Our crawl space got wet in all the atmospheric rivers. We called Dry Teach for a consult and would have happily hired them to do the work but they were quite busy. They came out and let us know exactly what to do and that it would have cost 4-5 thousand for them to do it. We got the fans and dehumidifier hooked up ourselves in the places they suggested and already the house smells better than it did even before the rain happened. Drytech is the best. This is the first company you should call in case of a water emergency. I opened a wall cupboard and there was water pouring in the back. I shut off the water but didmt know what to do beyond that, since I have never had to deal with water damage before. Fortunately Ramiro is a pro at this. This team is amazing, well trained and fast. Discovered we had a leak underneath our subfloor on Sunday. Great plumber came out Monday morning and fixed the copper pipe leak which of course had been spraying water on the wood beams for apparently many days/weeks. The plumber referred us to DryTech and they were there in less than 45 minutes for a free assessment and quote. Great price so we decided not to use insurance to keep it off our record and they went to work immediately. Scrubbed and treated for mold, placed several fans, de-humidifier for a few days and once they measured wood moisture content was good they added scented crystals to absorb what they could from the dirt. The remediation crew was also quick in arriving, and removing the damage contents, and documented the items for insurance purposes. I never leave reviews but am compelled to here, as this company is honest and honorable in a way that is so rare! We are renovating a mid century home and upon removing the tub, our contractors discovered a hole in the concrete right where the drainpipe was, leading to the dirt underneath. The dirt has what appears to be mold growing. In a panic, I looked on Yelp and called DryTech. Ramiro took my call and calmly listened. Despite being panicked and ready to pay whatever we had to, Ramiro advised us to just dig up the problematic dirt, follow with mold remediation spray, and allow the contractors to seal with concrete. He literally said that he wanted to save us thousands of dollars since it is in the dirt and therefore removable. I can't express how relieved we are and also how grateful for the honest guidance. We have unfortunately had some less than honest interactions with various entities during the construction process that have left us anxious and mistrusting. I recently had a sewage back up in my hallway bathroom affecting my laundry room and hallway areas.
