Needed to wash some large blankets, comforters and the like. Thought a laundromat with extra large washers and dryers would be better than our own equipment. This place was super clean, not too busy, and the staff was extra helpful. It was $8.75 for the extra large washers, and that gets you two free dryers after that. Not a bad deal for what we needed. Extra points for being super close to our house read more

On September 13, I come in to do laundry around 6 o'clock 530 to 6. I get my laundry done and I expect to use the free dryer and all 12 dryers were taken up, but there was only three people in the entire building after having to pay for a dryer. I then realize that the employees that are working there decided that they would do their laundry and take up all the free dryer so no one else can use them read more

I had to call the owner. To see how I can get my as (ADVIERTISED Free DRY) . Attendant was gone. I had put my clothes in the dryer. Owner said he can give me the app to download. But he said let him see were she is. I said ok . He calls back said she is a 5 minutes away. I told him my clothes are going to get wrinkled. He said ok I can give you the app to download. I told ok let me give you to my daughter. The owner tells her that the attendant is 2 minutes away and that the app dosent work yet. And hanged up. Why did he lie . The attendant still hadn't came. So I had to put my money in the dryer so the clothes don't get wrinkled. Attended comes in I ask for my refund she said she couldn't give it to me. To call the owner if the owner says yes she will give it to me. I called the owner now all of of sudden he dosent answer the phone. Once these are dry I will not step foot in this laundry Matt again and for the owner to do what he did was wrong. Oh and I have to forcefully put a star so my review can go through. It is a 0 Star for me read more

Mary always comes through! This is a great place to take your laundry - particularly if you're a busy person you can be assured - their services have you covered!! read more

They have a sign MAIN SIGN ON BUILDING that says FREE dry but aren't set up to give free dryer (the lady working informed me) so you have to pay high prices for the wash and then pay for dryer. FALSE ADVERTISING !! I had already washed my clothes and had wet clothes when I find out. I ended up leaving with my clothes damp because the dryer doesn't work very good. THEY ALSO ARE VERY DIRTY DONT RECOMMEND THIS LAUNDROMAT. read more

I took my clothes here for wash and fold service on Sunday 6/1 and they did an excellent job yet again. We got off to a rocky start but this time (and last time) excellent service. Thank you so much and see you in a couple weeks!! read more

Is now under the name Lux Laundry Free Dry. Problem number 1: Not actually free dry The attendee explained the machines are just not set up that way *yet* and when I suggested just providing the quarters since it all goes back into the same inventory she said no. After a few minutes when I walked away she came over and did finally offer it. Problem 2: the mold and build up inside the detergent containers is disgusting. I almost turned around and walked out. But I needed to kill time and get my blankets washed. Problem 3: roaches everywhere!!!! I was sitting at one of the tables filling out papers waiting for my clothes to wash 3 roaches ran up on the table. I waited in my car for the dry cycle.... I usually go to laundry garage across town off el camino and I promise I will never be going anywhere else ever again. No matter how much time I have to kill. read more

I've been coming to this laundromat for about 9 years or longer loyal customer New ownership now the place really sucks. The old Mexican lady that works here has an attitude with any questions seems like it's natural with her I use the big washer which won't fit in a small dryer I can only dry half and then when that half dries I can dry the other half when there's only two customers in the laundromat now shouldn't she just let me use two dryers? It's supposed to be free drying with large machines so free drying takes twice as long because of attitude and ignorance that she's wasting someone's time last Time here here read more

Just went to my first laundromat and picked good one. Mary was very nice and helpful. I recommend this Laundromat for your next laundry experience. Thank you Mary for your help!!! read more

A+ experience. Just over a month ago our home had sewer line issues and we couldn't wash clothes for over a week while waiting for a company to come fix the issue. In the meantime we came into Happy Laundry with many loads of laundry. We opted for wash dry fold service so my wife and I could spend time together that evening. We were able to have a nice date and I was surprised when Shelly contacted us a few hours later to let us know our laundry was ready for pickup. Thank you for taking care of us Shelly! read more

I have to give Lux Laundry (nee Happy Laundry) credit for having staff the caliber of Mary. She is always professional, helpful, courteous and kind. It is always a pleasure to interact with her. As a disabled senior her kindness and helpfulness is always appreciated. When I told my adult son how she treats me he replied "If she is helpful to my mom, I love her already!" That's great service. If you've got loads of laundry to get knocked out, bring them to LUX Laundry! * best place to get heavy bedding, blankets, duvets, comforters, this is the place to get them clean and fresh for the New Year! read more

This one of the worst service I ever experienced from a wash and Fold plus they lost my laundry bag!!!!

