He came out and looked at the job and gave me the price. So the next week they started, the Crew was 2 guys and Edgardo. They all are hard workers and in one day the had it ready for the concert. It was hot the next day so two days later they showed up and with the concert pumper and the concert truck the job came out great. I'd highly recommend this com

We highly recommend Tony and crew…read more Tony promptly responded to our request for an estimate for a small concrete patio with flagstone cut and grouted on top. This new space is for a hot tub we have on order. The new patio is next to an existing patio where our fire pit is located, and we wanted it to match with the same stone. Tony's bid was fair and he had good availability. Tony even went out and searched for the best matching stone to complement the existing space (other contractors did not offer this service-they suggested we go hunt for it). Tony and his team showed up promptly each morning and stayed consistently until the job was complete. They never skipped a day to work elsewhere or left early "to finish up" somewhere else. The number of days initially quoted for the job was also spot-on. Tony and crew cleaned up each day before leaving and were a pleasure to work with! We love the outcome and highly recommend!!

We recently completed a semi-emergent project with Orange County Block Wall with a situation that…read moreinvolved a collapsing retaining wall that was supporting a large, long (100+ feet) glass fence on top. If the glass had fallen, it was potentially lethal to individuals in the backyard of the property below us. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, Dan, the owner of OC Block was literally "all over it." Working in tag teams with Irvine Fence for both the retaining wall and the glass fence on top, Dan and his crew responded immediately, and Dan co-ordinated the removal of the dangerous glass, then did a fantastic job of navigating a very narrow space, 20 feet above the neighbors backyard. In literally 18 inches, Dan and his team removed the damaged retaining wall and built a new wall, complete with rebar, internal cement and multiple outer coatings, making a long, beautiful new wall. In-between steps, Irvine Fence set new fence posts in the new wall, which OC Block followed with finish coats and finally the glass fence was replaced. The co-ordination of the two companies was seamless and they were in constant communication with each other (and us). Importantly, Dan and his crew were 100% professional. Not only were they prompt and efficient, but they were skillful, caring and made great effort to protect the neighbors not only from danger, but also from the simple dust and dirt that would normally be present during a wall construction. The new finished product looks fantastic, is completely safe, and Dan's team cleaned every trace of their presence even though a few days earlier they had been mixing concrete and setting concrete blocks with rebar. You would never know that they were there, except by the presence of a beautiful new retaining wall and glass fence. If we could give Dan and his company 10 stars we would. We are very appreciative of how they handled our situation and cannot recommend them highly enough. If you have cement or masonry needs, we highly (very highly!) recommend Orange Count Block Wall. Dan and his team will take good care of you with a quality project at a very fair price. We truly can't thank them enough for all that that they did for us! Thank you Dan and OC Block!

Roman Concrete did an exceptional job replacing and extending our driveway…read more We truly appreciated the owner, Raul, for his professionalism and patience. He took the time to explain every detail, visited our home twice, and remained flexible when we decided to adjust the extension area. The crew was efficient, friendly, and equipped with impressive machinery. We were particularly struck by the value offered; Roman Concrete was the only company to provide 3500 PSI concrete while maintaining a very competitive price. Their attention to detail was outstanding--from the thorough cleanup to the fact that two team members stayed for four hours just to ensure the concrete dried undisturbed. My husband and I highly recommend Roman Concrete. The final result is beautiful, and we look forward to working with them again in the future.

Ralph Briseno heads a family-operated concrete business, and by that, I mean there's Ralph, his…read morewife Vivian and son, Benjamin -- all of whom are immediately available at any time to answer questions, update plans and present better -- and sometimes less expensive options. Bottom line: Ralph Briseno Concrete is all about communication. Ralph came out and gave us an estimate on the entry to our home as well as a side yard, and he was upfront in telling us he wasn't into doing a "dump and run." He told us what he thought we should do and it made sense. The cost was more than I expected, but he explained that Costa Mesa homes are built on an unforgiving clay foundation that is better served with eight-inch thick concrete and rebar. Considering the existing entry was cracked, uneven and lifted in places, we couldn't argue with his logic, and for me, peace of mind goes a long way. Ralph said the project would take a week, and the project took a week. When his largest concrete mixer broke down, he drove back to his business to get another one. No panic. Easy peasy. A while later, Vivian showed up with parts to repair the larger machine. I can't swear to it, but I think I saw this sweet woman doing the repairs herself. Both Ralph and son Benjamin were there every day, digging in with picks, shovels and trowels alongside their staff. And when they left at 3:30 each afternoon, they cleaned up the area as if we were having a party in an hour and the guests were already showing up. As you can see in the before and afters, Ralph and crew are perfectionists, and we plan to hire them in the near future to do some stucco siding on our 35-year-old home.

Very professional and capable family owned and operated concrete contractor. We moved into our…read morehome about 6 years ago. Every year, we would have problems with water entering our garages when we had rainstorms. I had been using absorbent barriers and towels to wring out 5 gallon buckets of water out of the garage - not fun when it's raining at 2am!!!! I had several contractors come out to look at the problem, but none seemed to come up with a reasonable solution (short of re-grading) that would not be unsightly. I found Ralph Briseno Concrete through Yelp, called and spoke with Vivian who had Ralph come out a take a look at my issue. Ralph is extremely creative with coming up with solutions to unusual drainage issues. He determined that a "swale drain" would be the most cost effective permanent solution to my garage issue. Ralph, and his son Ben, came out and efficiently completed the demolition, adding the drains, and putting in the concrete swale - all while minimizing the inconvenience of not being able to use the garages during their work. They also observed all of the COVID protocols for our and their safety. We have had two rains now since they installed the swale drains and not a drop of water in the garages! I am extremely pleased with the work Ralph Briseno performed and would highly recommend them.
