Nope, they shorted us $1,350 on our $6,550 quote due to one scratch (which was mentioned the car was in Fair condition), faded paint (on a 2009), and water in the headlight. Clearly, at $6,550 we weren't selling a new car. What frustrates me the most is having to drive an hour for a waste of time and a negative experience that was a very USED car salesperson situation. This company has great ratings and reviews so I am really surprised that I don't share the same sentiment. Found them online and overall experience wasn't good. First, I submitted my request on a Sunday and didn't get a response until Monday. Seems like they were closed, which is ok, but they should probably advertise accordingly. Next, I received a phone call from a guy named Zack. He was professional. Asked qualifying questions (specifically about operability of vehicle), which is totally acceptable. Then, he shared w/ me concerns about bidding on an older vehicle. Totally get it. He asked how much I was targeting (I quoted kbb) and he shared that his research department would put something together and he would send it over. Zack shared that they don't like buying cars because most of the time they sell them off to auction houses. A few hours later, I received an email that they would not send an offer for my car. I've been researching different places to get the best deal for the car I was trying to sell - Carmax, AutoNation, Carvana, etc. I've never heard about Driveo, but none of them was able to give a better deal than Driveo. A very reasonable and fair process from getting an online offer to an actual offer on-site, and the best thing was the two offers were very close to each other. They only subtracted a very fair amount for replacing tires, and the replacement was necessary. I started to look at different places to get a better deal with my car and I came across this place. At first it was okay they were giving me good pricing and i was happy with the value. Then they started saying that the value is going to change and dropped down so much. I then proceeded to take the car to the Cajon location and as I was driving I called and was mentioning that I was on my way and they were very rude. Appointments are easy to make, I made mine same day to get an in-person appraisal and walked right in to talk with Mike at this location. He was honest with the overall reasons they had to lower the offer on my vehicle, which were reasonable and even recommended I still take my car to Carmax to get a 2nd opinion. I knew the overall value of my car at the time was worth a little more, but they have to make a decent profit as well to stay in business, so for the convenience and honesty, I felt I got my money's worth with their offer.
