bought the car for from them for approx $34,000. Started leaking within the first two months after purchase (traveled abroad so it's safe to say as soon as I started driving it when I got back). I took it in the same shop and was asked to pay for that existing damage. I did because I needed the car for work and my family. As soon as I drove it back home from the shop, the suspension light came on stating I could not drive over 30 miles (I was on the free way). I called them and they kept saying they need time to get the right reader to diagnose it so they could not address the issue for weeks. Finally last week they said to bring it in on Tuesday, which I did today and they told me they would not fix it after I said I'm not paying again it was clearly all on them, preexisting damage, and faulty mechanic work. I was reasonable the first time but this continuing and my inability to even use the car since I practically purchased it was not fair. Their response was practically threatening to never address the issue and for me to leave. So I did. Please do not purchase from them or ANY of their other locations! I'm left without a car and paying their inhouse financing over $500 per month till that $34k clears. If anyone can help me with any information or suggestions please do! read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. We bought a $9,000 car from Sergio at VIP Autos, paid cash and even arranged the transportation for an out of state shipment. From the start, I called and asked for a video walk around, which Sergio forgot to do, and when I called back I had to reintroduce myself and what I wanted. Classy. Then we wired the full amount which they received same day, yet sat on sending the title for a week. It was dropped off with a cracked windshield wiper fluid reservoir, which drained all over my drive way immediately. Pictured attached. When I also previously asked about the tires and brakes Sergio said that they meet the resale standards of 50% wear. When I got the car, I noticed the tires were pretty worn. I took it to the local Discount Tires to fill them up with a little air, and they said because the tires are 15 years (!) old, they cannot service them, but they were beyond where they needed to be to be replaced. Not sure how 15 year old tires can have 50+% wear on them, so nice try. Can't wait to see the true story on the brakes. My advice is to pass on this dealer and salesman. This review is long overdue and I've been putting it off because I knew it would end up being HUGE. I bought my gorgeous low mileage Mercedes e320 from VIP Autos dealership in November 2017, and my mom bought her Mercedes e500 from them one year prior to that. Not only are the staff genuine, professional and the most (genuinely) caring dealership team we've ever worked with, they also go the extra mile to make sure you are completely happy and well taken care of during the entire car viewing/test drive, loan process, AND after the purchase. My mom financed hers through their people and they made the process as painless as it was when I bought mine in cash, despite her not-so-great credit. Fortunately, thanks to my mom's incredible experience with them, I was able to avoid any nightmares trying to buy elsewhere and went straight to VIP. A big added bonus at VIP Autos is that they have on-site fully qualified mechanics which, if you know anything about German/Euro cars, is especially important! Rey and Eric completely took care of me! I came to Rey with what I wanted (something with no headaches, easy maintenance, reliable) and gave him a price range, and he phoned me a week or two later with the car of my dreams! I tried to buy a used car from this dealer for out of town. They mailed us the paper work and later the sale was cancelled due to lack of communications. We put down a $3,000 deposit and the sales rep said it was fully refundable. The sale fell through and now they are giving difficulty about refunding the deposit. The sales rep assured me the owner/manager would handle the refund. Now they claim that can not refund because dmv paper work was not returned. How do they do out of town transactions if they don't have a process in place for sales that don't go through. Very disappointed and reminder of car salespeople that play these kinds of games and create a bad rep for all the other sales people that try to do a honest job. read more

