bought the car for from them for approx $34,000. Started leaking within the first two months after purchase (traveled abroad so it's safe to say as soon as I started driving it when I got back). I took it in the same shop and was asked to pay for that existing damage. I did because I needed the car for work and my family. As soon as I drove it back home from the shop, the suspension light came on stating I could not drive over 30 miles (I was on the free way). I called them and they kept saying they need time to get the right reader to diagnose it so they could not address the issue for weeks. Finally last week they said to bring it in on Tuesday, which I did today and they told me they would not fix it after I said I'm not paying again it was clearly all on them, preexisting damage, and faulty mechanic work. I was reasonable the first time but this continuing and my inability to even use the car since I practically purchased it was not fair. Their response was practically threatening to never address the issue and for me to leave. So I did. Please do not purchase from them or ANY of their other locations! I'm left without a car and paying their inhouse financing over $500 per month till that $34k clears. If anyone can help me with any information or suggestions please do!

    DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. We bought a $9,000 car from Sergio at VIP Autos, paid cash and even arranged the transportation for an out of state shipment. From the start, I called and asked for a video walk around, which Sergio forgot to do, and when I called back I had to reintroduce myself and what I wanted. Classy. Then we wired the full amount which they received same day, yet sat on sending the title for a week. It was dropped off with a cracked windshield wiper fluid reservoir, which drained all over my drive way immediately. Pictured attached. When I also previously asked about the tires and brakes Sergio said that they meet the resale standards of 50% wear. When I got the car, I noticed the tires were pretty worn. I took it to the local Discount Tires to fill them up with a little air, and they said because the tires are 15 years (!) old, they cannot service them, but they were beyond where they needed to be to be replaced. Not sure how 15 year old tires can have 50+% wear on them, so nice try. Can't wait to see the true story on the brakes. My advice is to pass on this dealer and salesman. Highly disappointed.

I can honestly say that I have never felt so comfortable and happy when buying a car. We were lucky enough to meet Ray and Mike and they made the process so wonderful for us. When we went to VIP Autos, Ray made sure that the car was exactly what we wanted and ensured that we were informed through the whole process. We worked with Mike and the financing that he got for us was better than anything we could find on our own. You could tell that to them, it wasn't just about selling us a car, they were vested in making sure that they were upfront and honest and that we were pleased through the entire process. Ray even went the extra mile and detailed the car for us!! So amazing. In my experience, this is a rarity in the industry and I am so grateful that we met them and bought the car that we love. I highly recommend them!!! We will never go anywhere else.

You know it is discrimination when the vehicle has been on their lot for months, not days or weeks, and has not even been test driven to the point the battery needs to be charged for your test drive. I support non-franchise dealers before I do franchise dealers, but not when you practice discrimination.

My fiancé and I purchased a car here about 3 weeks ago. Being that we were nearly 100 miles away, I…read morecalled in advance to check that the car was available and to see about financing. I was told by the person on the phone, Rick, that the finance company would not approve financing without adding on their warranty, which was an additional $2800. We made the trip out there and after sitting down to talk financing, I mentioned that the price was pretty high, considering the year and condition of the car and then suddenly they're talking about how they're already giving me a massive discount despite the fact that at NO point from when I called to when we were looking at the car, did they ever talk about giving us a discount. At this point, the finance person we were talking to just up and left and the manager took over. I asked for $350 off and they gave me very hard time about it, however they did approve it. They have you sign all the paperwork with a computer screen half turned towards you. The car gave us a flashing check engine light on the way home. Once reading the paperwork that was emailed to us, I saw on the warranty page as well as the financing page that it states that the warranty is not required or considered for accepting financing. This was very upsetting as we were told, Prior to ever making the trip over; that we would need to have the warranty to secure the financing. When signing the paperwork they do not go into detail about the warranty, They hardly even bring it up. The manager agreed to refund the warranty, however, because "he's losing money on the deal" He has to take his cut of our refund ($1,600) And then we can have the remaining $1,300. I explained to him that We were told we had to have the warranty To secure the financing by Rick. He did not seem to care and instead of doing the honorable thing which would be to return the full value of the warranty because we were lied to by one of his employees, he insists on taking his cut. Despite us being lied to, despite book value on the cars loan paperwork listed as under 5000 (the care was listed at nearly 10k and we purchased for 8.4k) despite that we asked and they agreed on an additional $350 off, and despite that we were told they get most of their cars from auction. So instead of Acknowledging the fact that we were lied to by one of the employees And making things right by refunding us for the full amount of the warranty; They are still going to take their cut of $1600 and they are not even honoring the $350 that I requested off (I never originally requested the $1,600 off. As previously stated we came there, assuming we were going to pay full price, and were not told about a discount until I directly questioned what they were talking about) It seems to me like they only gave us the additional amount off to get us approved for financing, but because they were taking less on the car, they added the warranty so that they could still make an additional profit. Every time I call, they say that the manager is gonna call me back and he never does. But of course, when I was calling to originally buy the car, they were l quick to call back. This could have been a much different review, despite the slimy hard selling techniques; I did like the car, however I cannot stand behind being purposely misled and lied to and when Confronting them about it, they refuse to actually make it right. The trust is gone. I have to agree with the negative reviews. Please do not buy a car here. I will never return. What does it say about a business if they do not care about making things truly right?

