New to You Auto Sales gets my 5 star rating to add to their already great collection of several other 5 star ratings and reviews! I had two vehicles coming up to the end of their lease. I had recently replaced one of them with a pre-owned ACURA I purchased about a month ago which was a very good car buying experience. The dealership we had worked with was great. I still needed to replace the second lease vehicle and I wanted to replace it with another ACURA. I began my search to replace the second lease vehicle. I contacted several dealerships in the LA area over the next 2 months to find another well taken care of vehicle at a fair price. You would think finding any vehicle in a densely populated metropolis such as Los Angeles would be fairly easy, with a plethora of options to choose from. Not so much the case or at least not so much my luck until I expanded my search outside of LA and came across New to You Auto Sales in El Cajon CA. New to You Auto Sales not only had the vehicle (i.e. make, model, options, color, mileage, etc.) but it was also in outstanding condition and they offered it at a very fair price! I checked it out from top to bottom and it was in as good as a new vehicle condition. We made the purchase and drove back home to LA county. Once we got the vehicle back home, I had a certified mechanic give it a thorough inspection and everything came back 100% positive with no issues. The mechanic was equally impressed. I definitely recommend this place to buy your new used car! I just purchased a 2011 Toyota Tacoma on the 12th of February, and can say I got nothing short of excellent service. I had been trying to find a used Toyota pickup for at least a year. They are so loved that as soon as a good one comes up for sale it is gone to the first person who sees it. This 2003 had good photos on the website and looked new, inside and out. I raced down to El Cajon (2 hours away) and lucked out, it was still there! Well I have to do an update on a car I thought was a far deal remember buyer beware . I got bit . This car was the owners car and the car fax proved that . The problem was the up keep was the poorest non stock parts get by repairs ,wiring problems as per BMW almost $9000.oo of repairs needed or of I go aftermarket still at $5000.00 . I bought this for my daughter for here to go to school in after talking to the owner. This car is a nightmare and it continues. I CAN'T EVEN SELL IT. I WOULD NEVER MISS REPRESENT AND SLEEP WELL . SHAME ON YOU . I tried to trade it back after 30 days of this mess . No help . So I'm now stuck with a lemon. Don't buy unless you pay a dealer to check it out. They don't tell you the truth. first off i want to give a huge thanks to Mike for making this happen for me! i inquired about a 2006 dodge daytona charger rt that i seen on cargurus.com and was calling about it all the way from the bay area. so i called and spoke to Mike and told him i was interested in the vehicle and he asked a few common questions that any other salesman would ask you if you were to buy a car. so i answered those questions and a couple of the questions were hows your credit? any repos? or bankruptcy? i replied yes! i have a repo and bad credit. then he told me i can work with a repo under your name and that my credit was not bad... let me tell you... its bad... guess what happened next... he was so confidant when he told me that and the car was so clean in the pictures also at such a good price i felt good about filling a credit app online. next day he called me and left me a voicemail to call him back and in that voicemail he did not say i was approved so i felt like i was going to hear bad news... i called him back and he told me he had some great news for me and that he got me approved! man i was so excited! the only problem was that in order for me to check the car out in person i had to travel 500 miles. so i put down some money which was apart of my downpayment just for him to hold the car for me until i got there and he did! also wrote me a receipt stating if i did not like the car he would refund me and buy me lunch. everything that he needed we were able to fax him so when we did arrive he had everything ready and he really did not need anything else from us but junk mail for proof of address lol! so my biggest worry was driving 500 miles (9 hrs.) just to see how good the car really was... when we got there we looked and talked about the car for a good 15-30 mins plus he made me some coffee for me in between and at the same time he was trying to settle in because they just opened. after that he tossed me the key and told me take it for a drive so i did. when i came back i told him lets fill out the paperwork! i was very impressed with the condition of the car! so we stepped in the office and he said there is no paperwork to fill out and that they already have everything they needed so at that point all that needed to be done was signing all of paperwork that was already ready for us. there are a lot of great things i can say about that family owned dealership. they really do make you feel like family there. we drove the 2006 dodge charger daytona rt with 75k miles on it 500 miles back home to the bay area with 0 issues. im telling you! if you are seeing this review before dealing with these guys. do not hesitate to call Mike and see what he can do for you because he did for me what no other dealer was able to do and thats get me approved! thanks again Mike! read more
