Best breakfast in town, and that's saying a LOT!! Our #1 go to is the Freakin Franch Toast, followed by the scrumptious Downward Spiral, which i love all mixed together in a to go box, gravy galore! Eggs perfect. Our first order was iffy, but we gave them another chance and have been enjoying Sunday breakfast for a while now. #Winning. Amazing small little gourmet grilled cheese and soup shop. They also offer beer and assorted other drinks. I got the good doctor grilled cheese which was incredible. Had gooey cheddar cheese and bacon jalapeños and cream cheese. A tad expensive for a grilled cheese, but very good and great for a quick lunch read more

While I haven't been to their location, we ordered the food for a company meeting and they were really good. The sandwiches we had were plain grilled cheese, tomato+basil+vinaigrette+provolone and it was delicious. There was a bacon+eggs and cheese sandwich which everyone seemed to love too. The pickle and chips were good too. The side salad came with two basic dressing and there was nothing to complain about. It's a great "to order" for meetings kind of lunch! read more

We had 4 people in our party. When we got there it was a full house, only one table available. We sat down and were there for about 5 minutes before anyone said anything to us and it was to ask us if we could move to a smaller table because some other guests had left and there was a larger party that had walked in. We agreed and moved tables. We then got service and ordered our food. We were there for an hour and 45 minutes and nothing we ordered was complicated. It took way to long to get our food. Then it took awhile to get our check and to pay. It was not the greatest customer service experience. On a positive note, the food was very tasty! It is unfortunate that we will probably not return based on how long it took. read more

my mom came to springfield to visit a few weeks ago. she was craving grilled cheese so we decided to try this place out. the food was great! the bread was grilled to perfection and the vegan melt had the perfect ratio of dressing to vegan patty. the inside is very quaint and well lit and homey. my only issue was that the server came off as a bit moody but maybe i'm just sensitive i don't know. read more

This place is great any time of day. Come in early for their break or at night for a beer. You can't go wrong.

Had never been here before and decided to stop by and give it a try. A cute cozy place. Started off with the Moscow Mule to drink. Which came in a copper cup. The taste was delicious and fresh tasting. I ordered the LA CJK to eat with a side of their tomato soup to dip it in. The sandwich also came with one of their housemade pickles and chips. The flavors of everything especially the pickles and soup were spot on. And the cheese on the sandwich was melty which is important with a grilled cheese: I paired my sandwich with mother's cobra head beer. Staff was friendly but not to talkative. Cold day and we had heard about this place for a great grilled cheese. Two children and two adults in our party. We all loved it. Service was great with our waitress very attentive and pleasant. One good doctor and some Crump classics. Food came out super quick. Perfectly toasted grilled cheese and tomato soup. My husband had the pickled potato soup and said it was heavenly. It was so good. I never liked tomato soup growing up, or the few times I tried it as an adult, but holy tomatoes, this place makes an amazing tomato soup. It's got the consistency of crushed tomatoes. Not liquidy smooth. I have loved every sandwich I've tried. The pickles are out of this world. And their classic cocktails are spot on.