Wouldn't recommend! Mold or soap on every lid compartment. Not clean at all. Don't use the huge dryers, they don't dry. read more

Great laundry service! Mary was very kind and helpful. Loved the fact that they have extra large load washers so we could wash our heavy comforters quickly and easily. Nice, clean business . read more

I have gone there several times and they have the best prices. The laundry is clean and friendly customers go there. What amazed me was you get a Free Drying if you do a wash there. Mary who works there is the most helpful and a friendly personI have ever met. I would highly recommend this laundry to everyone In Sacramento. It's also easy access from Highway 50. read more

Always clean with plenty of washers/dryers. It's also more reasonably priced. Mary (attendant) keeps the place running smoothly. Mary is AWESOME! read more

I'm lazy... I could do my laundry by myself, but I'd rather have someone do it for me. I almost always deal with Mary, who is absolutely wonderful. They do a wonderful job of washing and folding my laundry, and I get it back the next day. Plus, they toss me a small discount because I am a veteran. I am very happy here and would not go anywhere else. Thank you. read more

This place does have all the necessities expected if a laundromat. Enough room to fold your clothes, enough washers and dryers so as to not make things too competitive with other customers, and on-site detergent to buy if you forgot yours. There is even a laundry service if you'd rather not do your own and TV to keep you entertained while you wait. The only thing really working against this place are things beyond its control such as the location. The seem to be some unscrupulous characters in the parking lot at all times. Some AC wouldn't hurt either. Other than that, not a bad joint. read more

I came in right when they opened at 6:30 am. Surprised that there wasn't any homeless sitting around asking for money like the other laundry mats in the area. That's probably because I came here at 6:30 AM. Clean place but machines NEED to be cleaned inside the soap dispensary area. There is so much caked up soap and mold inside the soap cups it grossed me out! It's not that hard to keep the machines clean inside and out. A little bleach and it's clean! For the most part for being Rancho Cordova it's a pretty decent laundry mat. The only other recommendation that I would suggest is that if you advertise for free Wi-Fi then post the Wi-Fi password somewhere so that way for those of us who are in school can do our homework or work assignments while waiting for our clothes to wash and dry. Other than that pretty decent place for the most part read more

LUX Laundry - Free WiFi can't beat that! Plus Tony next door... gotta love it! - Laundromat Near Me - Rancho Cordova, California

This also called LUX Laundry now too. Happy Laundry signs are still up. I'm not sure what the transition is about. Unfortunately, their storefront and Website both say "free dry". Nope! they haven't installed that function yet, and they make no effort to let you know until you ask why the dryer isn't working. Hey LUX, you owe me $4. My value rating was based on their honesty about their value. The washers are reasonably priced, but I imagine that will go up when and if the dryers are free. read more

As a out-of-town traveller in Rancho Cordova, this is my first laundromat wash in about 30 years. It's very clean with commercial washing machines for my 1-week of laundry, plenty of room - $2.75 for 35 min wash. Detergent (for 4 loads) = $1.75 and fluffy smell good sheets (x20) = $1.50. Probably cost me $20-$40 at the hotel. The Happy Laundry has change machines, snack and laundry supply vending machines - super convenient. Amber, the attending employee, was really nice, helpful, and keeping the place clean. I only found this from a Yelp close to my hotel. Highly recommended. Amber even recommended me a great pizza place (Mike's) around the corner. Thanks. Oh, there are folding tables and free WiFi. read more

I love this place because they offer someone who can do the work for you! Shelly is truly a blessing to my life. I've been coming here for almost a year now and at first Maria washed my clothes. I find it hard to trust people my kids and my clothes so when Maria left , I was nervous. That's when Shelly stepped up assured me she could do it. If there was ever an issue she resolved it right away, with an enormous amount of respect! I won't let anyone else touch our clothes and I make sure to save a little each month because it's worth the money. I am extremely pleased. Thank you Shelly !!!! read more

