I took my daughter's senior ball dress in for alterations since it was too long. My daughter is 5' tall. Helen, owner of Dry Clean Today, was very attentive and helpful. She asked my daughter about the dress, had her put it on, asked how much to take off from the bottom, and took measurements. Helen suggested the length be a bit longer (to take into consideration when wearing with heels). She also shortened the straps. Not going to lie, I was skeptical of using the service based on the reviews but since the poor reviews were yonder years ago I decided to give them a chance. Painless process in getting my 3 piece suit dry cleaned. Not sure how cost compares to others but my total was $26. Not bad imo. You have to pay up front. I love this place so much. I used to be the kind of guy who'd throw out a garment that tears because the cost to fix often exceeds the cost to replace, that hasn't been my experience at this place. To preface this review, I have NEVER had an issue with the service or quality of alterations and dry cleaning. The lady that runs this shop is extremely nice! However, the hours are a different story. I came today at 2pm to pick up my dry cleaning and the door says they are open until til 3pm on Saturdays. But...it's locked up and no one is there. I took this with 2 other shirts to have clean, there was no discoloring or marking on this shirt. When I dropped off, the lady briefly looked at the shirts, took my info and promised to return Friday. When I picked them up she laughed about how big the shirts were and handed to me. When I got home my husband was going to wear the shirt but we saw this. I took back the shirt on Monday, the lady literally lied and said she told me about the damage and it came in. She said she should have took a picture. I told her that it did not come in this way. She angrily took the shirt and told me they had tried bleach, which it clearly states no bleach on the label. If those stains are not cleaned on pickup. She will have to pay for the damage. I had not had any problems with the cleaners till now. Very upset. read more

Completely useless. Was told the clothes would be ready by Monday and finally got them on Thursday . The lady at the front desk was curt and would just tell us it's hard getting staff and that why . Haha Tyler, glad I read your review first, however I am going to reitterate pretty much what you said anyway. Dry Clean Today will only process your cleaning TODAY if you pay an extra $3 total to your order (not per garmet, thank goodness). So, they should adjust their name to Dry Clean every three-five days. Because had I not forked out more that's when my clothes would have been ready for pick up. I mean, this whole concept would work, if I were a decent planner and thought ahead. However, I am used to instant gratification and if I drop something off around 9am today I expect it by around 5 tomorrow. I think that's reasonable. But not four days, come on! Thank goodness I purchased the yelp deal. I just had this feeling if I checked on yelp and checked in there may be something there. And, I was right! That saved my $5, however I then had to give $3 more, so it really only saved me $2. The lady who works there too should address the time of pick up before you pay, this would save a lot of time of arguing and paying the 3 extra dollars to get your stuff back sooner. If you plan ahead, and don't need your clothes back quickly this is an ok place to go. If you want faster service and don't want to be hasseled then go somewhere else. Preferably, a cleaner that dry cleans their clothes on site. read more

My husband tried this place for the first time because of the reviews. He needed a same day service to get his jacket cleaned. He came in on a Monday at 8am and paid the extra fee for same day service to be ready in evening. They informed to come after 5:30pm on the same day. My husband showed up at 6:15pm and his jacket wasn't ready. He expressed that he paid for same day service. She told him to come back tomorrow. My husband showed up the following day and when received his jacket, requested his refund for the extra fee for same day service. The lady refused to give him his refund for the fee when he didn't receive same day service. Finally after arguing she finally gave him back the refund for the fee. Horrible service. If you charge someone for extra service, and that service isn't met, you honor that refund. We will never go here again! Dishonest and rude! Shout out to Hellen for always being so flexible and convenient. I've had so many great experiences with dry clean today. Hellen has always done last minute alterations for my Indian outfits. She always figures out how to fix difficult blouses. The pricing isn't too much either. She will work with you to figure something out whether it has to do with sizing or pricing. I found this place in 2019 and ever since then I've always gone to her for my alterations. All my alterations are done within a day or two which is so amazing because I'm always last minute. Lady does not know what she is doing or saying. Very incompetent. I go to pick up my alteration and she asks for my name and phone number and I give it to her. She says I have nothing to pick up cause she put the wrong info in the computer. Next thing she says is we don't do same day alterations. I tell her I paid extra for it and she asks for my receipt. I show her the receipt and says wrong name that she put in. She goes and grabs my pants and tells me I should've told her I'm here for alterations. Uhh.. first of all.. what would me telling you alterations change anything when you told me we don't do same day alterations and second you should've put my info correctly in the system. I do not recommend this dry-cleaner, especially for alterations. I brought in a suit jacket that I said to the proprietor I needed by a certain date for a wedding. It's non-negotiable, I need it by Wednesday and she said no problem. The claim ticket she gave me said "PICK UP WEDNESDAY". So I showed up today and the first thing she said was "it's not ready. It's not even here." First of all, she never communicated to me that they would be sending my jacket out to Roseville to get altered. Secondly, if you're not going to have something done in time when you've printed me a claim ticket with WEDNESDAY on it, the very least you could do is call me and let me know it's not ready. She was very unapologetic which made it way more frustrating than it already was to begin with. Now I have to go pick it up in Roseville an hour before I need to be officiating someone's wedding. I've experienced good work on dry cleaning and alterations with Suits and it's really reasonably priced. Convenient location and always ready on time. My one complaint is that I had a formal dress altered, taken in and hemmed and paid $90. The hem worked out well but the area it was supposed to be taken in was subpar and the seamstress told me she would remove the boning but then didn't and the dress was still a little too large at the top. Unfortunately I didn't have time to get further alterations done because it was for a wedding I was in. I also had a skirt taken in and hemmed and the hem was good but the part that was taken in made the shape very odd. I would still recommend the dry cleaning but nothing more complicated than hem for alterations. read more

Then came back to pick them up and "they originally rang us up wrong" so they charged us $20 more. They were ready by Thursday but to be honest was very inconvenient having to wait till after 5:30 p.m. to pick up them when they're close at 6:30. So very tight window to pick up.
