shipped. As this is the weekend, I don't expect my purchase to be shipped for a couple more days, if I'm lucky. Although DSG had good prices, the lengthy wait for delivery is disappointing.
