They tasted more like a lower-quality frozen product, which was a letdown. On the positive side, the service was excellent. Even with the restaurant getting busy and a live band setting up, the staff stayed friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. One thing to note is that we initially arrived around 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, only to find out they weren't open and was told that something came up and they didnt open until 3:00 p.m. on this Sunday. Overall, I still enjoyed the atmosphere and appreciate the great service, but I hope the kitchen can get back to the food quality that made Lindberg's one of my favorite spots in the past.

I didn't think it was possible for me to love a Springfield breakfast spot more than Gailey's...and then Druff's started opening for breakfast earlier this year! I love everything about their breakfast menu. Waffles are killer. Cornbread is some of the best I've ever had. BUT my absolute favorite item; the Sweet Million breakfast sandwich. I'm a sucker for anything with goat cheese and this sandwich does not disappoint. And it literally brings me joy that they serve one of their homemade pickle spears with breakfast sandwiches, too! It's quite impressive how a waitress can interrupt a conversation so many times without bothering to grasp the context. Her unsolicited opinions, delivered in a rather rude manner, really added to the experience. And I must say, questioning our lower tip while we were paying was a unique touch. A fun little date spot! It was hard to find a time that they're open but they never disappoint! Every grilled cheese I've tried has been fantastic and their ice cream sandwiches are to die for!
