    The worst rental car experience I have ever had…read more We were scheduled to pick up two standard SUVs at 6pm after we arrived from our flight. Our flight was slightly delayed and so we did not end up making it over to the rental car counter until about 7pm. Once we made it to the counter, the lady estimated that it would be a twenty minute wait. We waited about 40 minutes and then went up and spoke to her because we started to talk to the people around us who were saying they had also been waiting over an hour on a car. When we talked to the lady at the desk she told us that someone had to go over to the other location to pick up our cars and that they were on the way. Another twenty minutes go by and we wait. We ask her again and she then says that she is unsure if we will be able to get our size of car that we reserved. She asks if we can accept another car. Unfortunately, even with the standard SUVs, it will be a tight squeeze, so we cannot switch. Also, she told us previously that the car was on the way? So this must have been a lie. In addition to the initial lie she told us that it would be 20 minutes until our car arrived (since everyone around us waited at least an hour and a half). Another 25 minutes go by. By this point, everyone in our group is cursing Enterprise's name and saying we will never rent from them again. We ask to talk to a manager. And magic! Somehow, five minutes later, when we go back to the back, the manager has gotten our cars ready and is waving our keys because he knows that he was about to deal with some very angry customers. I would also like to note that when we went to the back, there was a big tray of sushi and about 5 people sitting around, not working. Very confusing because the manager, when explaining why things took so long, told us that they were low staffed. But it just looks like the staff were too busy eating sushi to do their jobs, and the manager was fine with us waiting an hour and a half while he had plenty of staff sitting around. Avoid this location at all costs.

I was just in a car accident that morning and dealing with my insurance company was a nightmare.     I would really like to recommend this business and it's rare that I give out one star reviews, but…read moreunfortunately dealing with this rental car agency has caused more than a few headaches at this point. In November 2024, we had arranged through Carstar to rent with Enterprise Okotoks while our damaged vehicle was being repaired. My husband went to get the rental and had to wait for over an hour due to them not having any cars available except one that needed an oil change. We were told that there would be a vehicle ready, and there were no vehicles ready at the time of pick up. My husband was subsequently late for work due to the mismanagement of time and Enterprise having to do an oil change in order to free up a single vehicle. After our damaged vehicle was unable to be fixed due to a missing part at Carstar, we set up a new repair last week, and was provided with the only rental car left for Okotoks Enterprise, which was a fairly new Mercedes. There was a crack in the windshield that was noted at time of pick up. Not only did the trunk smell like smoke (we do not smoke and wanted a nonsmoking vehicle), it also had crumbs within the seats. It was not properly cleaned before being rented to us. They explained that any damages under two inches during the rental period would be considered normal wear and tear and we would not be responsible for any damages. After hardly using the car during the rental period (I was not going to drive a car that expensive, no thanks!) it was essentially parked in our garage and only used a handful of times for my husband to drive to work. Upon returning the vehicle yesterday, Okotoks Enterprise has reached out claiming that the windshield crack happened during our rental period, along with a tiny little piece of the bumper that appears to be missing. I'm talking the size of three grains of rice. Both "damages" are being blamed on us. Enterprise Okotoks are trying to scare us with a threat of collections if we don't make a claim through our insurance to cover this cost! This is now causing undue stress and I truly encourage everyone who rents there to pull out their phones and take videos or photos of the rental vehicle and look for anything that they might pin on you to repair after the fact, when you had nothing to do with that damage. I am not sure what to do now, other than continue to refuse to put through a claim, as the damages did not occur while we had the car in our possession.

Upon arrival the only vehicle available was either a car or mini van. When I said that I specifically reserved one over a month ago and phoned stating a SUV again before coming in , was basically given a shoulder shrug. Then the policy they have on rock chips in windshield is ridiculous; like we have control over rocks hitting the windshield. Anyway, not impressed and won't be using them again! Since my review I phoned and let them know I still was not happy. They made sure to find me a SUV and switch me over. They were fast efficient and professional. Left happy.

    they made my truck buying experience the absolutely worst decision, of my life…read more paying over $110'000, for a $87'000 truck, I thought that I would be taken care of & the finance girl @ Sherwood park gmc wasn't just saying "yes" to everything I asked for trying to make a quick sale. I paid $7'500(!) for extended coverage, not realizing that it was going to be for however many oil changes I could fit into 50'000KM's, getting into arguments with every auto-specialist at sherwood-park gmc & jack carter, just trying to get a coolant flush (which never got done), that I was told would not be a problem. only way to get ahold of the sale (specialist) Nico from Sherwood was to go to the shop & than being told that the lady who did my contract, no longer worked there. like it was non-applicable, anymore. hey, he filled up my tank. must have forgot that I paid $4'500 for a gravity fed slip-tank as well. oh wait, that didn't work either. they couldn't even put on a $150 extended fender, so my tires didn't run, every turn. how beautiful a GMC could be, but every associate except the gentleman(s) guiding me into the shop or driving shuttle, have ruined the name with no accountibility or service. one auto "service" technician actually said that she wished she could have charged me more, after I was charged continuously for stuff in my contract, that they magically changed on their side, & I did not get a full refund for. I would never trust these scam artist', they have ruined the name of GMC.

Your are better off ordering your vehicle online and avoid the dealership! Maybe then they will be forced to honor the lies coming out their mouths!