I actually visited this small dealership on April 22, 2022. I found there cars to personify the "USED" car lot feeling. Their cars are dirty, tires either need to be replaced or they have been replaced with different brands, and they are not clean on the inside. Beware that they don't service the cars with low miles. They basically do nothing to make the car appealing. The sales representatives are shady and really aren't honest. They make no deals at all. I bought a car here last summer. I took it for about 10 miles on a test drive and it was great. Of course, a few days after I purchased, it started spewing white smoke from the exhaust and made a whistling noise. I took it back and Ray was able to fix a corroded hose and did not charge me at all. Very much appreciated. After the repair was made, I picked my car up and I got 10 miles before my car just decided to shut off in the middle of the road. I called Ray again and he sent a tow truck to pick up my car. I learned that the cam sensor was out of place and he again fixed this free of charge. It has been a year and I have not had any other problems. I have to say, Ray was very helpful and I believe he honestly did the best he could to make the situation right. I bought a car here last July. Since then these are the items that I have had to pay out of pocket for and one big item I just can't afford to pay for now. 1. Each tire needed little plastic rings on them because the car shook above 40 mph. $ 24 2. New fuel injector $600 3. New reserve tank for the coolant $150 4. New coil pack for the turbo $650 5. New front rotors and new front and back breaks $500 And now for the best part. I bought a convertible and 4 weeks after I bought the car the top broke. New motor and labor $1500.00 It's a money pit. The guy who did my breaks said there were only 3 mm left on them. That's dangerous. I almost got hit by an 18 wheeler on the highway when the coil and fuel injector broke and I couldn't get speed to get up even the smaller hill. In all I would be very weary of this place especially since I always ask about the breaks when I buy a new car and I was assured they were new. They were the farthest thing from new especially since pads new have 19.9 mm out of the box. Do not buy from them. It's a disgrace and the Jenky mechanic who supposedly did the breaks is also useless. Imagine if I did get hit by that 18 wheeler. Imagine if you bought a car for your kid or a loved one and this shit happens all within 5 months. read more

WARNING: STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHADY PLACE! I've been eyeballing the 2004 350z on their lot for awhile. They lowered the price of the vehicle today on their website so I took a trip to the bank to get some finance information. Immediately afterward, I drove over to their lot and took the car to my mechanic of 3 years for inspection. He found two issues that he said would cost me approximately $950 then $200-$300 for the second issue. This is where the fun begins. Magically while I'm having the car inspected, their website is updated and now the car is raised in price by $1050! Hmm that seems shady. Strike 1. After the inspection is finished, I return to the dealership and ask them why the price was just raised on their website while I was at the mechanic. The guy literally types in carsguru.com to show me an old listing of that car. Nice try but last time I checked, their website is named vipautosd.com. Next I show him the mechanic's detailed inspection of what is wrong with the car. His response is that my mechanic is a "liar and trying to rip me off. And that the KBB.com value he told me to go by is a lie!" Think about that for a second. If my mechanic was trying to make money off of me wouldn't he want me to buy a car that needs work? Instead he saved me $15,499. Strike 2 for this place. So as this debate continues, the dealer tells me "they could probably fix the same issue for only $45!" He also tells me that he has been selling cars for years. blah blah blah. The best part was when he said that I can't just march in here and wave around a mechanic's inspection in order to have the upper hand. Oh please pinch me and tell me this is just a dream. Nope it's not. Enter the good guy salesman. "Hey buddy! How can I help you? Let's talk about this and work out a deal." So I tell this new salesman the same exact thing I told the first salesman. He also pretends there was a glitch in the matrix and that the price never changed. I pull out the loan information from my bank with the price I pulled from their website hours before and he changes his tune. He says to me, "Let's put this inspection to the side for just a second and I'll talk to my manager to see if maybe we can sell the car to you at the lower price. But just know that I can't go a penny less even with your inspection details." Strike 3. I get it, it's a business. They want to make money. But I won't be doing business with a shady dealer like this. They thought I was a sucker and I feel bad for the next person that has to deal with this place. read more

These guys have been awesome. I bought a 330 zhp from them a few months ago. I knew exactly what I was looking for, so they didn't have to do much to sell it to me! But a BMW is a BMW, and 180 miles later a check engine light popped on. I brought it back, they diagnosed it, replaced an intake hose, sent me on my merry way without charging me a penny. Had an HID go out 3 months later, 400 bucks at the dealer, I bought an OEM bulb off amazon and VIP threw it in for free. Now to replace an HID in my car requires removing the bumper, so VIP essentially comped an hour and a half of labor for me. They've really taken the worry out of buying a used car, in particular pre owned luxury cars. Their inventory is top notch and I would recommend them to anyone. read more

