My Honda Odyssey had 205,000 miles on it and I was thinking about buying a new car. I'd test driven some vehicles and knew what I wanted to buy. So I thought to myself, "Why not try them out"? instead of going through the Costco buying service that I'd been contemplating using. The process of buying a car can be intimidating, especially if you're a first-time buyer like I was. But working with professional, friendly, attentive, honest dealers not only provides some peace of mind, it also makes the process go much more smoothly. Branco Motors did this for me. I needed an affordable, dependable, economical car. I searched several websites (Craigslist, Autotrader, etc.) and stopped by a few dealerships, ultimately deciding against buying any of the cars I found, for a variety of reasons. Either the cars seemed to be priced way higher than their worth, or the dealerships carrying them had terrible reviews. Then I found a 2007 Toyota Matrix carried by Branco Motors. Great gas mileage, reasonable low mileage, great price (compared against Kelley Blue Book), lots of space to transport people or large items. This could be perfect! First, Art went out of his way to come meet me at their location on a Saturday to show me the vehicle, let me take a test drive, and answer several questions I had about the vehicle. I liked what I saw so I found the best deal I could to finance the vehicle and called him back a couple days later to get the ball rolling. He attended to all the paperwork quickly, and was very patient in answering all the questions that a first-time buyer had about the process. When everything was ready to go, he went out of his way yet again to deliver the vehicle to my house after I got off work (I believe we met at about 6:30pm, an hour and a half after their posted daily hours ended). We went through all of the remaining paperwork and he handed over the keys! It was SO much easier than I expected it to be, in huge part because he dealt with all of the DMV paperwork- HUGE plus, in my opinion. Again, buying a car is rarely easy. But these guys make it easy. If you're looking for a vehicle, I highly recommend at least talking to them and seeing what they have to offer. Do your digilence before buying a lemon from this lemonade stand! Back in 2017 we purchased a boat from Mike. We were told that this boat was in good running condition and was very turnkey. We set up a time to test it on the water and Mike was very accommodating. The boat ran like a champ and we were really enthusiastic about it. Went back to his office and he showed us family photos of his time on the boat and made us excited to begin our journey. He said the only reason he was selling it was because he wanted a bigger boat. Mike was great, offered his services and even provided us with a detailed checklist about the boat. We dry docked the boat until we found the perfect weekend. Ran ok but not like it did with Mike. We just figured we were newbies and ran through the checklist again. We took it out a couple of more times and still something felt off. While out on it the boat started acting funny and luckily we were close to shore. We found a nearby mechanic who has basically had our boat since we got it. Our mechanic is just like a magician, always pulling something out from his hat. We discovered that the reason the motor looked almost new was because the black paint did its justice. Who knew Behr made water resistant paint. As our mechanic would repair one thing something else was covered in paint. For example the rods, talk about a Watergate. They were soo beyond rusted they can't be removed. Go figure the only thing not covered in paint was the exterior! Even our mechanic said we got scammed and wants the boat out of his yard. Before purchasing anything from Mike please do your research so you dont given in to his charm. The only thing I'd recommend is his paint job! Oh and Mike love the new boat you have at the shop.