Came in to do laundry at 8:00pm. The sign says closing 11:00pm, the attendee was badgering me and my 13 year old upon entry of our immediate return to get him and food to eat. We drove across the street and came back. I left to check on the laundry and my son needed a shower after his sports class. I took him and my fiancé came with me because I had a really weird feeling about going alone. We went in and grabbed the bags to check on the driving it was about 10:00pm. Our dryer was only a few minutes, upon arrival the lady was putting my clothes and my baskets out in her hands. She was extremely rude and offensive. My fiancé is freaking out and having a panic attack because of it. The same as my son whom is 13 earlier. The lady next to us also has a dry next to her her time was 25 minutes and ours was 3 minutes. I asked the attendant if I could use the restroom. SHE DENIED ME ACCESS TO PEE IN YOUR LAUNDER MAT. I spent about 50.00 dollars if not more at your laundry mat. I then checked the times because now my fiancé is confused and at this point visible upset at the whole situation. This lady is CRAZY! She was dodging me after I checked this sign it took me a few minutes to see her dart back and forth. read more

The woman that work here is so mean and rude and she always have a really bad attitude she brings her son to work and act like helping him with something is way more important than helping customers half the washing machines and dryers are always out of order and it's always super packed and a lot of times this place is very philthy especially the inside of the washers this place need a remodel new employees or just shut it down! read more

Just moved to the area and I have been looking for a place to do my laundry since my new place doesn't have a washer/dryer. Moved into a house in the area and decided to use the landromat until I get a washer and dryer. This is the first time coming to a landromat since I was a kid and based on review's I decided to use this place. Here's what to expect of you've never done this or haven't in a while. 1. Bring quarters or bills - if not use the Safeway around the corner and cash back $5 should get you through 2 loads wash and dried. 2. $1.25 for one load on the basic top load washer enough space for a weeks worth of clothes. 3. Bring detergent/spot cleaner/ dryer sheets - the machines take any type - pods, liquid or powder seem fine. Otherwise be prepared to pay for inflated prices out of the vending machine. 4. Big dryers are 25c for 4 mins. Small dryers are 25c for 8 mins. I did 75c They advertise free WiFi - but it requires a password and the attendant wasn't always available. I saw someone briefly but they closed the employee only door and after knocking 2x I have not seen anyone. There is a restroom, it has a numerical lock on it but it was unlocked while I was here. Due to the attendant being not present 100% I would come with the expectation that it's locked. Docked 1 star (3.5 would be more appropriate) because I came for the free WiFi and based on the other review's expected there to be "helpful And friendly staff". They do have 2 tvs playing whatever daytime shows are on. They dont take cards. I can see parking being an issue because it's a bit of a tight lot. Come at the right time (they're open really early) and it's not a big deal. I'll be back hopefully with the WiFi password! 2 loads of laundry washed/dried/folded = $3.25 + 1hr 30 mins They advertise to wash your clothes for you. Around 2 bucks per pound plus tip of course. read more

This laundromat was an okay place to go to if you want cheap and quick. I luge it because of the closeness of it to my place, and the availability of machines. Plus it's very cheap. However if you have a choice in using laundry mats in. The area, I wouldn't go here. There was a lot of dirt in the corners of the laundromat, and caked on soap inside some of the washing machines. The vending machines are almost all gone as well. read more

This is the CLEANEST, UP TO DATE, INEXPENSIVE, Laundry Mat in Rancho Cordova. I have been using it for 4 years. The new owner has done a great job on making it an enjoyable place to do your laundry. From free WIFI to phone charging station, Television , Music, food and laundry products vending machines. The most important to me is how clean it is. The owner & cleaning lady are helpful and courteous. The large machines, washer and dryers alike are awesome for large jobs. The wash and fold service is convenient, fast and affordable. I'd give it 5 Stars but want to wait for the finished product....might need a few extra stars. Overall its a great place. read more

I went to the laundry they were charging me $0.50 just to change my quarters new Personnel not good with customers ..

I have been using this companies wash and fold service for a few months while I'm in town for work. I always get my clothes back fresh and folded (which is exactly what I'm paying for) and the service is always friendly. I work outside and my clothes are always filthy when I drop them off and the lady doesn't even blink. I will continue to come back and use this service until I get posted somewhere else. read more

I used this place for their wash and fold service. They charge .35 per hangar if you want your clothes hung. Even when I just wanted shirts and pants hung, they hung my t-shirts etc. even though I specifically asked them not to, and charged me anyway. They also don't understand the difference between fabrics, so every time I got my clothes back, they were terribly wrinkled, even when they hung them up. Avoid this place, there are many others. read more

This place is priceless. They save me time during the week as a fluff and fold service. My clothes are immaculate. Also it is really clean inside. The owner is cool, But the best part of this place is his employee, I don't know her name but she is a pretty Hispanic young woman and she is very sweet and authentically nice. I could not do her job. She is wonderful at making people feel not disgusting when we drop laundry off. But I know that we are. But she doesn't let it show. She is way cool peeps. read more