But when I went to VIP autos the prices were on the lower end of the market and the condition of the cars were in better shape then dealerships that charged at the higher end of the market. It was surprising that such a place existed since I had seen so many dealerships (i drove from downtown LA). But i'm a believer now and VIP Auto will be the first place i will recommend my friends to go look at. The person that helped us was Paul. He was very honest, friendly, and straight forward. We spoke about overall conditions. What typical things i look for when buying used cars. And usually the sales people make me feel like they are trying to hide something or make the cars more impressive then they are but he was very honest in his answers. DO NOT PURCHUSE A VEHICLE FORM THIS DEALER IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE OF CALIFORNIA. 2 and a half months later I still do not legally own the 2016 Mercedes GL I purchased from VIP Autos. Sergio charged me $2,547 for my State of Texas sales tax, which was correct, but instead took the tax amount and gave it it to California DMV. Subsequently mailed me a registration and California plates, no title. I advised both Sergio and Ray, the owner, that it is illegal to register and plate a vehicle in a state in which you do not reside. Since I did not receive a title transfer to the State of Texas as most dealerships would do, I am unable to plate the vehicle myself in the state in which I reside legally (TX). Ray advised me to go figure it out on my own instead of taking any responsibility. In short, I am left with a "Boat Anchor" that my wife is unable to drive. Retaining Counsel and shipping the vehicle back to the dealer. I wasn't looking for a car, but asked him "What have you under 10k". He showed me a number of cars. I fell in love with this Mercedes CL 55 AMG. I took it for a test drive and came back and had Ken at H&A inspect it. He gave me a thumbs up on it. I negotiated a no hassle price with Chris and Paul at VIP. I was out of there in less than an hour. Usually it takes all day to buy a car. I had them detail the car and talked with Ray (Resa). We talked car and what gas to use to keep the car best condition. A few months later I had an issue develop with the very expensive front air shocks. I came back and saw Ray. Short: a great shopping experience with a fun story. Definitely recommended especially if you are looking for some quality used cars, and make some friends. Long: my wife and I have been looking for a clean Audi TT MK1 for a while (we like the cuter looking of MK1, not so much love for the more aggressive MK2/MK3). She found a very nice one at VIP under 50k miles and we went the next day. The time we saw the TT we fell in love. Paul was there and simply took a photocopy of my drivers license, and we were out for a test drive. I used to drive a 2002 Dodge Stratus RT and I simply had something with sport cars from that era - the engine sounds great (if not sexy) and car runs extremely smooth. Besides like other customers pointed out, unlike other dealers they provide you all the carfax records online so you can do sufficient homework before you go. I tried to haggle a bit but it didn't work out well, as honestly their asking price is already very reasonable. Nevertheless, Paul gave me a discount, the next day I brought the money, Chris got all the paperwork done in a couple of hours, I got the key and wife and I were out for a spin. Everything was very great. But the story didn't end there. After a week of driving I noticed the car tend to like to go to the right on its own, and at high speeds the steering wheel vibrate more than I would expect. I was like shoot, did I got scammed? I took the car back and Reza offered free alignment and balancing, but the problem didn't go away. I did my research online and the issue could be steering or axles, which could be expensive to repair. Reza went out for a test drive with me, and I thought just like all other sales guys he would just say: it's a used car, it's normal..kind of crap. Instead, he immediately recognized the problem and said he's 99% sure it's the tires. I was very skeptical, cause I can't see anything wrong with the tires just from the appearance. Nevertheless, he assures me that he's going to take care of it, and we replaced the all 4 wheels from another car. Guess what? The TT drives so smooth it's like phenomenal. I literally almost dropped my jaw - I didn't know the tires alone could make such a big difference it's like night and day. Reza ordered 4 new quality tires to me, and got my car checked to make sure all safety features are working. He even lent me a car to drive around while my car is getting serviced. Be prepared that they are pretty firm on the selling price, but the other services you get from them are far more valuable. A tip for used car buyers: used cars are not like new cars - they tend to have glitches here and there (well even some new cars have far worse issues). What's important is when something doesn't work well, how serious it is and can you find someone to help you out and get it fixed. Make right expectations when you make a purchase. If I could give zero stars I would. I called on a car I wanted to buy and they said they would make a deal so I went over to test drive it. They wouldn't move even a penny on the price. The next day they gave us a written offer just under the original asking price. I went ahead and sold my current car with the deal in mind. Then they moved the price up 1k claiming they made a mistake. We asked them to honor the written price they gave us earlier and Mike was extremely rude and unprofessional. He talked over me, wouldn't let me finish a sentence and had zero customer service skills. read more

I Bought a car from this place 2 days ago, super friendly, helpful & honest people. Love my BMW. It is exactly what I wanted. Their prices were fair and not much to haggle. Their financing was quick and better than my banks. A tire sensor light came on yesterday. Stopped by there and they replaced it right away. That's what I call service.
