Where to start?? I do my own winter tires every year. I have two sets of rims and a big garage. Ran in to a strange situation where my two front tires on my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee somehow got crazy over torqued. Past 250. I could not loosen them with my 24 inch arm bar. Drove to the dealership and explained what was going on. They took it in the shop and using a bigger arm bar, and some extra muscle, got them moving. They never actually took them off. They then retorqued to 130, the recommended tightness, so I could safely drive home. Thank you! These lug nuts were after market but purchased from Big Four as well when I bought the vehicle. Got home and attempt #2 to get my winters on went sideways again. At least 8 out of 10 lug nuts on the front two tires were actually ripped in half with only the flanged, last one 8th of the nut (about a quarter of an inch) holding the rims on the car. Back to the dealer. I expected there to be a fairly big issue in asking them to take responsibility for what I felt had to be their error. There was a lot of hesitation on their end admitting responsibility for sure. I knew I could not have done the over torquing myself but Big Four Motors claimed to have not done the last tire rotation which I had purchased with an oil change package from them. They said that rotating would have actually been detrimental to the tire wear and tear at that time. It was decided that I would leave the car with them to figure out next steps and they set me up with a loaner. Again Thank you! They tried using an extractor kit to remove the remaining 8, or possibly all 10 broken lug nuts. Did not work. No grip. Told me they were going to try and drill them out the next day. This was done and the tires were finally off the car. Some minor damage done to the rims but they were sent out for repair. The winters which I had thrown in the vehicle were now on. All ten lugs had to be replaced on the front two wheel assemblies. A complete new set of lug nuts for all four tires was now on the vehicle as well. I asked if they could do the oil change which was due in the next 300-400 KM's and they abliged that request as well. While they had my car, I speculated over and over again as to how much I was going to be charged for everything. I am on a retirement income so unexpected bills can be difficult to deal with at times. Told friends and family what I was going through and all thought that I was likely going to have to pay, at a minimum, for all the parts and that likely they would either give me a reduced rate on the labour, or perhaps reduce the amount of hours that I was to be charged for. I believe it was likely a long and arduous process to get those rims off the car. When I got the call saying the car was ready and that there was absolutely nothing owing for parts or labour, I was ecstatic to say the least. I believe this is the first time I have ever dealt with a dealership that fully owned a situation and did very right by their customer. Kudos to BIG FOUR MOTORS and Service Manager Brian Reed for reaffirming my faith in North American made vehicles and companies!! Final Thank You!! I feel I at least owe them this review!! ...and I look forward to getting another Jeep from you in the future. read more

I can't overstate how impressed I was with Aaron Snowie & Big4Motors. From start to finish I felt like there was no pressure to buy, and Aaron and his team were completely transparent about the pricing and options that were available. They were flexible on timing and gave me the opportunity to drive the truck, and to take a video of it so I could bring that home to discuss things with my family. Went to the Big 4 dealership to meet with Michael Cybulski on a recommendation from a friend. Let me start by saying that if I hadn't ended up buying a car from the dealership, I would still highly recommend Michael to anyone looking for a vehicle. This was the first new car I had bought. I had gone to the dealership with an idea of what I was looking for. Instead of just sending me on a test drive, Michael took a lot of time to talk with me about what I wanted from a vehicle, what I liked and disliked about my current car, how long I planned on keeping it for, vehicle features, and honestly things I hadn't really thought about all together. From there he made recommendations for me and took me through all the vehicles he had spoken about. We discussed what they would offer me, answered endless questions and only then did we go for any test drives. That initial conversation was a great eye opener for me and I found out a number of things I hadn't even thought about in regards to buying a new car as this was my first time. After the test drives we spoke about each of the vehicles. There was no pressure and he gave me all the information I asked for and needed. We spoke about how long he had been with the dealership, why he stayed, what he liked about the cars he sold. Really got an idea of his experience and knowledge too. The car I was looking at had a great deal on and we spoke about deadlines to make an offer to make sure I would get that price if I decided to go with it, once again no pressure. Also got to speak to Michelle in in Finance in regards to options and guarentees. And again I was offered all the information I could possibly need with no pressure. She ever went as far to lay out what the process moving forward would look like should I wish to go ahead. A few days later I called to say I was interested in the car, Michael did a search to make sure I got the colour I was looking for and appointments were booked with Michelle to finish up all the paperwork and to finalise the sale of the car. At no stage did I feel rushed and when going through the paperwork Michelle did a great job making sure I understood everything before we moved to the next step. After the paperwork, Michael and I went through all the bells and whistles on my new beauty. He has also made sure that I get in contact should I have any questions for him and that I was fully aware of the after service plan I had in place. I am going to own my new car for a long time, and my only hope is that one day when I do look for a new vehicle I will have the same amazing experience that I had with Michael and Michelle. My old car would constantly break down. Took it here to find out what was wrong. I specifically asked them to check the alternator. The old guy working the desk told me they ran "hundreds of tests" and not one alternator problem came up, and I just needed a new battery. A day later my battery had drained, so I called AMA and the battery service guy came out, ran a single test and he said it was 100% the alternator. Took it to a private mechanic, fixed it up, ran perfect, but after Big 4 drained me of a few bills. Morale of the story, private mechanics over these scumbags. I will not be returning to this shady dealership for anything. If you want anything good to come out of a trip to Big 4, you must treat them like children and be VERY specific with what you do and do not want, or they WILL take advantage of you and your wallet. Similar run around treatment for my brother and mom as well, and we are no longer big 4 customers. read more

