I went with 6 chicken wings with an order of tostones no drink for a total of $18.98 which I personally thought was a bit pricey. I did wait a bit but appreciated it as I knew the food wasn't sitting there. The young man said I think you will like the tostones and he was right. Nice taste and just crunchy enough. The chicken wings were good but I like them a bit crispier. Overall besides the tostones it was just ok for me.. you can dine in or take to go

They offer different sizes and the more you order, the more flavors you can choose from; 6 pieces - 1 flavor, 10-25 pieces - 2 flavors, 30 pieces - 3 flavors. The prices are good, a little better than those other places. I ordered on the phone for pick up and ended up getting honey garlic and spicy honey lemon pepper. There are some parking spots adjacent to the building. The inside is spacious, with 4-5 tables to dine in and it is very clean. The food wasn't quite ready when I arrived, so I took a seat while waiting. After about another 5 minutes, I did receive my food. First impression was that the wings looked a little dry and small (all 10 fit without an issue in the styrofoam to go mall food containers) but I did like that they were drenched in sauce. However, I was expecting the honey garlic to be darker because of the honey, but the sweetness seemed like it came from a corn syrup type substance as it was clear. The spicy honey lemon pepper did not taste at all like any of those flavors, but it was still good. The wings were dry, but crispy. I was treated well, from my phone call being picked up the first time, to placing my order without a problem, and being greeted with a warm smile when I walked in so there is good customer service.

Our food was lukewarm even though we arrived at our pickup time, so we had to reheat them in the microwave before eating them. The sauces were tasty and so was the blue cheese, which was as mild flavored and a little bit on the runny side. All in all, not a bad experience, but Wingstop doesn't make it into our top favorite wing spots in the area.

All of our food was delicious, the employees were super friendly and helpful, and the restaurant seating area was pleasant, attractive and very clean. We ordered a pulled pork sandwich, a pastrami sandwich and a half rack of baby back ribs. Both sandwiches were excellent, but the ribs really stole the show. They were well seasoned and so tasty, but better yet, they were extra, extra tender. We got two sauces on the side - rib juice sauce and the regular bbq sauce and I especially liked all of the herbs and seasonings in the rib juice. The ribs were some of the best I've had in this part of the country and I'm very glad we went to Chub's today.

Chomp is one of those Providence restaurants that I keep finding myself coming back to, even after…read moretelling myself I should probably try something else on the menu. I've eaten my way through quite a few things here over the years, and while there are plenty of good choices, I keep coming back to the Smokey and the Bandit smash burger. At this point, I probably know what I'm ordering before I even sit down. There's just something about that combination that keeps winning. The food here is consistently good. Everything I've had has been fresh, hot, and full of flavor, and the kitchen seems to have that part figured out without making a big production of it. The menu has enough variety that you can come in with different appetites and still find something you want, but it doesn't feel like one of those places with a menu the size of a small novel where you need twenty minutes just to decide what you're looking at. The beer selection is another reason I enjoy Chomp. There's enough variety to make choosing a beer part of the experience rather than simply grabbing whatever happens to be on tap. Prices are also pretty reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, which is increasingly something I notice because restaurant prices have a funny way of creeping upward when you're not paying attention. The location is another part of the appeal. Chomp sits in a great little part of Providence where you can easily make an evening out of being in the neighborhood. There are plenty of other restaurants, shops, and places to wander around nearby, so it doesn't feel like you're making a special trip just to eat and then immediately getting back in the car. Tonight, though, I have to give a special shout-out to Bella, who was our server. She was outstanding. Friendly, personable, attentive without hovering, and genuinely helpful. She suggested adding bacon to my Smokey and the Bandit, which I probably wouldn't have thought to do on my own. I'm very glad she mentioned it because it was an excellent call. Sometimes the best recommendations are the simple ones, and she nailed it. One piece of advice if you're planning on coming here: make a reservation if you can. Chomp can fill up quickly, and given how good the food is, that really shouldn't come as much of a surprise. It's the kind of restaurant where people come back because they already know they're going to have a good meal, and I'm certainly part of that group. Five stars from me. Great food, good beer, reasonable prices, a fantastic Providence location, and genuinely good service. I've tried enough of the menu over the years to know that Chomp has plenty of options, but apparently I'm still incapable of walking through the door without ordering that Smokey and the Bandit. Add Bella's bacon recommendation to the list of reasons I'm going to keep coming back.

That aside, we ordered several varieties of wings, a couple different burgers and sandwiches, and a salad. The wings were OK, but about as dry as could be, almost inedible. The burgers were just eh. The worst item by far was the Caesar Salad. Honestly it looked like someone sliced up lettuce like you would for a sub sandwich, or used a 1990s Salad Shooter, and threw it in a styrofoam dish. It didn't even resemble a salad I'd avoid this place.

The customers are all super nice, unique, and interesting humans. Moreover, the staff of AAJJMO --- Alex, Allen, Josh, Julia, Mike, and Olivia --- are incredibly friendly, witty, and funny. The cocktails and food are also outstanding - I especially recommend the bimbap bowl, fish and chips, korean wings, and burger. You will also find the service to be top notch. The bartenders/servers gird up their loins and exhibit extreme hustle during peak hours, while still being able to charm you with a wink or a joke as they move from table to table. If you have not been to the Ivy in the past few years, I highly recommend it. Since Allen was hired as manager a few years ago, the place has become one of Providence's hidden gems.

Similarly, the fries were definitely from a freezer bag of french fries and barely had salt or pepper. Basically it tasted like what you'd have at like a backyard cookout? TLDR: fine, but it shouldn't cost $18 + tip. For this price I expect a nice toasted bun & homemade fries & a bit more flavor. They also messed up my order which is not a big deal but the waiter came back to the table to confirm my order and when he repeated it back, he had the temperature and the cheese wrong. It was then brought to me with tomato but no lettuce-- I had asked for lettuce with no tomato. The waiter was nice though!
