Best cleaners in the area!! They are miracle workers when it comes to getting stains out of clothes. I recently took a white denim jacket and white pants to them to be cleaned and they came out immaculate. Bright white, no stains and beautiful. I had taken them in and handed them over knowing full well that both were lost causes but to my surprise and delight they are bright white, stain free and beautiful. A waitress had spilled a full glass of iced tea on the jeans and jacket and i figured they were hopelessly lost but American Cleaners saved them! Dropped off my work uniform- a pair of blue slacks and two white shirts, one worn once and one new. Kept them in the plastic for a couple of days until I needed to return to work and noticed a weird smell that was similar to curry. I thought at first it was just something in the air, but the smell persisted. The next day, I was ironing the other shirt (the new one that I had cleaned) and noticed that it also had that curry smell to it when I ironed it. I also noticed a couple of spots on the new shirt. I brought in a white tuxedo dinner jacket that mysteriously picked up a very long red wine stain since I last wore it. I was very disappointed the last time I went to American cleaners. I always bring my husband's clothes in there, shirts for laundry and sometimes suits for dry cleaning. Normally when I drop things off I deal with a nice young man but on this occasion I was taking back a shirt that I had picked up earlier in the week (in my order of nine shirts) but one still had a small stain on the front. This time there was an older woman behind the counter that immediately said they would not redo it unless I paid for a dry cleaning price. So basically she wanted me to pay another six dollars on top of the price I had already paid for the shirt to be cleaned. She was also very abrupt and had quite an attitude. Picked up my third set of shirts laundered/dry-cleaned today. I was waiting to write this after a few rounds of service. Finding a new cleaner is like a first date each time; it's either gonna go well or it's not and then do it again. The one thing I look for most (other than are the shirts clean) is consistency. So far, my shirt condition coming from American Cleaners is consistent. I'm taking in my everyday work shirts ... nothing fancy. My expectations are that the shirts be clean, wrinkle free, and no new stains. While my last cleaner was consistent, the consistent factor was damaged shirts every time. The prices here are good. Currently, they offer a discount on laundered shirts if paid at time of drop off. I've been back in town now for over a year and pretty sure this place will be my go to for cleaning. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE Where to begin. If I could give them minus 5 stars I would. I took my suede jacket to see if they could get coffee stains out of it. I was given a claim ticket for $9 but she said it might be a different price and that the owner would be in later to look at it and he would give me a call and let me know if he thought they could get the coffee out. The owner never called me back so a few days later I called and left a message inquiring. Again no call back so then I called another day and the girl at counter said they would have to send it out. I said "someone will call me with a quote first right?" And she said oh yes, the owner will be in later and he will call you. Again no call. Finally I get a voice message that my jacket has already been sent out, is back and ready for pickup. It sounded like he said it will be $17. I was surprised because they never called to give me a quote but hey only a few dollars more. I went in to get my jacket and the girls says that will $78!!! I was outraged, I would not have agreed to $78. She called the owner so I could speak to him and he said because he had already paid someone to clean it I had to pay and only agreed to go down to $50 even though it was their error in not quoting me a price first. It was like my jacket was being held for ransom, I felt like grabbing my jacket and running out of there but I paid the $50 to redeem it!what terrible customer service!!! read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I've never in my entire life had such a bad experience. I called them since I noticed when I got home that all of my clothes were stained and ruined by some sort of chemical. It smelled horrible like they had been submerged in perfume and there was white powder on them! The clothes were also all wrinkled and they put creases when I specifically asked for none! When I spoke to the young man who answered the phone I explained how upset I was and that I wanted my money back. He was super sarcastic and told me "well you're going to have to come in to speak to my dad". IT GETS WORSE.... I came in to speak with the father (owner) and he was very rude the entire time, even tried to charge me for the dry cleaning service!!! He also said that they're machines did not put the stains on my clothes and accused me of lying! Why the hell would I put stains on my own clothes?? LOL! The owners wife was apologizing for the husband as he was yelling like a psycho in the store. When other customers would walk in he would quite himself, smile, and act beyond nice. I am only in town for 3 days and it is a wedding I am participating in so I wanted to make sure my suit was cleaned and pressed. On top of that my sister needed her dress steamed. The wonderful lady at the counter made it two separate tickets so we could get the dress before the suit and she assured me that it would be on time. She also explained that just steaming the dress might not get all the wrinkles out. I felt very confident when I left. My sister picked up her dress the next day and it was wrinkle free. Awesome!! My first time here and probably will be the last, I took couple of shirts and dresses maybe total of 7items the lady who took my clothes gave me a total of 92$ when I went to pick up my stuff in a WEEK!! They told me my total was 96$ (no biggy) so I paid and left, got home to see one of my dress is all ruined, none of the shirts were hung correctly, my dresses were inside out!!