Be very careful, these guys will pull your credit without your permission. This is what I learnt just recently when got my Equifax report. I've never ever applied for a loan at Big 4 Motors. I went in this dealership when I helped a family member to shop around for a Dodge. The family member didn't get approved here so Big 4 asked me to cosign, I clearly told them NO! They got my personal info and made a hard hit on my credit file anyways. read more

Andrew Maw at Big 4 Motors is amazing! Best Salesmen in the city by far! I am as picky as it gets and wants the most out of every single one of my dollars. I'm not an easy person to please. I went to half a dozen dodge dealers in the city and just happened to stumble upon Andrew who applied no pressure at all. He just listened to every single one of my wants and made it happen! He spent two weeks searching for a truck that had every single detail I had asked for! Right down to the tailgate! He even got it in my budget. (Which I thought was impossible after dealing with a few other lots.) After he went out of his way to make me happy he went one step further and made sure I drove off the lot the same day in my new truck! (As I requested/demanded lol) Top Notch Salesmen there! My car broke down by Chinook Centre so I had it towed to the nearest dealership, Big 4 Motors. Everyone I dealt with, from the service advisor to the fellow who picked me up from the train station to the cashier to the guy who brought my car out for me were courteous and professional. I had an answer to my problem within 3 hours and my car was repaired promptly. The bill was right in line with the quote I was given. Feel that I was treated fairly and honestly. What a treat. I live in the far northeast but will be taking my car back when it needs servicing or repairs. read more

I was sad to give this company a 1 star. I wish it could be lower. I recently bought a Jeep from their team. That experience was great and I had high hopes on the service end as well. I recommended this to my significant other who took his jeep in. They did a full diagnostics and worked on a leak that we saw. The service team worked on the cooler lines and also noticed that the car was lagging on the test drive. They cleared it and said it was good to go. After driving off the lot, my service light came on. I called the next morning and they said it was just a sensor issue and that it isnt a problem until it is flashing and to come back in a few days later to get that fixed. I drove for three more days and then my Jeep started showing immediate transmission issues. I took it back to the service group and asked them to double check their work and see if there was possibly a mistake. They cleared me to drive and didn't fully address my concerns when I called back the very next morning to alert them of the issue. They are now completely denying any responsibility for this issue. I have a hard time seeing how a company that tries to pride themselves on their "service" could be so careless and then not even apologize or try to offer a solution. They have said they will cover none of the costs and have very difficult to deal with. I have tried to be reasonable with their team and expected more accountability. Without any further discussion or analysis, they denied all responsibility. I am extremely disappointed with them and will never recommend anyone to visit their service shop. read more

Well, a month ago, I had a new windshield installed. A couple of days later I heard a "tapping" or clicking sound whenever I drove over certain bumps. So I took my vehicle back to them. They fixed it, or so I thought. I still heard the noise, so I took it a back to them....again. Long story short, I've taken it back to them FIVE times for the same issue.