The salesperson I worked with was polite and professional throughout the interaction, so this review is not about any one individual. It's about the overall dealership experience. The process felt unnecessarily performative and ultimately wasted a significant amount of my time. I first visited during my lunch break to look at an X7 that had reportedly already been sitting for sale for quite some time. The vehicle itself had visible cobwebs on portions of the exterior, yet the dealership framed the buying process as highly exclusive and "appointment only." I was told I would need to return another day just to test drive the vehicle. I came back two days later for my scheduled appointment expecting a straightforward drive and discussion afterward. Instead, before I was even allowed behind the wheel, the conversation immediately shifted into pricing and commitment. I was told they wanted to make sure the deal was "worth their time" before permitting a test drive. The advertised price also turned out to be materially different from the actual selling price. During my first visit, items like wheel powder coating, tint, and door edge guards were presented as part of how they prepare their cars. During the second visit, those same items appeared as added charges on top of the listed price, increasing the total by several thousand dollars. I was also told the pricing was completely non-negotiable under any circumstance. Luxury buyers today value transparency, efficiency, and professionalism. Requiring multiple in-person visits before even allowing a test drive -- while adding thousands beyond the advertised price -- created an experience that felt far more like a high-pressure used car lot than a modern premium dealership. Ironically, I now have a different X7 sitting in my garage after an incredibly smooth and straightforward buying experience elsewhere, while the X7 at San Diego Beemers still appears to be sitting in the exact same spot on the lot -- cobwebs and all. I'm leaving this review simply so other buyers know what to expect before investing their time.

The "Giant Used Car Tent Sale!" (I know you can hear it in your head... that voice that plays over and over on the radio). It's a place where half a dozen used car dealers bring their stock they want to get rid of and just have "large discounts" on them. The reason "large discounts" is in quotes is because all the stickers say "Normally" and "Tent Sale" prices. I went for 6 hours today... yeah... 6 freaking hours. It wasn't BAD just not fruitful. Also because they advertise financing that is probably how they are making their money. I would give the last person (Paul from san diego auto connnection) around a 3 to 4, but the first person from El Cajon Superstore about a negative 5. The other group there maybe a 2 to 3. NOTE we wanted to pay cash as had recently had an accident and been paid for our car. Also we were "guided" by a person directly to the back right into the "claws" of a salesperson from El Cajon Superstore. It was me, my husband and our daughter. What we realized later is that there were actually 3 different dealers there, but it took a while to figure this out as the person tried to keep us looking at his stuff. I am sure this "helpful" woman gets a kickback from this dealer, in fact I wouldnt be surprised if there isnt some other arrangement as they are directly back. I swear this person would have sold his mother an overpriced car and lied to her. He told us that they put "thousands" of dollars into each car including new tires. NONE of the tires were new. The second place (to the right when you walk in) was a bit better but also they were determined to put me in a car I didnt want. At least they had a better sales pitch. The last person was Paul from San Diego Auto Connection, He was the only one to me who seemed human and interested in what I was saying. He also gave me his card and told me to go online and check out the cars there (note ALL the cars at the sale were online and there were no better deals online but at least HE was honest). Its a good place to get comps to check against cars on craigslist and other dealers. TAKE YOUR SMART PHONE and use Kelly Blue Book while there to make sure you know what comps really are. I have been to a lot of the same "category" of used car lots and this places prices are at least 20% to 30% higher. You MAY get a good deal. I suggest doing your homework and not getting "switched" into a car you havent researched. AND research in front of them. and GOOD LUCK.
